Found you through your weaver videos. Ran across one of your videos looking for a refresher for oiling and antiquing. Didn’t realize you have your own channel. You have a lot of great info in them! Thanks for sharing!!
You’re exactly right about the Stanley utility knife. I have a ton of money invested in different “leather” knives. Still use a utility knife or xacto or scalpel 99.9% of the time.
Hi Joe. Always enjoy your videos! Very informative! I'm currently out of work because of an injury. Now I'm struggling but really enjoy doing leatherwork. Can you point me in the right direction on how to get orders I can fill? Thanks. Keep up the awesome work!
Hey there, thank you for following along with the videos. I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling. I’ll be doing a live series soon on building a leathercraft business that should really help. In the mean time though, start utilizing social media.
Right now the best way to order is contacting directly. I’m working on a page for the website that will be more user friendly for belt options but it’s not up yet.

Is it okay to make belts from the belly area?
Is that 10% discount still available (as of 2/3/23)?
I have a customer who wants a toddle belt how thick should I cut it? Is A inch a a quarter fine? How do you cut your toddle belts out? Thanks!
What weight leather do you use for a belt?
I tool on 8/9 and line them with 3/4oz
Where did you get your draw knife for cutting your blanks?

cutting the hide at 53 really helps.
Do you cutting them exactly 1.5" wide or slightly thinner? I've had issues with buckles being exactly 1.5" wide which doesn't work with 1.5" wide belt
I cut them right at 1.5
