What Oberyn most wanted from Ser Gregor was a confession about Tywin ordering the death of his sister. Oberyn couldn’t attack the Lannisters without a public confession. But he got carried away with his vengeance and dropped his guard.
There were so many deaths that got me, Oberyn was definitely one! But the death that hit me hardest hasn't come yet......Without spoiling it for our guys, let's just say doors trigger me to this day😢
I think an important part of Dany's anger at Jorah is that he never told her or intended to. If he admitted his betrayal to her earlier, she probably would've forgiven him.
I agree. As things stood she still just banished him in her anger, rather than having him executed as a traitor. She clearly felt a lot of respect for and gratitude to him. But when your most trusted advisor keeps a secret like that from you? Keeping him around after that would've been foolish. I think watchers/reactors forget sometimes that the characters in a show don't have all the 4th wall perspective they do...
Sansa’s been abused so much she doesn’t trust anyone. Her lying about what happened to her aunt was just her way of protecting herself. Also, Ramsey’s father is worse than him in the books. Both of them are insane.
"If the masters never cut me, I never am Unsullied. I never meet Missandei from the island of Naath." While that's very messed up it's also one of the most romantic things ever portrayed in a tv show.
It wasn't cockiness, it was a blind drive for justice. He dropped his guard not out of a feeling of superiority but because he was tunnel visioned on getting a confession out of The Mountain (so he could have valid reason to go after the Lannisters)
You know if Danaerys kept Jorah around, trusted him less but still used him as a false spy to feed wrong information to the Lannisters and Varys. That would be really really smart.
Dany absolutely was being emotional. Has nothing to do with being a woman. Men are just as emotional in decision making. Gotta agree with the boys, if she wanted to make that decision, all the support. But when you are dealt a betrayal like that you aren't thinking clearly. It's best to take a step back for ANYONE and consider the consequences or context. It's unfortunate that emotional has been used derogatory towards women in the past by misogynistic idiots, but anyone can be emotional. The deciding factor is time. Take a day or two to find your center and seek council if needed, especially if you're in a position of power. Stannis's original decision to execute Davos was just as emotional and short-sighted after releasing Gendry, but was only saved by the Red Lady thinking logically
Exactly 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 She should have put in a cell and thought about what to do next. Also she could have let him fully explain his side and then make a decision.
Seeing how Danny is a woman then in then case it does have to do with being a woman lol. And if you honestly think women and men are emotional in the same way then you are blind. Women in general tend to make way more decisions based off how they feel. Sure men have emotions too, especially nowadays with how feminine they are these days, but if you are around women enough you would see the difference. Hell when you date them it’s even more obvious. But that’s ok cause men and women are different, nothing wrong with that. It is what it is
@@deanahicks6744 Uhm... no. Thats not how that works. He is lucky she didn't have him executed. In a world like that, there is too much risk in being betrayed nevermind perhaps forgiving the man who betrayed you, especially that quick. She was actually very mature with sending him away because Robb would have beheaded him, so would have anyone.
@@AlwaysRightAllNight Executing him is a better choice than releasing a right hand you no longer trust to potentially sell your info to your enemies AGAIN. Either hold on to him till you work things out or off him. Anything else puts her and her people in danger.
@@AlwaysRightAllNight She's sleeping with a guy that she was fighting against a few episodes prior because of a few flowers. Her sworn enemy's Kingsguard comes crawling and she immediately trusts him.. and so on. She's a badly written character being dumb. No need to justify it.
Jorah wasn't fully devoted til he saw Danny's power by not dying with the witch and hatching the dragons. He was in love before that but he didn't know she had real power. Edit: one - ty fa the likes and two - pretty sure we can chalk up all the failures of intellect and character development to good ole Dan & David
exactly. Varys says it in one of the seasons that Jorah has stopped spying for them, But he had given them so much information already. Dany really had no choice. How can she trust him after learning that?
This was another clue about Dyneris' true charter that most people never picked up on. If she had a brain she would have realized that: 1st It's how she met Jorah. If he had not been sent to spy on her she would have never met him. 2nd She would be dead now. Jorah switched loyalty and saved her from being poisoned by that wine. 3rd If she somehow had survived Robert's assassination with a different spy, she would have have been killed anyway after Drogo died, or would be a sex slave, her dragons stolen form her. She owes her very existence to Jorah, but too arrogant and dumb to see it.
@@Metal0sopherStill it's quite normal to be hurt by the initial betrayal even with all of this. You can't expect her to think so rationally immediately and go past the feeling of being betrayed and give mercy as if his intentions with her were pure in the very beginning. I understand her decision.
Completely agree with you. Mind you, Show Dany and Book Dany are _completely_ different characters. Show Dany was being an absolute potato regarding Jorah. @@Metal0sopher
It’s also kinda cool that when Tyrion and Jamie are talking in Tyrions cell he says “There’s no kind of murder that doesn’t have its own name” Jamie says cousins because when he was Robb Stark’s prisoner he killed his cousin to escape.. details!

