Super Audio Cart is awesome, but no! There's a couple samples from the genesis cart (drums, vocal samples), but all the synths are Native Instruments FM8, using presets made from actual Genesis patches. FM8 and the YM2612 chip used in the Genesis share a lot of DNA, and with a little bit of work, you can port over synth settings from any game to FM8!

While that's true, you're better off using GENNY, or VOPM. That way, you can easily load the original patches, no issue!
