Crunchy Potato yeah the guy gong through the entire video responding to the people asking if they could be quiet isn't triggered at all oh no but the fucker just trying to hear the dialogue written by my personal hero Justin Roiland is one that's triggered totally
God, I WISH the dialogue for this game wasn't so quiet so I could hear what the game characters say more. I'm not sure how it is with headphones, but with desktop speakers, It just isn't enough.
Oh yesss... NerdCubed really nailed a video on that focusing on an actual entertainment that was added on top of the game's narration, not like AH did, TRYING to be entertaining.
It's classic AH (talking over stuff and whatnot) - although what I was thinking the entire time this is the most I've ever noticed them quiet down during in-game dialogue.
I would have died if they gave him a fake pistol in real life after he took off the headset, and asked him to cross back into the real world because he's been in this VR simulation for years.
Crunchy Potato lol what? Backtracking? Clarification doesn't imply he was backpedaling. You really gotta reach to try to read his initial comment as negative on the video. He just said he wanted to hear the ingame audio more clearly. That is a minor critique at best.
it's like most of the people complaining about it even tho I heard most of what they were talking about it... i heard all the good bits and that's fine with me I don't gotta complain about it like everyone... this was another good lets play
Crunchy Potato Hmm didn't realize that offering a criticism was considered crying? I stated my opinion, and closed off of the video, and if you don't like that you can fuck right off of the comment section, as this is kind of what it was originally intended for.
Crunchy Potato Clearly you aren't grasping the point, so there's no use continuing this any further. Do me a favor though, google the word criticism and rethink your stupidity.
Crunchy Potato Jesus you're still going on? Like... you waited a whole 24 hours of not getting a response *after i told you there was no point carrying this on* and then decided to continue crying in the comment section? Move on dude, this is getting pathetic y'butthurt fanboy.
+S2MH Nah, after they recover they start going on like "Holy shit, that guy just poured acid on us! He's trying to kill us! This guy's crazy! What the hell?!" Stuff like that.
This game was so fun to play. Felt like you were playing a Rick and Morty episode sans Rick and Morty. The writers voice really shows through, carrying over from the show to this game.
Lmao you've literally replied to every comment trying to say something funny. You're just saying the same thing over and over with slightly different wording. Is that all that you do with your life? I've read "Have a cry" enough times in the last 2 minutes to last me a fucking lifetime.
I'm really glad that we the audience didn't get to share your experience since we could only hear a few tidbits of the entire dialogue. Thanks for continuing being incompetent AH. Much appreciated.
Crunchy Potato says the fucker who came back twice to continuing commenting within a week and yeah no I'm not but hurt but you on the other hand who went around and responded at least over 7 times to people now that's what I call butt hurt
Loved the demo yet really disliked jack playing it. he never listened, kept talking over them and fucking about. I feel like Michael would of been the best for this, he really appreciates this kind of humor. Fucking love rick and morty
The thing you two don't seem to understand is that the only reason Michael kept fucking around was because it was out of his control at that point . If HE was the one playing. He would of stood there and listened. Learn the difference between criticism and bitching, you delusional fanboy. [T]7
No I DO understand that was part of the reason, but given what I've seen from the FNAF Sister Location videos, Michael isn't a much better choice. Hell, he and Gavin missed half the audio cues because they were talking too damn much. Granted Michael listened to the dialogue more than Jack did in this video, his rather excessive laughing over the rest of the dialogue didn't help. Maybe YOU should learn how to properly state your point without coming off as a pretentious douche next time.
Pretentious? Not really, I just stated my opinion in an open and honest way. I'm not going to sugar coat something so people don't get their feelings hurt for being over sensitive. While I understand what you're trying to say, and I'm glad you're open to have a discussion instead of it being a back and forth. You gave a very bad example of Michael; he has openly stated many times that he doesn't give two fucks about five nights series in general. Do I think that he was the best for that video series? I still do, considering the dynamics of his and gavin's relationship. That's their whole stick.
They ALL skip over a lot of dialogue and talk over each other in general, I have the feeling you only bring this up because it's Jack in control, and that's just nitpicky. Just enjoy the video like everyone else; if you want to hear the dialogue in it's entirety then watch other people's playthrough of it, or just buy a Vive yourself if it's such a problem to you. Complaining that Jack is talking over it is like complaining Michael's being loud or Gavin's being annoying; they ALL do it anyway, no matter who is in the reigns. And it's not like they stay quiet and listen to the dialogue anyway if someone else swaps places. I do agree that the talking over audio is a problem, but it's rather bitchy if you only focus on one person. They were ALL talking over each other.