Emotional isnt a bad word, and Dany has every right to be emotional. It isnt wrong, but in a position of power it isnt the best basis of decision-making. I dont understand arguments that say, ''Dany went through all of what she went through how can you call her emotional?!?'' What she went through is exactly what makes her emotional and thats human. She is a human and she is an emotional human just like most of us. On top of that all the trauma she has been through is actually the core catalyst that pushes her towards being a liberator and beacon of morality. She does not want others to be a slave because she was, she does not want others to be abused because she was. Her emotions are a strength, but they can also be a weakness. To me that is the whole point of her character.
And the witch that DANY allowed to "help" her husband...and I love Dany (my second favorite character) but NO WAY she should've let Jorah go...dude was fully committed beyond ANY doubt the second she stepped out of that fire (likely before) and saved her countless times AFTER he stopped working for the crown.
When you said “ALL of the teeth?!” 😂 Also, yeah Sansa is learning to lie, but the tears were real. She has plenty to cry about. She’s stuck with Littlefinger, after allllll of the other shit she’s been through. So she’s crying for real, just switching up her words.
Yep Sansa did a good job lying but terrible job being smart. Every time she has an opportunity for her situation to drastically improve, she chooses the wrong side... The Lords would have taken out Littlefinger and she would have been treated like a princess and well taken care of from that moment forward.
Or they would have sold her out to Cersei. It's not like she has a lot of experience with people keeping their word anymore. Littlefinger has been grooming her. She's been abused. I can see why she's choosing the evil she knows over a maybe.
Arya isnt laughing because of all that keeps happening, well maybe a little but shes laughing at the hound because hes been through all this to get her to her family so he can get paid for it and every effort hes made to get paid has been thwarted.
Exactly! Don’t know how they figured she was just laughing at “fate” or something just as silly. She was totally amused and enjoying the shadenfreude of it all.
I put my life in the Red Viper's hands, and he dropped it. When he remembered, too late, that snakes have no hands, Tyrion began to laugh hysterically.
put yourself in her shoes, your best friend tells you "the only reason you're alive is because i chose to not poison you like i was tasked to " . Wouldn't you want them to gtfo for a while at first ? I feel bad for Dany on this one .she's an orphan , she has no family to rely on so i can imagine she has a PTSD of betrayal .
Tywin sent the pardon letter to Jorah after the small council told him that Dany had 3 dragons, 2 knights advising her, and is taking over cities. The same type of moves he pulled to get Jon. Yall are totally right! Dany needed to calm down cause Jorah would do anything for her.
22:28 The point of the beatle story is to tellthe origin story of how Tyrion got so smart. He was curious from a young age and it started with the beatles.
Ain't no way in hell is that mess with Kal Drogo getting poisoned by the witch is Jorah's fault, that is 💯% Dany's naivety "thinking she can trust some person you just murdered her whole squad" fault, all day And it definitely was Tywin who did it, it had his seal of the hand
@@GustavoCardoso95 We know that's not the case in the show. When Dany confronted her, she didn't deny it and said that what Dothraki had done to her village was wrong.

