I'm Muslim, but I have great respect for the pastor. He tried his best to defend the Scripture after seeing a shocking fact from his bible. Y'all in the comments making fun of him need to realize that this video could really open his eyes to search for more truth. After all, the host himself is still trying to seek the truth having watched the video before; but this time around comes out to watch it again with his pastor. I'm sure the pastor is convinced deep down, but sometimes the truth is just difficult to take and that's mainly because of our ego. May Allah guide him to the right path. Ameen
I respect and admire the fact that he challenged the pastor with this footage, I haven't seen anyone do that so hats off to the young man BUT! the pastor did not have an open mind or heart from the get go...it was a simple question, why change the name to a translated name which hides the truth? He couldn't answer that so he was defective throughout the video.

Ahmeed Deedat has debated with so many famous pastors. You can look it up. Not once have they won the debate, in fact many accepted Islam after realising the truth. Deedat knows the whole bible cover to cover.

Out of everything the pastor said, he made 1 good point at the end, "No scripture is open to private interpretation". Its intersting cause everything mentioned in the quran can be reference back to the time.of the prophet, where he was, what was happening etc when he recieved each verse of revelation. There is even an entire chain of narration of who heard what from who, what their biography was and were they trustworthy. This helps in fully understanding the quran from the person it was revealed unto, Muhammad pbuh
I really enjoyed watching this video.. I'm an Irish Muslim, I reverted to Islam 7 yrs Ago after 10 years of studying scripture. I was brought up in a Christian family and as a family we went to church every week and also bible classes and study. I see with your friend the Pastor the same thing as I see here quite regularly. People see the truth and still turn a blind eye. Questioning your faith is a very difficult thing, but it is necessary to grow as a person intellectually. All scripture should stand the test. But unfortunately the Bible does not stand up to that test. Time and time again it fails. A thing to think about is this, If the Holy Spirit was the Comforter to Come, was the Holy Spirit not at the Beginning with God? If so why does a Spirit have to follow AFTER Jesus? Also..... Talking about translating of names is not applicable in this case. The mistake made by islamic apologists is that they say that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. They are wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name (like יְהוִֹה, Yhvh). And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to Muhammad.

So the word Makhammed have meaning in Hebrew, but it doesn't make it a "not a name ". the word Abraham, Has a meaning in Arabic which is"merciful father " but it doesn't make the name Abraham something not a name. Each name hath a meaning, So they translated it according to the Hebrew meaning of the word mohammed with "im"... The problem is that a lot or most all the Pastors have the same way in debates (I think, likely, not really, maybe, not sure). The Muslims scholars are always on very high different level, they always speak facts, logic and from the books. You don't hear (I think). That's why you see the Pastors stuttering and sweating in debates. Like we see in the Video, the Pastor (with all my respect) tries to hide the sun by a sieve. Muslims scholars don't need to open any book too, just when they want to show other, they just learn and study and recite their books and other books just like we count from 1 to 10.

Pastor sweating, clearly he needs more Bible and Quran studies for comparative religious studies. The issue with the current Bible scholars randomly pick verses and misinterpret them which is misleading. They need to read both books to expand their knowledge in religion. The pastor looks very uncomfortable because everything Ahmed Deedat said made sense, and goes against what the pastor says, yet he chooses to deny the truth. He kept mentioning the Bible is not a historical book, or a scientific book, but neither is the Qur'an, it simply affirms what is already mentioned in science and history currently, but is a Book about Islam, belief in the Almighty Allah and the revelations he gave to His prophets to educate mankind. Didn’t Jesus (PBUH) mention in the bible, in John 16:12-15, that another prophet will come after Jesus to spread the same message. The prophet being Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Also, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, was also mentioned in Deuteronomy 33:2. Mount Sinai refers to Moses, Mount Seir "the Mount of Esau" refers to Jesus, and Mount Paran "the Mount of Ishmael" refers to Muhammad. Based on geography. Also wouldn’t the Holy Spirit always be there before Jesus (PBUH) and during his time? Why would the Holy Spirit only come after Jesus (PBUH)? Going off of the beliefs that the Holy Spirit was part of the Trinity and so in turn God, the Holy Trinity would have and will always be there.