The thing about talking over this game is that it's something you have to do. There's almost non-stop dialogue in this game. And while it would have been nice to hear a bit more of the game I've seen people wait for a while and it just doesn't stop with dialogue
If you're familiar with NerdCubed, I think he covered this game really well. He did a good job of getting into character and getting immersed in the game
SillyWillySandoon He did, and I really enjoyed that. But there are too many people here complaining about AH talking too much, which is hard for them not to do with so many people on the show
Bryden O'Neill Agreed. The way they have the show set up it wouldn't work to be sat there listening to every word of the game. I would argue that, while I did enjoy the video, this game isn't ideal for this kind of show. It works much better with a single person rather than having multiple people commentating over the game and talking to each other
SillyWillySandoon I agree. It wasn't a great choice but it was still enjoyable. But I think that people were complaining just for the sake of complaining
Right. Let's just max out the voice over audio for no apparent reason. I understand that they're the content creators but if it's a narrative driven game why on earth would that be a good idea.
I love Achievement Hunter in WTF situations. Just the funniest thing is Jeremy, Michael, and Ryan in the background. Jack just took it all in stride. LOL
SupremeLordEmperorMajorGeneralMarshallAdmiralUltimateCommanderofTheSouthPole, King of the Penguins. I think this is the longest fucking UA-cam username I have seen.
The amount of dialogue that correlated to what Jack did was insane. It felt like his actions caused specific responses and that there are probably branches of dialogue and actions that we don't see because of him doing something different. This is the first game where I felt like it was actually reacting to what the player was doing rather than a scripted event. I could see VR interactive episodes becoming a thing.
Its kinda amazing how Jack failed to listen to almost all of the intro sequence yet heard the only parts he needed to continue the game. Kudos to you sir.
RtnGaming well, some heartwarming moments, words of hope and Matt Hullum playing his guitar and singing Hallelujah. An absolutely brilliant end to a brilliant live stream
Game literally based in 100% on narration. No one cares about it. Next time they should do a Let's Play of a no-graphic text based RPG and they shouldn't read the text.
Crunchy Potato it's a narrative based game, it's not too enjoyable when they laugh at something you can't hear. And stop liking your own comments, it's petty.
I wish they flipped over the marker board. When you do it once it shows some bonus things and when you flip it a third time there is a face with Dan Harmon's voice that talks for like forever and it's freaking hilarious.
I've been super excited about the potential of VR but i feel like no more than a few games are anything but demos, THIS makes me want to put down the bones for a headset.
Crunchy Potato How about no? I like their personalities and enjoy their commentary "bro". They've played several games where they didn't talk over absolutely everything and even now I wasn't hating on the video I was just making a mild critique. Despite your strange assumption constructive criticism is useful and "hur hur you don't like it, get out" isn't.
Yup. Nice they could play a narrative-heavy story from one of the funniest writers in the world right now and completely talk over and ignore the dialogue.
I knew that was going to happen. This is different in that the whole point is about listening to them. They stopped talking so much as it went on though, they just didn't know it was that kind of game from the start.
I enjoyed the video, I'm sorry that you didn't but that doesn't give you the right to go off on everyone who doesn't feel the same way you do. I've watched AH videos for a long time, and I've done that because I enjoy their style, talking over dialogue and all. If it isn't a style you like, fine, watch someone else, but don't be an asshole about it.
The only thing I hate about these VR episodes is that every time the mic is a little off someone who isn't playing will heavily insist on the fact that the mic isn't working. I get the whole sound quality thing but just cut all that talk of fixing the mic out and actually fix it. Damn.
Here's how this game is like accounting. You have assets and liabilities. Your assets were the vr headsets and liabilities were the worlds you were in. The worlds were greater than the headsets though so you had to balance the books by destroying the worlds and extra headsets. In the end you end up with a balanced book. So that's some way to rationalize it.
For those of you wondering: Achievement Hunter's objective is to create their own content. They aren't one of those youtube channels who just listen silently to a game and then say "haha that's funny." The reason Achievement Hunter talks over stuff is so that they have something different and original. If you just post another video of you watching a game, that's exactly like everybody else's video of that game, then nobody will like it.
This is one of the rare occasions where I actually had to find different gameplay to hear the game, they really should've lowered the microphone audio for this one
Thank you squanchtendo & Justin Roiland for finally bringing this to PSVR (and with double the content) I can’t wait to finally experience it myself. Hopefully virtual rick-ality will be next.
