All that development in Jaco in the past thirty years and not one thing has been done to improve or even slightly change the infrastructure of what is done with the sewage or garbage overall just something to keep in mind while enjoying the ocean especially after rainy season highly recommend ear plugs for starters Be safe and enjoy

Don't surf in Jaco! that bay is disgusting... There are literally dozens of better surf spots within a few minutes drive
