Oh dear, this may be the third deck I am purchasing thanks to you. When each card is on its own, it is intriguing, but layering it just puts it over the top for me. Thank you for your lovely videos. I have to add this random bit: since I found you, I have had a song playing in the back of my head every time I watch one of your videos. Today I finally realized that it is the theme song from an old kid show called Simon and the Land of Chalk Drawings. Obviously, you have a name in common and a similar accent, but I think the main reason is I remember it as a very sweet, gentle, and warm program and I get the same energy from you.
This has been on my wishlist for a long time waiting for it's release. ....half way through your walkthrough I paused and ordered it!Very enjoyable and informative review as always. Namaste 🙏✳️

Did you notice much of a difference between the first and second edition? In the quality and look of the cards? I'm trying to figure out the difference between both decks.
This was a while ago now, I’ll try and remember to take a look. What I do remember is the fact that the first cards are very greasy and they seriously improve that on the second edition

My copy arrived yesterday and I LOVE it! Easy decision to enter it into my top 10 tarot decks. Awaiting arrival of the Transparent Oracle (impatiently!). Great walk through Simon thank you :-)

Hello @The Hermit's Cave and all, Thank you so much for this review. I have some questions and would love to know your opinions ^^! The layering and combination to create different spreads in so many ways is really cool. It would be interesting if we use this deck to read face-to-face/directly for other people, especially the strangers and the ones who do not know much about tarot, as they would pick up and lay out the cards freely and randomly. However, if we are doing it on-line, and we would pick and lay out the cards on behalf of our clients, then how should we do it? :D Because when we can see each card clearly, our own preferences would affect the reading, since the cards are not cover with a back. Or shall we wear a blindfold :D or should this deck be used for manifestations, divinations, and meditations only?
For me if somebody is buying a three card spread I would lay all three on top. If it was a nine card spread I would still do the three in the middle for the current position, the three at the top for the future outcome and the three at the bottom for the shadow, or that which we are not conscious of.
I've been wanting this deck since it came out! But with many decks I've wanted they go out of print before I can afford them. I'm glad it's out again !! Are any of the cards changed from the 1st edition?

The new edition looks like a huge improvement to the first which I found impossible to use. I would love to see this layered with Tarot of the Sidhe.

A lot more smooth and without the grease, plus to me the drawings seem more vibrant