"Just listen" - Michael
Best quote in the entire video
o.o I wasn't even triggered. Holy shit xD
Crunchy Potato yeah the guy gong through the entire video responding to the people asking if they could be quiet isn't triggered at all oh no but the fucker just trying to hear the dialogue written by my personal hero Justin Roiland is one that's triggered totally
"Oh, yeah, tell it to the judge"
"That's exactly what I'm doing, you're the fucking judge"
This is probably the best VR game they've played yet.
And by that, I mean it's the most let's-play friendly game they've played.
SebHighDef no it was great shut up
God, I WISH the dialogue for this game wasn't so quiet so I could hear what the game characters say more. I'm not sure how it is with headphones, but with desktop speakers, It just isn't enough.
Crab Man look up Nerdcubed, he did a video on this game as well.
Oh yesss... NerdCubed really nailed a video on that focusing on an actual entertainment that was added on top of the game's narration, not like AH did, TRYING to be entertaining.
You guys were right, I watched his video, and it really shows how amazing this game truly is. AH kinda ruined it.
It's classic AH (talking over stuff and whatnot) - although what I was thinking the entire time this is the most I've ever noticed them quiet down during in-game dialogue.
It's definitely better with headphones, otherwise it's too difficult to hear the dialogue over the AH talk
Literally half of this play through is Michael and Ryan yelling at Jack to listen
I THOUGHT THIS GAME WAS GOING TO BE ABOUT BEING AN ACCOUNTANT.
Lyndon Gordon What do you mean? This is exactly what accountants do.
Skeleton Then I must be taking the wrong classes hahaha
First time I watched this, I may have stopped about two minutes in
As someone who's a senior year accounting student, this is pretty close
I would have died if they gave him a fake pistol in real life after he took off the headset, and asked him to cross back into the real world because he's been in this VR simulation for years.
It would be even better if they were all in T-poses when he took the goggles off.
man, i really wanted to hear the game audio in this.
Robbaz did a good vid, go watch that if you want to hear
uh yeah, wasn't complaining, more praising the game, huge rick n morty fan, not sure what the hostility is about.
Crunchy Potato dude you are really friggin annoying
Low expectations but turned into one of best VRs
that took a turn
It took like seven turns lol
I really wish they had the game volume turned up for games like this. It's impossible to hear anything over all of them talking.
i doesnt matter just watch an episode of rick and morty and youll be able to guess what their saying its just broken sentences throughout the episodes
i PHoeNiK No dumbass
You do realize that when he shoots himself he goes ¨out ¨ of another layer of VR and comes back to the ¨real¨ world... meta AF
MrLeonacha oh wow
"I count 30 CDs" oh my garsh Jeremy I love you
My favorite was when Jeremy imitated the sun and said "Hello Jack"
WolfyTheCryptic Yas!
can confirm this is how accounting is
scorpiosniper88 Accounting is a little more exciting than this.
lol
The voice acting in this game is amazing.
Jack you were amazing this RT_Extra life 2016, you and Caiti were amazing!
Also CONGRATULATIONS Michael and Lindsay! I wish you both the best!
Dhaval Bhawani what's up with Micheal and Lindsay?
An Extra Life on the way for the Jones Household
josh brown Lindsay knocked up Michael.
Dammit Jack why didn't you flip the whiteboard!
because he's gay
JUST KIDDING
+Anti-Brdgette Community I don't know, he did seem pretty happy.
SuddenReal yeah its a funny video game
...
Would've been nice if they'd paid attention to the dialogue, seeing as how that's what the whole game is about.. wont be finishing this one.
They stop talking as much as time goes on, but this isn't a good game to commentate over.
Crunchy Potato sometimes people want to watch their favorite youtubers pay attention to a game and not try to be entertaining all the time.
Crunchy Potato Hmm didn't realize that offering a criticism was considered crying?
I stated my opinion, and closed off of the video, and if you don't like that you can fuck right off of the comment section, as this is kind of what it was originally intended for.

Like... you waited a whole 24 hours of not getting a response *after i told you there was no point carrying this on* and then decided to continue crying in the comment section?
Move on dude, this is getting pathetic y'butthurt fanboy.
As someone who is studying to be an accountant, I can say this is a 100% true experience.
Wait what would've happened if he killed the skeletons instead of himself?
The skeletons wouldn't melt, they're actually enjoy it and say things like "oh, that's hot!" with gargling sounds and such ;)
S2MH
+S2MH Nah, after they recover they start going on like "Holy shit, that guy just poured acid on us! He's trying to kill us! This guy's crazy! What the hell?!" Stuff like that.