I've noticed that the way a lot of new viewers of the show tend to view the Dany stuff is a lot differently than people who have been watching the show for a really long time. Idk if that has to do with just the times we are in currently or what, but I have seen both men and women who react lately in more objective ways about Dany vs how a lot of people received her character before.
Their reactions kill me everytime🤣🤣🤣 that head squish was diabolical. Prince Oberyn was waaayyy too confident and too focused on avenging his sister. If he had killed the mountain and then played the game and made allies he could have gotten to the truth and really avenge his sister. Dany has been betrayed more times than she can count, She's trying to navigate being a Queen. A dragon Queen. As Maester Aeomon said before, a Targaryen alone in the world is a sad thing. She's Alone, the last Targaryen. She's human. Been brainwashed by her brother and R*ped by her "husband". She made the best of her situation. Arya is one of my favorite female characters. shes so real its refreshing. Just wait for her story to unfold. Brandon was correct about Sansa, she is in unfamiliar territory and needs to rely on someone. She'll learn from little finger. Fuck Ramsey. Book spoiler:: The reason why Littlefinger loves Kat so much is because he thinks she took his virginity when it was really Lysa. He was drunk and confused laying in bed when she climbs on top and has her way with him. All the while he is thinking it was Kat. The next day he sees that Kat has been betrothed. That's why he fights Ned's brother. When Kat begs him to spare Littlefinger, Littlefinger sees it as an act of love. Not realizing that she was just being kind. Also there is speculation that Robin is really Littlefingers kid.
I've heard somewhere that Lysa had to drink the abortion beverage (as someone we know in House Of the Dragon) as soon as his father discovered that she spent the night with Littlefinger. And he vanished Littlefinger from his land and that is how he went to King's Landing
Dorne can’t go against the crown/the Lannisters because technically although most people believe Tywin and the mountain responsible for the death of Elia and her children there’s never been any proof of it. If Oberyn had been able to get the mountain to say that Tywin gave the order then Oberyn would then basically be able to declare war on the Lannisters and/or demand Tywin’s death
Fun little fact for y’all, the arrogant guy in Season 1 Episode 1 beyond the wall, the guy that kept pushing his brothers to keep investigating is actually Lord Royce’s son. Thats a book thing we aren’t really shown in the show
She learned lyin about Joffrey being her true love after he beheaded her dad in front of her, then she can lie about anything. Sayin that yo was kind was one of the most outrageous lies ever told lol

