Very misunderstood guy great teammate and a true rock star on and off the field we was all partying hard he just had the biggest name and spot light Lincoln police never been a fan of husker players he definitely had there attention he wasn't a drunk just partied like most college students one of my good friends and teammates
Always wondered why we struggled with ASU (19-0 loss) and the Texas Shorthorns (other injuries, too) in '96. We were without Farley - a HUGE difference maker. Oz reminded us.
I had the honor of playing high school football with Terrell and winning a state championship title with Terrell, but Terrell come from a long line of football legacy.......his older brother was hell also.......he is from Columbus Georgia and went to Kendrick High School
Very talented player that took his place at Nebraska for granted. Osborne's patience ran out in 1996. He was dismissed from a NC contending team on which he was a key player. Thats all you need to know
quite possibly the best i have seen go through here...he would of changed the nfl...we were so good that they didn't even try to coach him they just let him do whatever...sob was jaw dropping
Nebraska would have had 3 straight national championships had Farley not had the bottle take over and Osborne have to kick him off the team before the Texas game. These are Osbornes statements. He could sure teach the current team about giving 110% on every play.
von miller from TA&M reminds me a bit of farley...same ridiculous explosion, but von miller hasn't showed the hands and scoring ability that made terrell such a game changer. put von miller's strength and athleticism rushing the passer with dejon gomes' knack for making huge plays and you get terrell farley. i don't know if we'll see another one like him but part of the fun is always looking...best bet this year is lavonte david.
He played 20 games between 1995 and 1996 and the Huskers were 20-0. He missed the ASU loss, suspended and the Texas loss, flu. Dude had his own undefeated streak. I think 7 TDs in 20 games. He clearly didn't really have a position. I have never seen a guy that didn't really know how to play football, know exactly where to be on every play.
@doublenickel2 I'm not sure why you were talking about Von Miller, but you were completely right about David. Kind of creepy considering he wouldn't have even been 1st string had Compton and Fisher not gotten hurt.
🐐
My god he was dominate! My favorite husker ever!

He's the reason I wanted to play weakside linebacker in high school

burlingtonbill1 I guess we should have put Farley at tailback in that blanking vs. ASU. it was hardly the defenses fault that day.
@@tonybendorf9536 It was the fumbles and offensive mistakes.
That K State punt attempt is the fastest off the ball rush Ive ever seen
Im here bc of the spring game
alex kaster lmfao same
Same lol

Still here. GBeffinR
T Farley was just a freak and a flat out baller!!!!!!!
I knew him from ICC in Kansas( Independence KS)in 1993 or something.
He was Nebraska’s version of primetime...loved seeing his interview with Damon Benning at the spring game. He was such a beast
clean and sober now
True stud. Too bad couldn't keep the partying in control. He was more than great.

The set of videos you've posted are by far the best I've ever seen. Thank you.
I spoke with Terrell. He said its a shame they had to use the lyrics.

Terrell how many defensive TD's you got over your career?
What could've been. He only played about 15 games for the Big Red and look at all the highlights.

Missing Farley badly about now (41-40 over Ball State, gave up 600 yds of offense)...

before his time....
Why wasn’t he drafted in the NFL ?!?
He didn't play in the NFL because he set out his senior year got kicked off the team do your research

Love this! Any chance you could make it available for mobile? Thanks man! Favorite Husker of all time! GBR!
He played 20 games and the Huskers were 20-0.
Great player just couldn't put down the bottle
Loser music but good highlights.
Jail?
Love the video ... but gave it a thumbs down 'cause of the sound track.
lol
