try changing gears without the clutch; raise the tachometer needle to 2.5 or 3 rpm, release the accelerator pedal and change gears while the tachometer needle goes down, keep pressure on the stick with your hand and at 2 rpm the car will make you change gears without the clutch, do it progressively 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 without jumps. If you do it precisely the transmission will not make any noise and your driving will be much better... modern cars with manual transmission have the advantage that the display tells you when you have to change gears, it makes the changes without the clutch... it will improve your driving technique, like a pro!
