To all my hellcat family if you don’t have no drag tires on your car don’t race down the strip because you will lose or almost lose your car if you get into that throttle
They are racing in Las Vegas, the air is warm and thin. This has a tendency to slow down cars. Additionally, a car like the Challenger would benefit greatly from drag racing tires
Yep. Hot, thin air means a high DA and slower ETs and Trap Speeds. The Las Vegas track is about 2,000 feet ASL. But the DA can easily be well above 4000 feet.
I hate when all the small brain mention HP on Hellcat to diss it, obviously doesn’t matter if you can’t get traction. Everyone who owns a Hellcat doesn’t race but some of us want to see what it could “potentially” do
A hellcat should be racing a Shelby 🐍. A 5.0 coyote 🐺 should be racing a scat pack 🐝 they have similar power but a coyote vs a hellcat is no comparison

I don't understand ur comment but everybody is missing the point the 5.0 is not even in the same class as a hellcat and both them lost is bad news it's not even a gt350 or gt500
@@mrceo5.083it’s not in the same class but the way physics work it’s so much weight and power, takes longer to catch traction unless we come out with some cheap AI technology to give hellcats perfect grip but that still doesn’t make them easy to turn in other scenarios.

Agreed
Dope
Still won’t matter bc shits slow weights 4700 lbs and makes 700hp
2:29 Them 10speeds sound amazing
They work REALLY well but Coyote engines sound like 💩. And I’m a lifetime diehard Ford fan.
Nah Dodge sounds more better 💪💪💪

Dodge has the best sounding V8 currently.
@@danmyers9372yeah
If your the driver in either of those hell cats you should be ashamed. That mustang gt has about half the horsepower and torque of the hell cat.

@@trevorshark16 I understand that which is why the dodge should have won everyone of those races. The air in Las Vegas affects both the cars.
And they weigh half of what those tug boats do
Too bad hellcat owners are all drug dealers with 5 brain cells and don’t know anything about grip or aero 😂
Damn the hellcat ran a time slower than a stock 392 scat or TA?
It's the elevation. Las Vegas speedway is about 3800 above sea level.

oh shit yeah, it most definitely.. effects these cars performance, badly! 💯