Right? And let's just be honest for a moment, yes women are more emotional then men. It's not a good or bad thing it's a just is thing. Men are more likely to be socio paths too....that's not a good thing. Yet there are always out-liers clearly Rob was more emotional, and Arya is much more the inward thinker. It's a crazy world we can no longer be honest about the differences in men and women....it has nothing to do with equality. It's just biology.
I love how Nettles tried to defend Little Finger at the end with "you gotta give him props for starting the whole game of thrones" and i'm like, "oh yea, and the war that killed everyone we loved? yea great job Little Finger!" I get why people like little finger, but I'm definitely not gonna praise him for starting the game of thrones by causing the death of John Arryn and by extension, the absolute ruination of House Stark. And to be fair to Baristan, he only stayed on the other side for as long as he did because he was sticking to his oath, as soon as he was dismissed and released from it, he went straight to the last surviving Targaryen, and Baristan only knows that Jorah was one of Varys's spies, he doesnt know for how long, but he knows he was and Jorah never admitted too it. And it defo doesnt help that Jorah was acting like Barristan wasnt the one they could trust, even though he's one of the most legendarily honourable people in the series, the man has Ned Stark levels of respect, if not more, and like Ned, it's both earned and deserved. Jorah meanwhile was a disgraced former slaver, turned spy, turned simp. And Baristan is still honourable enough to warn him, i think out of recognition of Jorah's service so far, but he makes sure the queen knows the facts and lets her decide, before Jorah can try and make it sound better to Dany. Also Tywin DEFINITELY sent the letter, the last time we saw them have a small council meeting, they were talking about Dany, and when Varys mentions that Jorah seems to be loyal to Dany now, he asks is Varys can get a message into Mereen and then has Mace Tyrell grab him a pen and paper, so that letter definitely came from Tywin.
20:38 I love that reaction from Arya. That's so real. Sometimes there's so many bad things going on in your life where the reaction is not sadness but a laugh. This happened to me once where I not only was experiencing horrible things from Crohn's Disease but on top of that had to pass a kidney stone. Besides the excruciating pain of it all it just made me laugh at all that was going on at the same time.
I appreciate these reactions and the real talks with people about it after cause so many other UA-camrs come off as bland or pretending that they haven’t seen it before(when they clearly have). You guys are very legit with it BTW That fan trying to say that Danny wasn’t making an emotional decisions is CRAZY targaryens are the most emotional people EVER, lol. She really couldn’t get past that word 😂
I think Dany banishing Jorah was the smartest decision for her with the information she had. Now no matter how sincere he is, she can never fully trust him again. Additionally, his presence would create a ton of tension in her court as her current advisors would be itching to take him out for her OR questioning her judgement in forgiving him/keeping him by her side after such an egregious betrayal. He put all their lives and everything they’ve fought for at risk. Letting Jorah stick around also displays weakness, and anyone who serves her and also has some kind of vulnerability (say a sick child or gambling debt) would feel emboldened to sell her out: “Hey I need the money and if she catches me she’ll just let me go - she let Jorah go and look how much pain his betrayal caused!” Also, I think by now it’s clear that Jorah doesn’t have any secret info about Dany that Tywin’s team doesn’t already know, so there’s no risk there. You gentlemen (respectfully) are being emotional about Jorah, lol, but placing that on Dany :). You know how dedicated he is to her and that he would never harm her, but she can’t possibly know that for sure from her perspective. If I’m Dany, Jorah’s gotta go! Anyway, love this channel! I can’t WAIT for 4x9!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Drives me nuts that they'll call the women emotional but they don't call the guys emotional... Not even Oberyn. Guess that's just me being emotional :p
His entire deal is 'avenging his sister'. His character is totally centered around closure and mourning. Danaerys is a character that's all about ego and cockiness. If you say Oberyn is not emotional, but Danaerys is emotional, you're not talking about emotion. You're using that word as a dog whistle and not its traditional definition. OP isn't wrong that its misogynistic. @@simplyragez-_-1767
Yeah. That's honestly the issue. Obviously she was being emotional. I've been bingeing these reactions and they do not call out the men for being emotional, only the women. Oberyn literally died this episode for being emotional and they didn't call it out at all lol
