A new love life, a new classmate and new reasons to bicker with mom give Devi plenty more ways to make courageous moves... and questionable decisions. - Розваги
"You've never exercised before?"
"Not intentionally, no."
me in a nutshell :
Haha, me too, I only exercise my mind! 😂
Me too
Just like people who intentionally wake up every morning to exercise, I’ve never understood them.
We kinda share a name
yes
Okay but why is Kamala so underrated like she's stunning and funny asf
I agree, I was actually more invested in Kamala and Nalini's stories than most of the teens' this season!
She is the reason I started watching the show
Exactly she is damn stunning
@@trinaq whats the full form of asf
@@aishwaryaaanand767 it’s commonly used as AF but some people say asf as well, either way works
Anyway it stands for as f*ck
Devi is so problematic but she’s my comfort character and I love her so much
literally yes even after everything she’s done i still love her lmao
Well, her heart is in the right place. (Not me making excuses for loving her.)
@@sakshimaheshwari8683 samee, I always make excuses for justifying my love for her 😂
She is problematic but at the same time I pity her, I hope her behavior gets better as the show goes on
Devi wasn't problematic at all. She's so self-centered and didn't really know who she wants and thats normal with teens now. On the other hand, I feel Paxton gave her a dance out of pity and guilt also pretended to be her bf just for the dance for Devi helping him out with his studies, smart move tho. Let's wait and see what's gonna happen after the dance. Paxton will definitely mess up and call her "Pal"😁. Am feeling for Ben anyways, he'll always be my guy. One advice for Ben, he should move on coz it's obvious Devi will always be with Paxton.
"oh wow this book has not been open before" I'm DEAD 🤣
Haha, me too, best Devi Line! 🤣
I FIND YOU EVERYWHERE LMAO
😂😂👏🏾HAHAHA
@@shiningjust4youuu ikr I was just about to say this
the scene where her and paxton are stuying in her room is so natural. like the rapping thingy and all is so like what would happen. i thought it was just super relatable when studying with a friend.
this show deffo gets teens flirting right
@@daftbanna7202 deffo? 💀 uhh I haven’t heard any teen say that lol
@@lpsdestiny9008 it's a british thing
@@lpsdestiny9008 wait americans don’t say defo??? woah
@Ridzzz226 as an American, I can confirm that we don't say that lmao
I’m not Indian, but I’m Middle Eastern and black and I can relate to Devi so much!
Same but I'm just black
Same but for the being the weird girl at school part
Devi is Brown
@@Rootofasphodel yes I kn she is Tamil..not Indian.. srilankan Tamil
@@csePraveenKumarB nope. devi is an indian tamil character. it was mentioned several times
I saw a comment on Twitter that’s so true “ you want to hate her but then you remember she’s a grieving teen” 😭
Funnily enough when me and my friend were watching Season 1, my friend made the point about what an ass Devi was being to her friends and how she thought her drama was the only drama happening, and while I agreed with my friend, I very much added the caveat that unfortunately for a grieving teen not dealing with it in a healthy way, that is exactly how grieving teens act like. I should know I was one.
@@everyonelovesdee I was also a grieving teen and while I was the complete opposite of devi (basically just shut down) I understand her completely and stand by her as she makes mistakes and realises that later. People hate her because she’s messy but what is the point of having perfect characters?? What would be the point of the show?? This is literally for entertainment purposes. Actually I think I’d hate her if she was a perfect character, cos I know personally that there’s no way in hell a grieving 15 year old is gonna be anything close to a saint.
@@beepboop8276 Definitely, everytime I see her make a stupid mistake I wish she wouldn't and yet I see where that train of through originated. I thankfully was never like Devi, in that I didn't make rash decision, but it was definitely tough being my friend from ages 11 to 18.
When this series first premiered all I remember thinking was this show it 20 years too late for me, as most tv shows either had happy families (a la Seventh Heaven or Gilmore girls) or children having divorced parents, it was if having a deceased parent wasn't a thing.
@@everyonelovesdee I agree. A show like never have I ever is way overdue for teens who lost a parent.
I think in part it’s also because her actions aren’t excused or seen as okay. She has actual repercussions
She is amazing. Finally a character who acts like a real person
And humanises Asians
@@Wafiya35 yeah that’s super important
ikr
@@user-nw5hf4np1b she is Indian from south 🙏🏼🚩🕉️

