Whats good is she doesnt fuck around with a 10 min intro and also fuck around with saying the same thing over and over again "yeah so all in all a pretty easy fight just dont do X and avoid Y but otherwise a pretty easy fight, should go nice and smoothly for a nice easy fight...*3 hours later*...and on to the next boss arguably one of the better bosses to be fighting"....she isnt like that. She explains the fights simply and quickly. Done.
Awesome guide! On Kul Tharok you want to run into the grasping hands when you get the debuff that rips out your soul. It will hold it in place and save you from having to run after your soul.
I have mentioned from time to time about how I was not going to purchase SL....well some Wild Turkey and 1 drunk purchase later, opted for the Epic edition.
You might just have heard this quite a bit, but these guides are EFing AWESOME! Tanked my first run of Theater of Pain and some these Boss Mechanics i wasn’t even aware of. But more aware because if this video guide.
Not sure if still works but for a while on beta: Kul'tharok (necromancer boss) the grasping hands that spawn on the ground will hold your soul if you run into it just before the Draw Soul cast that way they cant run away from you and you just instantly grab the soul.
This is what sets Hazel apart from the rest - you can always count on the fact that she has checked every instadeath mechanic herself to ensure a personal guarantee of impeccable accuracy.
Your guide got me raged at lol. The ability that draws your soul, you have to catch in the green hands by standing just behind them. Love the guides but maybe update them 😅
I like the vid, but here's a small critique (and i dont know if this applies to anyone or just this specific setup): When you pause the video to read the abilities, the youtube-playbar is on top of the abilities you put in the video to read. This makes it kind of a hassle to watch. Anyway thanks for the guides!
Odd someone already down vote this video. On a more serious note, I did this in all 3 difficulty, and the Mythic version, we actually find some newer mechanics. It was really tough.
Came her because I just died on one of the platforms some purple thing came at me and knocked me off the platform and I died somewhere between xav and Kul'tharok. Healer could not rez me and It being my first time in their I did not want to walk back through everything by myself so I found it easier to leave the instance and come here to learn what to do, although that part of the fight was not in this video, I guess if you see some purple plasma/ghost coming at you while on the platforms move, quick.
Is the healer not targeted for the soul chasing spell? As healer I've never been targeted with a full group (pulling with 3 accidentally left me a target, but one dying didn't seem to). I don't think this is coincidence and the silence on the healer would be pretty brutal for the group even for 3 secs, but I haven't seen a confirmation on that yet.
Just FYI. If you strep on to the hands just before draw soul finishes casting, the hands actually grip your soul making it so you get it back instantly 👍
I HATE having a boss with a mechanic that forces PvP combat. Dungeons and Raids are meant for PVE PLAYERS so forcing PvP is pretty damn unfair and makes me not want to run DPS for Shadowlands. I appreciate your guides, Hazel, and love how clear and informative they are! Keep up the good work like always!!!
You say Dessia's "engrage" can be counteracted by Druids. Well, i immediately referred to my list of over 500 hunter tranquible NPCs; thinking she might be one of them - she is not. But thank you for that "knowledge drop" nonetheless. I don't study every single buff/debuff, spell/curse etc. of every single player in the game! Who would do such a thing?
i literally know most of what hazel is gonan say couple days before her videos, but i still watch them coz i love listenign to her talk..where can i go simp for her?
When doing the pvp for the 3rd boss, will dots wear off? Like let’s say it’s a rouge vs a warrior, will the warrior loos the dots after they’ve won/lost?
Did this dungeon on mythic with some friends and we were all under 150 Ilvl. It was rough but that last boss was just awful for us, 19 wipes until we got it. Healer and tank just couldn’t get those charges down
Cut them some slack. These guides were made with beta when nobody knew anything about it so it's natural to not have the current meta. In fact it's very impressive how close to the meta they often are when nobody had experience back then.
We should appreciate Hazel just for the "...i checked" lines
4:00 if you stand in the hand pools when he rips your soul out, the souls will be stuck and you'll pretty much instantly get it back.
I was just about to post this it seems like not very many people know about this mechanic
Yup
I come to post exactly the same hint
tank told me this mid fight lol
Hazel has the only dungeon/raid guides that I can pay attention to the whole way through, lol
Cause they’re only 3-5 mins lol
@@papillon2066 he never said he had a large attention span
@@papillon2066 Yea but seriously some guides are like 30 minutes long discribing 3 mechanics
Done.
I love that you show every mechanic and what the ability’s look like which great emphasis! Thank youuuu
Also what the ability looks like when it kills you, that's an important part as well
Awesome guide! On Kul Tharok you want to run into the grasping hands when you get the debuff that rips out your soul. It will hold it in place and save you from having to run after your soul.
This is super in-depth and comprehensive. Please do more of these!
She does these videos for all of the content
Hazel I’ve been gone 5 years and you are a huge help getting back I’m a huge fan thanks for your efforts
I love your guides. Right to the point and mechanics are clearly explained, with added test of checking for us.
This entire instance is like - Ok, not too bad, we can handle this........ And then you get to the last boss, Arena of carnage and chaos...
Hands down the best dungeons guides on the internet. Stoked for the dueling boss.. I might have to save my cooldowns for that mechanic :D
Ran this for the first time tonight on mythic 2. I’m glad I watched your video first! I remembered some of it but it was crazy fun!
I have mentioned from time to time about how I was not going to purchase SL....well some Wild Turkey and 1 drunk purchase later, opted for the Epic edition.
My always go to guides for any WOW related content..keep it up Hazel, you are the best.
You might just have heard this quite a bit, but these guides are EFing AWESOME!
Tanked my first run of Theater of Pain and some these Boss Mechanics i wasn’t even aware of. But more aware because if this video guide.
Best dungeon guides ever!!!!
Hazel, you're my new favorite WoW UA-camr