Tbf, yall really do use the blaming of being "emotional" much more towards the women than man. As women, we just tend to notice it a lot more than the guys because its a common way of demeaning/devaluing the reasonings and mental state because they are a woman. Cause, let's be real, Robb made a lot of emotional decisions. Yet for him its just "he's not thinking straight," "he needs to stop listening to his girl," or "he's making some bad choices" instead of emotional. It's like you give real reasonings for the men but sum it up as being overly emotional when it's women. When you're on this side of it, blaming hormones instead of circumstances feels degrading. So it just gets frustrating. I don't usually hop on the misogyny bullsh*t, but there does see some low key bias against the women here when it comes to their choices. I dont think it's intentional or from a bad place at all, just giving men the benefit of the doubt a bit more often.
Unpopular opinion, I hated Robb and I hate Jon lol. Super emotional characters. Cat was the only Stark who had any sense at all but her mistakes got dialed to 100 in the Fandom and everyone made excuses for the boys (including Ned) Everyone's flawed in this show but the Starks, especially Robb, were so annoying with their bs.
I wonder if Jorah had any better luck if he became open with his spy business much earlier point. The fact that he hid the truth so long was his ultimate down fall.
Oberyn was such an explosive dynamic character. I really had him in my top character list ( I'm a fan of Villains though) he was worthy of at least 2 seasons worth of screen time. I was sad when they did him like that😵😩
Why is the woman trying to gaslight you into ignoring the fact that tywin obviously sent the pardon letter to separate Dany from her best advisor. And of course Dany is emotional. She likes burning up people
That decision was definitely emotional lol. And most people's definition of emotional is limited. Men are very emotional. Men and women just sometimes display it differently. All these men who are quick to anger are emotional. And just because society likes to label women emotional creatures doesn't give leeway to ignore when a woman like Dany is emotional in a situation.
Hugs for Adison! Such wasted potential for Oberyn's character. He shouldn't have brought emotion to the fight, nor let his guard down. I agreed with Dany's judgement of Jorah. She didn't lose it and execute him, only exiled him. He almost caused her death and the death of her baby (who is now dead, exacerbating her feelings around it), how could she truly trust him again, however much she wanted to? As Adison, I also wonder how much of his loyalty comes down to him being infatuated with her (an 18-year old, no less). He also makes a salient point about taking her past betrayals into account. I also can't shake that Jorah never showed remorse or contrition for selling slaves...
I agree that her decision was driven by emotion. However, it seems that many people misunderstand the essence of what is being discussed. A careful reading of the term's definition in the dictionary would clarify the matter. Had Daenerys confined him to the dungeons, allowing herself time to reflect, deliberate on the events, and weigh the consequences, then her final decision would have been rational and well-considered. This approach involves analysing the situation, calming one's emotions, and making a judgment based on REASON rather than IMPULSE. Such a process exemplifies LOGICAL decision-making. Reacting in the heat of the moment, regardless of gender, is inherently an emotional response. It is important to recognize that this has nothing to do with whether one is a woman or a man. I feel like a lot of people are getting angry at something that is being misunderstood as a whole.
Here y’all go with this emotional mess. Every single character is emotional who makes dumb decisions because they aren’t thinking. Guarantee that your favorite male characters would have executed Jorah no questions asked.
Have you been paying attention. Rob was their favourite character up until his death, and they always called him out on "emotional" decisions. They called out Ned a bunch, for not being savy and caring only about his morals. Yes their male favourite characters did "questionable" things and the DID call them out, Dany is just many of others they're doing too. No discrimination.
@E1lMagoVal10 Nah. I'm a patreon member and in their longer discussions, they blamed everything Robb did on Cat. They only called his decisions dumb after the first time they were called out for the emotional thing. They only use the label "emotional" for female characters, especially Dany. I like these guys but calling a spade a spade.
@@lavinder11 The Red wedding ep they were tripping. But eps prior, they were calling Rob out on the regular, especially on the handling of Jamie's capture and what followed and him and his "mistress".