I feel like no one has noticed how much Devi has improved in season 2. Like sure she was selfish and problematic in some scenes, but she was such a good friend this season. She was actually there for Eleanor and Fabiola and helped them through their problems. In the first season, Devi chose to help Paxton over Eleanor when her mom left. But in the second season, she chose to help Aneesa and try to do the right thing in that situation rather than help Paxton study. She supported Eleanor in the play and through her toxic relationship with Malcolm, helped Fabiola during the dance, and helped Aneesa stay at the school. And like her narrator said, she literally went from offering her virginity to Paxton to walking away from him because he wasn't giving her what she wanted. She definitely was not the best girlfriend, but she knew what she did was wrong and showed genuine remorse for her actions, and she suffered consequences. No one forgave her right away, and they made her earn it. I just love Devi so much ahhhh
Underrated comment!
Totally the most underrated comment
I m waiting for 3 sesons
Now, that's all encompassing outlook
Tbh,I love the show. It shows serious problems, is kinda relatable in a few scenes, there are a few twists, just for some ✨spice✨ and mostly the character development!
"She did crazy Beyonce hair flip, and she didn't even showered him with dandruff"
Ahhh, I'm dead 😂😂
Remember how Paxton smells her rubber band and says mmhh dandruff shampoo
@@aiswaryamishra461 HE DID?
she is so relatable, GIVE US SEASON 3 NOW NETFLIX!
We need season 3, 4 and 5 all released at the same time.
I think Netflix will make us wait for a year 😭
I don't cared unless they make bevi( ben and devi) the endgame

Devi being relatable for 2 minutes straight? More like Devi being relatable for 2 seasons straight
fr if i were in her position i would be doing the exact same thing 💀💀 i guess thats why shes my comfort character despite all the chaos she caused lol
The relatability in this show makes it all the more entertaining to watch 😭 we need a season 3 immediately 😫
Yasssss....i am obsessed with this show after 2nd season nd cant wait a whole year for 3rd season....
season3 done, season 4 coming in 2023 🌚❤️
She's so relatable, not even in the highschool scene sense, but generally..Sailed through the Season 2... Can't wait for the next one...❤️
There will be a next one?!
@@KrishnaSharma-pi7zx I hope
No matter how many mistakes Devi made I still love her character! She's really hard to not like. Plus she tried to make things right and it worked♥️
this series is getting such so good feedbacks bc it shows things that teenager would actually do, not like mfking riverdale were people go to jail and start singing out of nowhere
Lol😂💔
yeah lol Riverdale mfs gave every teen hella insecurities 😂, i liked the show tho
True😂
The only show where the main character is so problematic and yet I love her so much 😭
Ever watched bojack horseman?
Breaking bad ? Any game of thrones character? Better call Saul?
1:52 Loved how awkward that beatboxing was, gave me lifeee 😭
People should thank Mindy Kaling for this show, not Netflix.
Since when Netflix has officially become a fangirl?
Embarrassment infront of crush is the most relatable
“my mom doesn’t tell me how to live my life, megan thee stallion does” preach girlie ✋😔🤚
“I will end you DJ Humanoid!” That should be somebody’s senior quote 😂
I would’ve thought Maitreyi was 21 or 22, but she is so freaking talented, And plays a teen so we’ll I can’t wait to see her do more things and she inspires me to be an actress
Go for it!!!
Definitely chase your dreams, the very best of luck! 🍀🤞

