- Is this boredom land of a Thomas era devoid of good episodes? Well, this loyal fan thinks not. I hope all you will enjoy this video as I had some fun editing it.
Here are my thoughts on these special honorable mentions:
1. Double Trouble: It’s a rather nonsensical but funny and amusing episode revolving around Sir Topham Hatt’s identical brother, and the ending is admittedly very sweet.
2. The Biggest Present Of All: Thomas’ goal here is admirable. It’s nice to see Hiro make a return even if it feels rushed, and the episode’s ending is oddly satisfying.
3. Henry’s Good Deeds: This is the only best of Henry’s Nitrogen Era episodes because his gentle giant side is shown nicely, and the peaceful music is lovely too.
4. Diesel’s Special Delivery: A nice episode of Diesel being in a position of sympathy.
5. Merry Misty Island: I think this is a fairly decent episode on the Logging Locos because I think their goal is kinda nice. It’s not bad, just okay.
6. Happy Hiro: Thomas is just as stubborn as ever, but it’s his relationship with Hiro that carries the episode for me.
7. Stop That Bus!: Bertie’s first main role in CGI, his friendship with highlighted perfectly, and there’s some humor Sir Topham Hatt and his mother.
8. Spencer The Grand: Spencer is one of those characters who are written well in this era, and this episode really does him some favors.
9. Bust My Buffers!: A classic Gordon centric episode about him being too pompous and self-centered, and learning to accept help from diesels.
10. Salty’s Surprise: A decent holiday episode revolving around Salty and Edward’s generosity actually works here.
11. Muddy Matters: A nice little slice of life story and James is written fairly well. It also has some good music.
12. Whiff’s Wish: Whiff is a great character with actual desires and flaws, and Spencer makes a good contrast to him.

21:10 besides, Percy didn’t even know what a Coliape was until this episode.
That makes sense tho
I still choose to call this era the Miller era for the same reason the Brenner era is still called so. Great video btw. It is nice to be reminded that the worst era of Thomas isn’t all bad. Now we need a hidden gems video on BWBA.
I’m glad that you give the nitrogen era a chance because I think it’s better than the BWBA era which worse than it, and I don’t think the nitrogen era is as bad as everyone seems to be.
I don’t think BWBA is as bad because it at least had decent writing and kept Edward and Henry in character. I kinda feel like BWBA deserves a chance as well because it also has its gems and there are newer fans who are growing up with it.
@@joshuaW5621 i think thats because they barely showed up in BWBA
@@splendidproductions5 maybe so, but hey, it is still worth giving it credit for that fact alone.
Well, that's a great video on the Miller era's hidden gems. Very good. I like The Logging Locos and Charlie as they are alongside some fans since their quirky and jokey fun loving traits are good to me. If the Locos appear more in the Brenner era, they would've become better characters with good writing while still quirky, especially to focus on Bash's timid and peaceful trait and Dash's outgoing and supportive trait in leading roles. Can you imagine that? If Charlie gets better episodes to develop his character of learning to focus on work and leaves fun til spare times, he would become better.
Honestly out of all the four season of this era season 13 is the most watchable just like season 12 I can at least tolerate the three strikes formula in a dialogue we're not too bad and there are some good episodes like tickled pink snow tracks steamy sodor blooming Miss etcetera etcetera
Now we wait for Tug’s take.
You should make a video on Hidden Gems of the BWBA aka the my least favorite Thomas and Friends Era of all time
@@DiegoMatos-u6u possibly, maybe at some point
What about aeg 💀
@@Tugsboi47 I don’t really know yet even though reboots should be given a second chance.
BWBA is so overhated these days so seeing a video on its hidden gems would be nice.
@@joshuaW5621 nah aeg people don’t even talk about bwba anymore
I'd argue that even with the worst eras of Thomas , you can still do worse (just look at Gen Alpha 😒)
What’s Gen alpha?

no it’s kids born after 2012
@@MatthewMiranda-l2t I thought it was after 2012
@@asodorsteamie yes ik
26:48 isn’t the supportive soul side of his character you just mentioned accurate with season 5?
@@karenfan010 it’s just the fact that his personality is never consistent in the era’s run

If only Unlucky Tug see that Charlie and Eddie is a decent episode for Edward.
Loads better than a Shed For Edward.
@@growlie2676 Really?
I find it coincidental that three out of the ten episodes in this list, and one from the honorable mentions were the ones mentioned as good episodes as the episodes in question are my favorite. To be exact, they were Tinkled Pink, Merry Misty Island, Edward the Hero and Happy Birthday Sir!
@@evanf1293 Good for you buddy
@@thetttefanwithlegos2992 Outside of Merry Misty Island, which I enjoy for how the logging locos are trying to do something for their friends (despite their movie having aged poorly) you pretty much summed up everything on the other 3 episodes I mentioned on why they are my fav of the Nitrogen era. They're not 100% perfect, but still enjoyable for the last few years Hit had the license before Mattel came along.
How about The Top Ten Hidden Gems of Ben and Holly and Peppa Pig for the Next Video.
@@DiegoMatos-u6u Sorry, I’m not really a fan of those shows.