Barristan is such a great character. I hope you guys react to history and lore someday because he has a CRAZY backstory. The episode where he shows up and pledges his sword to Dany was a treat for book readers
I wanted to comment on Jorah for a bit. I don’t know if this has been discussed much, but Jorah’s love/obsession with Daenerys is tied in with his love/shame for his wife, Lynesse. In the books, her appearance reminds him of Lynesse who was a Hightower. While she is described as having golden hair in the books, I believe she also may have Valyrian features passed down from being a Hightower. Fun fact: Rhaena Targaryen (Daemon’s daughter) will wed Garland Hightower, and they will have 6 daughters. Alerie Tyrell (Maergary’s mother and Lynesse’s sister) also has fair skin and silverish hair. While I do believe he does fall more in love with Daenerys watching her rule, it’s much more deep seeded than that. She’s a constant reminder of his love and affection for his wife Lynesse with whom he was unable to please and practically sold his soul for (and was banished because of it). EDIT: it’s less important that they are Hightowers. So many Targaryen daughters married into other houses in the Vale and Riverlands, as well. My point is that, occasionally, those recessive Valyrian genes will pop out, and I believe Lynesse possesses some of that (which essentially makes Jorah’s connection with Daenerys a little more understandable.)
Ok one more comment because what did she say 😂.. Jora was not the cause of dannys family dying.. Danny was the cause of dannys family dying.. Which is crazy because she really brought up jora almost getting her poisoned while pregnant.. When he is the one that saved her and her baby.. Idk what that caller was talking about blaming jora for drogo and the babies death.. That was wild 😂
Wait a minute! The caller who said Khaleesi was EMOTIONAL???? Like yall should thank the gods that you were not sold by your own brother and raped by the person you married and left alone in between people she doesn’t know anything about or how they function as a group. She believes in just 4 people in this world and 1 of them turns out was going to betray her. Thats like shattering for her too. And she gives him a chance to go alive rather than killing him. She is already being rational enough to keep him alive. Like I know we like Jorah as a character but puhhlleeaasse she was just “emotional”? No freaking way!
I mean they did acknowledge that though, but thats just the thing. It'a not about liking jorah as a character, and knowing that someone who you trusted like that is devastating. But Danny, at the moment, has a very skewed sense of morality and justice. In not believing in peoples ability to change, and their being nuance in their actions. Just as how her demanding that all the slavers be treated the same way, be an erratic decision. And there's plenty to prove that jorah is trustworthy. Also as they pointed out, as well, literally everyone in daenery's council and army has some dirt on them. Daenerys literally fell in love with Mr. Im going to pillage, and r***, and torture children and women.
44:30 Drogo was going to raid and take slaves anyways, its what the Dothraki do. Daenerys was always going to get him into a fight by stopping someone from raping somebody. Also it was Tywin, he talk about it in the small council earlier this season.
You guys are right, they sent a Pardon sealed with the Royal stamp from kings landing to make Jorah look like he was still a traitor and still working for them. Tywin knew she would kick him out which gave him the upper hand, he’s playing chess not checkers.
Man I am not gonna lie I can not get behind like most of your guy’s opinions over Daenerys, especially with this “ emotional “ nonsense, every character is emotional lol. Whether Jorah switched loyalty or not , the fact that he gave them so much information on her he’s honestly lucky she didn’t want him executed or even imprisoned? Can you imagine what Tywin would’ve done in her shoes? Or Robb for example, should he have tried to work things out with Theon when he took winterfell because he was once loyal to Robb? I know those situations aren’t identical but the point I’m trying to make stands, her response to what Jorah did was pretty tame.
It's funny you say that because we actually speak exactly on what we believe Tywin would have done and we also bring up emotional decisions other male characters have made as well. -Adison
I absolutely have to agree with Addison and Brandon about Khaleesi. Even though she is very young and she's been thru a lot. Her brother was an absolute monster. So yes, she did get emotional at that moment b/c that's just one more close person betraying her. BUT, she's chosen to lead thousands of people. She's got 3 dragons, in this day and age, that would be 3 weapons of mass destruction no one else has. She's chosen to live this life and not be a regular woman who has suffered terrible things. So she can't be out here maneuvering like a regular woman. And I'm not saying that in a derogatory way towards women at all. I'm a Blk woman myself. What I'm saying is: she's chosen to live a life where one wrong decision can mean people's lives and her own. She's ultimately the final word, responsible for all these people that are riding for her. The Lannisters don't care that she's going thru, the white walkers don't care, all those people, horses, dragons have to be fed everyday. They'll say I'm sorry you're crying, but can I get my bowl of stew. As they should. Of course we have emotions, we can feel and express them, but it can't be where you make your decisions from, not when lives, your empire, your lands are at stake. You can't make a hurt girl's decision, you can't even make a scorned woman's decision. To be Queen, you have to make queen's decisions. And best believe, not one of your enemies care for one second about your feelings. If Circe knew about Denarys right now, she would "throw" The Mountain at her and sip her wine through all of it. Denarys was hurt by what Jora did but if he hadn't have stopped her from drinking the wine, none of this conversation would even be happening. That, should've triggered her to hear his reasons why, explain himself, what caused the change in him? She didn't give herself the chance to get the full picture. She got upset at what was done to her, and just sent away the person who was your strongest counsel and knows everything about your plans, your numbers, you're supplies, the route you're taking, the dragons, all of it. AND you embarrassed him in front of a room of his colleagues when you did it. Not all men, but way too many, can't get past a bruised ego. What if Tywin were to say "tell me what you know and what you've been doing and I'll make you my new Hand" or something? What if he tortured him? Jora LITERALLY has the keys to your kingdom. Bad move. My dad and I used to watch the old Japanese movies with emperors and empresses plotting, kil*ing and poisoning each other after Saturday morning cartoons. He was the one that taught me: Cry, curse, stomp around until you pass out. (My first feeling is always, they hurt me, they act like they WANT "the dracarys', so I'ma give it to them). He'd say, have your emotions. But when it's time to figure out your next move, wipe your eyes, and "emotions go sit quietly in the chair and wait while you make clear decisions at the big table where you can see everything.".
You tell Dany to take a deep breath but you can’t imagine betrayal on that level She does not need to calm down, what Jorah got was deserved. Unfortunate and sad, but deserved