It plays acid house
When they come out with a house building game Jack will be unbeatable.
This game was so fun to play. Felt like you were playing a Rick and Morty episode sans Rick and Morty. The writers voice really shows through, carrying over from the show to this game.
So no one shuts the fuck up for more than 2 seconds in rick and morty, either? Fantastic.
Lmao you've literally replied to every comment trying to say something funny. You're just saying the same thing over and over with slightly different wording. Is that all that you do with your life? I've read "Have a cry" enough times in the last 2 minutes to last me a fucking lifetime.
"you sodium puffy fuck". My favorite part by far.
This was so much better than I could have possibly expected.
I love this so much.
I love Jack's play style in this and the panicked manner he behaved in with the bomb.
I think this is my favourite VR game they've played
Haha its like michael popped out of the tree
"If the crown doesn't fit, then you must let my client go, your Honor." yooo, that Johnny Cochran reference at 10:00 tho.
I laughed at " Fuck you! this is my place. "
i wonder how many times Michael said "What the fuck?" .
Like 25 times??
Loved the demo yet really disliked jack playing it. he never listened, kept talking over them and fucking about. I feel like Michael would of been the best for this, he really appreciates this kind of humor. Fucking love rick and morty
Dude Michael talked just as much if not more than Jack did during this video, and a lot of it was during dialogue.
The thing you two don't seem to understand is that the only reason Michael kept fucking around was because it was out of his control at that point . If HE was the one playing. He would of stood there and listened.

Bryden O'Neill The UA-cam commenters sure do love to bitch
0:23 CABOOSE WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE
Is this what the guys from Rick and Morty have been up to for a year and a half? If so, well done.
I never realized how much I was missing in my life until I saw this.
They have to play this when the full game is out
on games like this i wish they would turn up the game volume
so obviously they need to make more of these games
I LOVE the genuine surprise Jack had when he turned and saw the king in the dungeon.
This game was FUCKING fantastic. I would've liked to hear more of the dialogue and less Jack fucking around.
Really wish I knew why they were laughing...
Yeah, seems like a funny game, but it just doesn't work for let's plays with commentary, like you don't know jack
Right. Let's just max out the voice over audio for no apparent reason. I understand that they're the content creators but if it's a narrative driven game why on earth would that be a good idea.
Yeah. If you don't like bad content, stop watching bad content! God! It's like you want a quality video made using intelligent decisions!
Crunchy Potato yes, that is what they do, and we are kindly voicing that it might not work with this game
Dude you're letting that guy take up WAY too much of your time. Live your own life man, you'll be happier.
I love Achievement Hunter in WTF situations. Just the funniest thing is Jeremy, Michael, and Ryan in the background. Jack just took it all in stride. LOL
dammit this is the one game where i'd rahter here the dialogue than AH themselves.
SupremeLordEmperorMajorGeneralMarshallAdmiralUltimateCommanderofTheSouthPole, King of the Penguins. especially cuz this game is 95% dialog 5% gameplay
SupremeLordEmperorMajorGeneralMarshallAdmiralUltimateCommanderofTheSouthPole, King of the Penguins. I think this is the longest fucking UA-cam username I have seen.
by far one of the best games i have ever seen

This is the first game where I felt like it was actually reacting to what the player was doing rather than a scripted event. I could see VR interactive episodes becoming a thing.
That thing that came out of the tree reminds me of Michael when he says fuck you
The dialogue of this game is SO chaotic - I love it so much :D
I like how it says "Rock" in the URL
@1:08 Ben Affleck was the Accountant, Ryan. Not Ben Stiller.
Macephtopheles pretty sure it was a joke...bro
Its kinda amazing how Jack failed to listen to almost all of the intro sequence yet heard the only parts he needed to continue the game. Kudos to you sir.
Everyone's bitching about Jack not paying attention, but they conviently ignore the fact that all the other AH members do the same when they play
Any one else super mad, they
didn't show Jack take off his
last VR head set?
Someone start a fucking petition I need more!
this is, by far, the craziest game I have ever seen.
I just came from Extra Life and I'm still emotional. I need to watch my favourite people play a unyielding game to calm me own
What the fuck? Why did "funny" autocorrect to "unyielding"?
RtnGaming well, some heartwarming moments, words of hope and Matt Hullum playing his guitar and singing Hallelujah. An absolutely brilliant end to a brilliant live stream
Game literally based in 100% on narration. No one cares about it. Next time they should do a Let's Play of a no-graphic text based RPG and they shouldn't read the text.