Jesus Christ never spoke of sending any other prophet but He spoke of that in the last days, HE will pour out His spirit on all flesh, Young men will dream dreams, and old men will see visions. Secondly, as regards the Spirit in Jesus Christ, it's the same Spirit that was in Genesis(..and the Spirit of God hovered across the water); it's the same Holy Spirit that was in all anointed persons in the Bible; the same Spirit in Jesus Christ and the Same Spirit that was in Him when He ascended into Heaven to be sent again at the day of Pentecost. The Spirit is the comforter, teacher, and companion and it's the Spirit of God that empowers in times of miracles, healing, casting out demons, understanding, teaching all truths; rightly dividing the words of truth. As regards to deut 33:2, moses spoke of the tribes of Israel. The Ismaelites had nothing to do with the convenants in the Bible. In fact, they were pagans, worshipping other gods and had nothing to do with Moses. Don't mix exodus and Allah, they had nothing in common. The God of Moses(YHWH) isn't the God of kabba. It is very good that now you are discussing. Through discussions, truth is eventually revealed. The question is, is Muhammad mentioned in the original bible or not? We find the same case in the Gospel of Barnabas, which is rejected by almost all Christian sects. The name Muhammad is mentioned without seeking for translation.
When this Pastor goes to Sheikh Othman bin Al-Farouq, Hisham and Shamsi to debate with them, I am sure that he will be weak to prove the strength of his belief that Jesus is his Lord. the suffix "im" in hebrew is always used for names, its impossible to use it with adjectives, when something is followed by "Im" its a name. so in that verse its not the praised one its a "name-im"

I'm from a Christian family, I'm a believer of christ since I started to know what is right and wrong. I stopped arguing about religion after God sent me a beautiful Muslim woman whom held strong to her faith, saw how strong my faith and believe is in Christianity and passion for God. This woman said to me I should try and study further about God's word and His prophets. I only know Holy Bible until I started studying Quran. Surah 2: Albaqarah verse 87 will clear so many doubts and disbelieve. Mohammed (pbuh) is the last prophet sent by God of Abraham and that same God gave Torah, gave Bible and now have addressed His Doctrin( final Doctrine) and ways of worship through Mohammed (pbuh). If Jews believe so much in Torah, Christians to Holy Bible what is wrong with same believers accepting Muslim the true and final prophecy sent by only God and One God. God said He will punish disbelievers and those who fail to accept His final Prophets. Christ said "my people perish because they lack knowledge." It won't cause you a thing to start studying. Many Christians have died believing in wrong and old doctrines, the change can start from you. Don't wait for someone to tell you how they understand the word of God. Study and show thyself approved. Out of everything the pastor said, he made 1 good point at the end, "No scripture is open to private interpretation". Its intersting cause everything mentioned in the quran can be reference back to the time.of the prophet, where he was, what was happening etc when he recieved each verse of revelation. There is even an entire chain of narration of who heard what from who, what their biography was and were they trustworthy. I really enjoyed watching this video.. I'm an Irish Muslim, I reverted to Islam 7 yrs Ago after 10 years of studying scripture. I was brought up in a Christian family and as a family we went to church every week and also bible classes and study.
I see with your friend the Pastor the same thing as I see here quite regularly. People see the truth and still turn a blind eye. Questioning your faith is a very difficult thing, but it is necessary to grow as a person intellectually. All scripture should stand the test. But unfortunately the Bible does not stand up to that test.

Talking about translating of names is not applicable in this case. The mistake made by islamic apologists is that they say that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. They are wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name (like יְהוִֹה, Yhvh). And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to Muhammad.

In Hebrew: Makhammed.(with "kh").
So if you read the chapter you will know what Topic it talking about, And the word "Makhammed " have a meaning in Hebrew, As Arabic and Hebrew are close languages which come from the same family.

Didn’t Jesus (PBUH) mention in the bible, in John 16:12-15, that another prophet will come after Jesus to spread the same message. The prophet being Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Also, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, was also mentioned in Deuteronomy 33:2. Mount Sinai refers to Moses, Mount Seir "the Mount of Esau" refers to Jesus, and Mount Paran "the Mount of Ishmael" refers to Muhammad. Based on geography.

In fact, they were pagans, worshipping other gods and had nothing to do with Moses. Don't mix exodus and Allah, they had nothing in common. The God of Moses(YHWH) isn't the God of kabba.

I'm from a Christian family, I'm a believer of christ since I started to know what is right and wrong. I stopped arguing about religion after God sent me a beautiful Muslim woman whom held strong to her faith, saw how strong my faith and believe is in Christianity and passion for God. This woman said to me I should try and study further about God's word and His prophets. I only know Holy Bible until I started studying Quran. Surah 2: Albaqarah verse 87 will clear so many doubts and disbelieve. Mohammed (pbuh) is the last prophet sent by God of Abraham and that same God gave Torah, gave Bible and now have addressed His Doctrin( final Doctrine) and ways of worship through Mohammed (pbuh). If Jews believe so much in Torah, Christians to Holy Bible what is wrong with same believers accepting Muslim the true and final prophecy sent by only God and One God. God said He will punish disbelievers and those who fail to accept His final Prophets. Christ said "my people perish because they lack knowledge." It won't cause you a thing to start studying. Many Christians have died believing in wrong and old doctrines, the change can start from you. Don't wait for someone to tell you how they understand the word of God. Study and show thyself approved. They claim Mohammed name was not mentioned in the Bible because they lied and changed so many words God seeing that His children have been laid astray sent His final prophet (pbuh).