I forget how much the show mentions it, but Oberyn has a REPUTATION for having spent years studying about as much as he could, including poisons- An interest he's backed up multiple times by coating the blades of his weapons in different types of poison. When you take everything into consideration- Wanting to publicly call out the Lannisters doesn't make much sense, if he's established as coming into enemy territorywanting revenge. He's already been spending time around Tywin Lannister, he was invited to speak on the council. He's not been shy about his intentions towards Tywin. Him getting so emotional makes it feel like he's truly working in order, but if he's had ACCESS to the guy he thinks gave the order, and alreadys suspects him- Would he be so worried about a confession to give him the go ahead? JUST because you need to get revenge in some weird order? Would he go into enemy territory, set on getting revenge, and only have ONE WAY of getting it all done?
I think he wants war but he needs a proper reason because Dorne has a peaceful agreement with the other kingdoms as Dorne was never conquered. If the Mountain confessed, he has a valid excuse to declare war
One of my top 10 episodes. Reason.. You just dont see spear play like that in movies or shows fr 🔥. Not quite as fantasy as the spear play in eastern showings..
Agreed with both of y’all
Sansa’s been abused so much she doesn’t trust anyone. Her lying about what happened to her aunt was just her way of protecting herself. Also, Ramsey’s father is worse than him in the books. Both of them are insane.
Littlefinger started grooming Sansa in season 1 when he told her about the history of the Clegan brothers, and she swore never to tell anyone.
It always starts with them seeing if you can keep a secret.
"If the masters never cut me, I never am Unsullied. I never meet Missandei from the island of Naath."
While that's very messed up it's also one of the most romantic things ever portrayed in a tv show.
Facts. It's a terrible thing that happened but the sentiment is very sweet.
Ego tends to be a man's downfall quite often. Oberyn was straight up a badass, but got too cocky and paid the ultimate price.
Is this an emotion?
George wanted to make fun of the stereotypical "david vs goliath" that we seen in fantasy stories
It wasn't cockiness, it was a blind drive for justice. He dropped his guard not out of a feeling of superiority but because he was tunnel visioned on getting a confession out of The Mountain (so he could have valid reason to go after the Lannisters)
He was too emotional, wouldn't have played it like that if he was a woman
You know if Danaerys kept Jorah around, trusted him less but still used him as a false spy to feed wrong information to the Lannisters and Varys. That would be really really smart.
We need more regular GoT uploads, I`m addicted to rewatching this show with you guys!
Anything else puts her and her people in danger.

