The greatest thing about this video? You and your son putting in the time, together. Let him know how important that is for you and for his children to come.
Yes. My Daughter and I play Music together and once in awhile she will come play a few tunes at one of my gigs. She's 13. That time together is priceless to me
Thanks for sharing ............. music selection and all. Loved it. You may not have intended it to be a tutorial but it certainly inspired. Again thanks
I enjoy watching videos of a father and son spending quality time together..building things...I wish my old man was still around to do the same..great video brother
Hola! Thank you for sharing this build and your ideas on how to build it. I think it looks really, really good and it appears to be very sturdy as well. I'm just a few short weeks away from building one for myself and as I'm searching for videos, I came across your video. I'll check out more of your videos next. My favorite is that your son is there with you, that is the best. Congratulations and thank you for passing on the skills an knowledge to the next generation. Take care and have a good one, Adios!👊
Nice build. Happy to see one of these with the saw I own, instead of dewalt. Cool to work with your son. Good camera work and editing. Liked your music selection too. No hard metal guitar riffs is appreciated.. You probably haven't used it enough yet, but anything you'd change? Subscribed-keep up the good work!
I don't know what I'd change. I'll probably make a follow up video. But I'd like to add a bit of space above the table saw controls. To be able to use a crosscut sled I have from tickler. I'll probably add a bit more things in the future like an undermount router. I'll have to think about it
Same here. The Bosch Metabo and Dewalt type saws seem to be the consensus picks for top of the line jobsite style TS, but it can be a challenge to find as much content out there for the metabo & bosch, especially in the US. Both great small shop saws, but the heft, table size, and power of the bosch impressed me, and I had recently purchased and experienced their axial glide dream of a miter saw. Think I’m just a Bosch fanboy
Nice build and good design, i must admit tho when i saw you with that black stain im shouting at the screen "don't do it" .Not the look I'd have gone for but hey we're all different 👍
I cant turn it any more unless I cut the top for the fence rails, but my thought is to incorporate a rounder table on the other end in the near future.
was laughing so hard when you tried to get the bottom plate in. I was thinking they have to cut that plate for sure, theres no way its gonna go in otherwise XD
Muchas gracias hombre.
It's 3 ft wide and 6 ft long. Height, I made it to what's comfortable for me. I'm 5'11". Try the height of your kitchen counter. See if that's comfortable with it. If not, lower it, but you don't want to make it to hight. Topically at your waist is perfect
Thanks brother. It’s a Grizzly G0869 - 10" 2 HP Benchtop Table Saw. It’s noises levels are normal. Not too bad. It works very good though. Very accurate and will accept dado
Im a fan!! First time seeing ur video, great bench design... im also a woodworker on utube, i think il have to use Black melamine on my bench aswell, iv been trying to get the laminate alone, but its difficult to find in my area code
I love your design for a mobile work table. The color puts it in a class of its own. Why did you decide to have the one brace on the middle bottom shelf. could you just put a 2x4 across and free up space on the bottom shelf. Just an idea. Great job overall!!!
Are you left handed? I work with the longer piece always to my left, so my dominant hand it closest to blade for control (either with sled or pushstick). Nice work, though!
You can. But my garage was studs only. So that's what I did. If you're going to put it over the drywall, make sure to look for the studs @@cesaralves6136
Nice build. I have the same saw and was looking for a good table build.. one question though, what was your reasoning for not giving it more room on the left side of the blade? When I use the saw I always seem to need a little more room on that side..keep up the good work..
Why is the table saw in that orientation, isn't the point of putting it into a table to get length to support rip cuts. This looks very nice but I don't get it.
Thanks brother. I see your point. In my situation. I will be doing small projects a lot. This way I can use it in place without moving the whole table around for these small projects. When I need room for ripcuts I plan to have outfeed rolls. Also, on the right side of the table, I plan to install a router table insert.

Gran trabajo! I'm getting the same saw and was looking for ideas for a bench. Perfect timing. I'm now a subscriber. Gracias from Northern Virginia.
Awsome. It's a great saw. Buena suerte
Very nice! You and your son make a great team! Don't forget to make a cutout for the miter gauge to slide across the table surface behind the saw.
Yes. Thanks brother. I wanted to get the video out. But yes. Thanks for that
Nice build. Glad to see your son helping out, wish my father had been like you. LOVE the Mini ( I'm a Brit 😁)

no. But it would have been better.
What are the final outside dimensions of your table?

3ft wide. 6ft long. 😊
Nice work guys! Hey Luis , is that wood paneling on your garage walls? Looking for some ideas for my garage walls.
Thanks. Yes it's shiplap. I love it for my garage. And I never have to look for a stud when I hang something
So you put the shiplap right to the studs? I have drywall and was thinking of putting the shiplap over it. Not sure yet though.@@Luisquezadacreations

I thought it was enough. No specific reason. I think I need to think about a way to get more space above the controller though.
Yeah I was thinking that when I build the table I will add a new power on/off button closer the side…I don’t really adjust the speed that often.
Buen trabajo.

Sorry, looks like a nice project, but I could not stand the annoying background music. Just talk, have the tool sounds, or do a voiceover.