Your guides are the best Hazel!

It's working on hc, I'll try it on mythic now
Can’t wait for Shadowlands 😀 this dungeon looks cool! Thanks for video.
These videos are so incredibly good
Awesome guide as always Hazel! Thank you!
Yay Hazel dungeon guides!
Great summary. Thanks for testing which boss abilities are insta-gibs.
Just discovered u today, you're awesome and I love your guides!
Youre awesome hazel! thanks for all your insight on these dungeons! you have a great way of describing all the situations!
This is what sets Hazel apart from the rest - you can always count on the fact that she has checked every instadeath mechanic herself to ensure a personal guarantee of impeccable accuracy.
As always, great guide, loved it!
"again - i checked".
Your guide got me raged at lol. The ability that draws your soul, you have to catch in the green hands by standing just behind them. Love the guides but maybe update them 😅
idk why but calling one of the council bosses "Papa Plague" is one of the funniest things i've heard sldkjg

Anyway thanks for the guides!
I love you Hazel, ty so much for the vids. LEGEND.
Otherwise known as "We will wipe your key"
Yay for Hazel helping my poor butt through Shadowlands
straight to the point, sick.
your healing addon is very nice; which is it?

Hi hazel! I appreciate your guides
Another great guide. TY.

An absorb shield you say? Would be a shame if a class just got back a way to break through those........
*Shattering Throw*
*laughs in Arms Warrior

I LOVE your videos
You strike me as someone that would main a NE
u need to update the mech again for draw soul
Do priests with the legion holy artifact transmogged still have tuure the nasty show up? If so, that's so cool
i really like you guides
for draw souls on the kul'tharok fight, you need to stand so that the green puddles are between you and the boss. the puddle will catch your soul.
on Kul'Tharok I've seen people stand in the hands for when their soul is drawn but not sure if its necessary since you can just run after it
i literally know most of what hazel is gonan say couple days before her videos, but i still watch them coz i love listenign to her talk..where can i go simp for her?
Hunters can dispel entrages as well.
Anyone notice the "satchel" that flashed in the video at 1:28 or 1:29? Lol
When doing the pvp for the 3rd boss, will dots wear off? Like let’s say it’s a rouge vs a warrior, will the warrior loos the dots after they’ve won/lost?
I am the kinda guy who saves all my CDs to pop them when I am dueling a party member during the boss fight. =]
"I'm not saying I'd rather kill you than the boss, but remember when you won the roll on that mount? This is just karma balancing out."
thank you found it very useful
Ty for these
hi what add ons are you using please
What is your favorite class?
you are awesome thx for your vids
This boss is probably the hardest default boss, wonder how M+ is gonna treat this one
Its hell. We finished a +6 with 102 deaths when we first attempted XD
I wish Hazel would play classic on bloodsail buccaneers
Did this dungeon on mythic with some friends and we were all under 150 Ilvl. It was rough but that last boss was just awful for us, 19 wipes until we got it. Healer and tank just couldn’t get those charges down
Also should include how to use the dang portal.
is this true that SL tailor don't have bag to sew?
amazing
Thank you
Kul'Tharok edit: you can trap your soul if you stand behind the spawning hands. Gets rid of the hands and makes it easier to get your soul :)
running this in mythic plus PUB's is a nightmare no one prioritises the adds on the last boss
Thanks
“I tried it and it’s bad for your skin” honey pain is beauty sometimes 😂
Any good dungeon guides that explain trash?
Man those dungeon bosses are starting to look like raid bosses with all those mechanics
😍😍😍😍
i just royally fucked up in a +5 ToP (i was sure i knew all the mechanics) so im here and shame-studying.
Satchel. I see what you did there lol
looks like Skeletor
