You know the weirdest thing about the American healthcare system? Despite not having universal coverage, the US actually spends MORE on healthcare expenditures than most countries with universal healthcare. You're paying more for less, WAY more for shockingly less. It's the ripoff of the millennia. With the trillions that the US government is pumping into health care, Americans should be getting WAY more than what they're getting right now.
Had he lived, he would’ve been forced out of his own company eventually. You see what the people that ran the company ended up doing after he passed away. They’ve gotten a little bit better now, I think. But in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s it was just awful there. Even today though, they’ve completely lost their way from what they started out as. They used to be the absolute best place to get the best deals, no one even came close to competing. Now, competitor prices are just as good in most areas and if not better in some areas. The days before the SuperCenters ruled the world, when it was just a regular Walmart with the small snack areas in them. Those were the best.