exactly. Varys says it in one of the seasons that Jorah has stopped spying for them, But he had given them so much information already. Dany really had no choice. How can she trust him after learning that?
@@kalelson8861 I don't think had anything to do with any of that. He was ashamed of what he did and wanted to.go home. Period.
This was another clue about Dyneris' true charter that most people never picked up on. If she had a brain she would have realized that:
1st It's how she met Jorah.

Emotional isnt a bad word, and Dany has every right to be emotional. It isnt wrong, but in a position of power it isnt the best basis of decision-making.
I dont understand arguments that say,
''Dany went through all of what she went through how can you call her emotional?!?''
What she went through is exactly what makes her emotional and thats human.
People, and this applies to both men & women, often seem to discount the fact that anger is an emotion, and a very powerful one at that.

The reason why Littlefinger loves Kat so much is because he thinks she took his virginity when it was really Lysa.

I love how Nettles tried to defend Little Finger at the end with "you gotta give him props for starting the whole game of thrones" and i'm like, "oh yea, and the war that killed everyone we loved? yea great job Little Finger!"
I get why people like little finger, but I'm definitely not gonna praise him for starting the game of thrones by causing the death of John Arryn and by extension, the absolute ruination of House Stark.

Oberyn was the greatest fighter in Westeros after Robert got fat. If Oberyn would’ve just STFU while fighting, he would have won.
Omg! Why ya'll do us like that with the thumbnail? Now I really can't wait 😂😂❤
Letting Jorah stick around also displays weakness, and anyone who serves her and also has some kind of vulnerability (say a sick child or gambling debt) would feel emboldened to sell her out: “Hey I need the money and if she catches me she’ll just let me go - she let Jorah go and look how much pain his betrayal caused!”
Also, I think by now it’s clear that Jorah doesn’t have any secret info about Dany that Tywin’s team doesn’t already know, so there’s no risk there.
You gentlemen (respectfully) are being emotional about Jorah, lol, but placing that on Dany :). You know how dedicated he is to her and that he would never harm her, but she can’t possibly know that for sure from her perspective. If I’m Dany, Jorah’s gotta go!

Cat was the only Stark who had any sense at all but her mistakes got dialed to 100 in the Fandom and everyone made excuses for the boys (including Ned)
Everyone's flawed in this show but the Starks, especially Robb, were so annoying with their bs.
Bronn foreshadowed Oberyns death when he was talking about not wanting to fight the mountain with Tyrion
I wonder if Jorah had any better luck if he became open with his spy business much earlier point. The fact that he hid the truth so long was his ultimate down fall.
She learned how to lie, you have to tell a 90% truth.

She likes burning up people
Addison's reaction has me in tears 😂😂😂😂
I woke up in the hope you guys released a new video. I came in at the best possible timing!

@E1lMagoVal10 Nah. I'm a patreon member and in their longer discussions, they blamed everything Robb did on Cat. They only called his decisions dumb after the first time they were called out for the emotional thing. They only use the label "emotional" for female characters, especially Dany.

@@JustLeeThings These two were wondering if Dany was in love with Drogo. I don't think they remembered that she was sold to him.
Agree 💯✔
😂😂😂
your a woman arnt you ? and for some reason this triggered an emotion in you ...and you left a long reply in disbelief
I got my wine, let's go!
The actor was not changed?? lol it’s always been Pedro Pascal playing Oberyn 😂
🙋🏾♀️ I'm also in the Littlefinger fan club. He's my favorite character. I love a mastermind villain

23:42 😂😂 damn it, I love the basketball references
I was Addison seeing Oberyn's death.
Strap in!!! Don't blink! I have to watch this one live with you guys. What time, est. ?
You tell Dany to take a deep breath but you can’t imagine betrayal on that level
She does not need to calm down, what Jorah got was deserved. Unfortunate and sad, but deserved
They didn’t say it wasn’t deserved…they said it was an emotional decision and they are right. She didn’t think about any potential consequences of that action and acted on pure emotion. What are you yapping about? 🤣🤣🤣
@@brianisaksen2274 They act like in her position they’d take a deep breath and be chill and like you said ‘think about the consequences’ but based on their previous episodes they’d f**k up worse than she did 🤷🏻♂️
@@Bled420 and just like they said, they are not in her position, and have the benefit of making an objective opinion from the outside looking in…which is very clearly her making an emotional decision 🤣🤣🤣

No but I had UA-cam auto playing in the background and I had no idea who was talking at first the voices were 🔥
I'm already looking forward to the next episode
One of my top 10 episodes. Reason.. You just dont see spear play like that in movies or shows fr 🔥. Not quite as fantasy as the spear play in eastern showings.. Not quite so grounded or flat as the western spear play.. A truly balanced event 👏🏾👏🏾.. Troy(Brad Pitt version) was still better but only slightly.. Like if troy is 9/10 this was 8.9/10
Yo. IDK who the Baelish fan is but FINALLY FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT. BAELISH IS MY FAV CHARACTER!! I LOVE THE LOVE
i know you guys really need this information so ill give it.... the unsullied do in fact have a lightning rod.. they just dont have their gobstoppers