Devi just nailed it this time.. I just loved her coupling with both Ben and Paxton
The most relatable and true thing was milk boiling part you guys didn't mention it here🤦🏻♀️
Yesss whoever writes the script… this is byfar the most relatable drama dialogue so far! Maitreyi is suucchh a natural and all of her responses were relatable like.. i would have reacted that way even if i dont say it out loud!
I need s3 with more Devi Paxton scenes
U naughty naughty

One more *cough* team Paxton 👆
this is exactly what happened with me...7 months I just randomly saw a video on UA-cam about this series and I thought to give it a try and I fell in love with it... I also followed their insta page.... I almost forgot that this series even existed untill 2 months back when They announced on social media that they are releasing season two soon... I was so overjoyed and exicited and I finished season 2 in just a day

Are you serious? Now you play a fast song ? * That was my favourite. 😂
Being a tamil abroad, devi is the most relatable character ever❤

Thank you Netflix for creating a show that most gen z’s can relate to🤍🤌🏽.
Especially with strict parents 😭.
I love devi and paxton together ❤️ So cute.
And i am 26 i dont know why i love these teenage dramas 😞
she's the most real character I've ever seen thank you god
"I WILL END YOU, DJ HUMANOID" That's literally how I react when someone ruins a perfect moment for me.
The slow song to the fast song transition literally happens in every party😂😂😂😂especially when you are just tired of dancing and going to get some food lmao
I really love this show hope they will be a season 3
Love her so much ,need season 3 please
Her acting is soo good!
Devi's character development 🙌🏼
The only character I have found who is like a real life character....does things the wrong way .. makes up for the mistakes... and tries to be better....fails later on... learns through mistakes.. and the cycle continues. This is relatable.
Season 2 ..is rocking..&I love it so much..❤️ can't wait for next season 🤪
NETFLIX WE NEED SEASON 3!!!!
Devi needs more HOURS in therapy.
i’m living for devi’s fashion style this season
being brown there's so many other scenes that I found so relatable!
Love this show and Devi.
Devi, the slayer Queen ❤
"I DIDN'T PAY FOR THOSE SOUR STRAWS TO GET STUCK ON THE COIL" 😂😂
The thing everyone likes abt Devi sm is that even she's not like other teens in Netflix shows who are soft-hearted and never hurt others. She's relatable bc even tho she makes mistakes, she corrects them and accepts her flaws regardless.
Love Devi so much
Whoa....This book's never been opened before😂😂😂relatable
Omg I'm so excited to watch it😭😭😭☄☄
00:55 OMG💖favourate line😂
Underrated characters of NHIE:
Kamala
Prashant
The therapist
Devi's grandma
Eric
Paxton's sister
Fabiola's gf
Mr. Shapiro 😆
Everyone talking about devi but I'm actually worried about Kamala
DEVI IS A MOOD 😂♥️
Season 1 was raw, real and just the best
season 2 went by wayyyyy too fast😭i need season 3 NOW
They definitely need longer episodes. ☝
Soooo fun ,hope for season 3🥰🥰🥰
Devi is me if I'm just a bit braver🙃
and a bit more savage
Famous character devi ♥️♥️♥️
Just loving her but it's still fabi😍❤
not abt being relatable...but the scene where she gets rejected by Paxton and he reasons it by saying that it's all coz of her..her acting in that scene was so good..its that feeling where your throat feels heavy and you can't speak coz if you speak the person in front of you will come to know that you are on the verge of crying so that's why she just nods her head. I felt that scene💔
That is the most descriptive and relatable feeling ever commented honestly.
Now this is how you write a problematic character that no one actually hates and instead ends up finding her absolutely hilarious. Ginny and Georgia, please take notes😌✍🏽
So effin relatable 😫
when they were making a rap , I find it relatable every time , me and friend tries to do this like every single time🤣🤣
paxton in the background at 0:52 I CAN'T😩🤚🏿
