It’s rare to see two guys with 20+ rebounds on both teams. Neither team could make enough, nor stop the other guy from grabbing rebounds.
Edit: What I mean is, there were a lot of misses for this stat like to occur.
AD was dominant. Looney was the only guy in GSW team that could get rebounds consistently. When Curry has second most rebounds (6) in the team, there seems to be rebounding problems.
@@240TechGuy GSW is too small for Lakers. I was rooting for GSW but they can't pass Lakers without bleeding or they will not be able to pass at all.
@@240TechGuy AD's constant patrolling and moving to defend the interior was one of my worries when it came to allowing Looney to get rebounding position. I don't know if that's a problem the Lakers can fix without compromising AD's control defensively. But, the Lakers still won the rebounding edge, Bron had 11 I think and others had a few. That's going to be how they have to do it honestly.

@@zaynes5094 Lebron and AD have completely locked down the paint. They have no one big enough to threaten the two of them. If AD overcommits, Lebron is there to help the weak side. That’s why GS doesn’t get fouls called, they live and die by the three. Less likely to get fouls there, and the refs manufactured some on Poole.
The only thing that holds back AD is his health. When he’s healthy, we all know he’s top 3 or 5 player and that’s why the bubble was so crucial to Lakers win in 2020. Let’s just hope he stays healthy.

The Lakers closing it out in a blowout in 6 and the Warriors going to a game 7 is huge for the start of this series. They need to try to take advantage and get game 2.
I got them in 5-6. People really sleeping on Lakers. They’ve been an absolute powerhouse since the trades. I’ll put it like this. You ever watch a football team that plays excellent D and runs the ball? Very hard to beat. That’s the Lakers. They turn stops into easy 2s and get to the FT line. Think 49ers…but Jimmy G ain’t the QB. I got them in 5-6 and going all the way.

Not really, the Warriors had a terrible shooting night and they were still competing until the very end + Davis dominating like crazy. If the Warriors establish any rhythm with these shots and Davis has a average performance, the Warriors are going to win by 15 points if not more

This LA team reminds me of Bubble LA team… AD and Bron performing + a good supporting cast
This is even better than the bubble IMO. They have DLO and Reaves who can make plays and shoot. Not as good defender as KCP and Green but the latter pair cannot make plays nor create their own shot nor get to the foul line. They also have Vanderbilt now compared to Markieff Morris who is only a spot up shooter and slower not a good defender. Rui and Schroder compared to Rondo and Howard off the bench is arguable though but we saw how Rui can come out big and barely misses a shot since game 1 against the Grizz. We see Schroder now in this series with how valuable he can be.

@@hokagedlo6133 The Warriors live by the 3 and make the game easy for the other team. I agree it's a series because AD has to play like that but he has done it before. Now getting past Denver without Dwight Howard to guarding Joker is the biggest test for the AD. It's pretty much a toss-up for the Chip this year and that is nice to see. Match ups are very important this year. For that I would congratulate the NBA because the push for offense has equalized everyone. But sure GSW can shoot lights out and run the table too. It is my least favorite style but sure. The most entertaining Finals is making it a Battle of Big Men. AD or Joker vs Joel. This is what I hope for because it would be refreshing to see and fun to watch.