Crunchy Potato it's a narrative based game, it's not too enjoyable when they laugh at something you can't hear.
And stop liking your own comments, it's petty.
Shut up and play the game yourself, they aren't the only ones who played this game
I wonder how long it will take everyone to realize they can be an accountant outside of VR.
Well after crying at the end of Extra Life, I need to watch this to make me even happier.
This is the greatest VR game of all time.
Jack, you don't need to throw items in VR around just because Gavin and Jeremy do it
qwertyismymom Gavin and Jeremy dont need to throw stuff around because people before them do
Is that not the first thing you do in vr? figure out what stuff you can pick up ad then see how far you can chuck it?
Crunchy Potato Just a little cranky boy because he doesn't like comments. Ahh got to love a cry baby!
This was not what I was expecting with the title 'Accounting'. It was much, much better.
After now having watched Rick & Morty, this is even better
this NEEDS to be a full game. so fucking funny.
This games fucking gold, just wish they had talked over less of it, get its hard for this kind of format
Crunchy Potato
How about no? I like their personalities and enjoy their commentary "bro". They've played several games where they didn't talk over absolutely everything and even now I wasn't hating on the video I was just making a mild critique.
Despite your strange assumption constructive criticism is useful and "hur hur you don't like it, get out" isn't.
i wish i could actually hear it
plot twist: at the end, jack took the headset off and thought he was still in VR... he will be missed
This is the exact kind of video game we all need right now
It usually doesn't get to me but they consistently ignore dialogue whenever they play games that aren't like a full play. It's pretty annoying
Yup. Nice they could play a narrative-heavy story from one of the funniest writers in the world right now and completely talk over and ignore the dialogue.
Yea, they rushed through so much that made this amazing. Was aggravating to watch.
Is this what theatre mode is like? Cuz if so I don't see the appeal
That was hilarious. I want a full game and full play so badly.
The xylophone was my favorite part. Actually good at it.
The judge's face after he kills the little guy is my favorite part 😭
The only thing I hate about these VR episodes is that every time the mic is a little off someone who isn't playing will heavily insist on the fact that the mic isn't working. I get the whole sound quality thing but just cut all that talk of fixing the mic out and actually fix it. Damn.
Crunchy Potato Have a cry buddy.
7:45 IM DONE 😂😂
Here's how this game is like accounting. You have assets and liabilities. Your assets were the vr headsets and liabilities were the worlds you were in. The worlds were greater than the headsets though so you had to balance the books by destroying the worlds and extra headsets. In the end you end up with a balanced book.
So that's some way to rationalize it.
Holy shit, it's Rick and Morty's spin-off VR game!
"You're Ben Stiller!" Ryan ruined my existence with that mix-up lmao
They really should get a greenscreen behind the player, like Conan had when he visited UA-cam! Looked amazing!
Less commentary, more listening. Its soooooo funny
+Crunchy Potato So there's nothing funny in this video, gotcha. Thanks for the warning.
@ 11:23 it wasn't summer it was the voice of the purge planet girl.
Arthricia?
Yeah. Not Summer like Jack said. Played by Chelsea Kane of Disney fame.
That was pretty incredible!
I think this game is how you program would-be-assassins, or create a run-of-the-mill psychopath, but I could be wrong.
On the back of the first VR goggles Jack put on was a Funhaus logo. Sweet shout out to Funhaus there
This is one of the rare occasions where I actually had to find different gameplay to hear the game, they really should've lowered the microphone audio for this one
I heard about this game! Makes me want to get a VR setup just for this.
So I watched this ages ago and hadn't watched Rick and Morty but now having seen up to season 3 episode 1 this is so much more enjoyable XD
You're inside a simulation, inside ANOTHER simulation, inside a VR game!!
Thank you squanchtendo & Justin Roiland for finally bringing this to PSVR (and with double the content) I can’t wait to finally experience it myself. Hopefully virtual rick-ality will be next.
the died with the 1st "Fuck You" hahahahahahha
So Jack was accounting for his actions.
The only way that game could be better is if you died at the end and had to take off your actual VR headset to get back to real life
This is the greatest VR the Champions ever!
Justin Roiland is a fucking legend. This was excellent!
It's hilarious watching someone else play this game. I had such a panic attack playing it at first. Lol
this is a kangaroo kourt
This is like my new favorite game ever.
So who else watched this like 6 times back to back and still laughed their dicks off?
