I'm a man and I wear it. It smells GREAT ON ME. I get tons of complements from women and men. I just used mine up last month. I purchased my bottle in 2016 and your right it's NUCLEAR and a little goes a long way. I have been in a PACKED OUT CLUB and people would say damn somebody smell good. 😅😅😅 I'm glad I found your channel. I will subscribe.

I also blind bought this because I heard it was straight up bubble gum and that's a scent profile I love. I have a whole dedicated bubble gum section of my perfume collection (lots of tuberose fragrances in that section). Anyway, GREAT review, thank you!

Great video! I haven't tried this fragrance but I definitely want to try it! I love Mancera fragrances! My favorite so far is Coco Vanille. I love how strong they are! Yes this perfume is sweet but last like no other, and your right it’s definitely a compliment getter! Yes you don’t have to pay for price I got mine for $62….

Santa, usually we agree on all things scent (I just blind-purchased Pas Ce Soir, thanks to you, and I am in awe), but I have just received Velvet Vanilla (after blind-ordering it), and I'm in love! It smells just like tutti frutti Hubba Bubba and I'm so here for it! I'm yet to wear it out (it's summer here), but I'm so looking forward to it! I'm so glad this doesn't smell like the og L'Interdit and/or My Way, as I'm no fan of atomic tuberose! On me, it's a slightly spiced tutti frutti (with the powder on it) gum with a warm (yet not edible) vanilla base. After about an hour I can detect a really well blended mix of jazmin, tuberose and neroli coming though... thank gawd!

Ladies you have to try this layer combo with Velvet Vanilla and Instant Crush. I tried this on accident and I love it. I was about to declutter Velvet Vanilla until I found this combo. Instant Crush elevated the scent for me and I love it.

Great video. I will probably pass on the Velvet Vanilla. Jardin Exclusif is good and strong of course. It’s more on the line of Erba Pura, but without the beast mode muskiness that I don’t like.

I love Velvet Vanilla. I happen to get a bit of green notes and musk so it doesn't smell too sickly to me though it is still VERY sweet. I could personally wear it everyday though I don't because it's a bit much lol.

I may have to get a sample of this one. I want to try roses vanille because that's hyped up as well. I have Montale sensual instinct and i always get compliments with that one and i have instant crush. However, it's masculine on me but Smell good though. I feel like I need to be apart of the rough riders when I put that one on😂
Yes roses vanille is hyped as well. I have dedicated video up on the channel on rose vanille :-) Ive heard great things about sensual instinct too! You are right about instant crush...it's very edgy.

I love this fragrance, but I agree that you have to be in a certain mood for this. That mood for me is “I’m not serious today.” However, I do not get the projection & longevity that everyone speaks of. I reapply like 3 times when I wear it. This has kept me from exploring more Manceras.
Yes it has to be the right time and event for it. You probably have gone nose blind to it but trust and believe everyone can smell it around you.

When I have fragrances that are very strong I will spray the back of my neck, that way I can get whiffs of it without it being to much like spraying on your chest.

I don’t like when tuberose smells of bubble gum so this is just not for me. I have also tried Roses Vanille and there is something in there I just don’t like (something screechy) but it lasts forever. I need to try a few more because I like their longevity and silage but I have not found one I jive with yet

I absolutely do not get any of the other notes listed for Velvet Vanilla. That thing is a tuberose BOMB!! I definitely have to be in the mood to smell like bubblegum to wear that fragrance!😅

Santa, you made me laugh so hard. I myself am kind of past Mancera (and Montale). Their perfumes are just so loud and often chemical smelling. I just sold my Instant Crush. Upon smelling it felt like it singed my nose hairs lol. The only one I still have and will keep is Red Tobacco. I love that one. I do want to put my nose on Choco Violette though. From Montale I have Chocolate Greedy, but that's because I loooooove chocolate. But there are better chocolate fragrances out there.

Hi Santa! So about Mancera...... my PH and this house do not get along at all like you and house gucci lol. I LOVE roses vanille from mancera and it just did not work not matter how i tried with my decant. When my friend wears it, it smells amazing on her. I have sampled other frags from this house and got that same plastic smell on each. I just had to give up in this house sadly.
hahahah it is like that with fragrance houses. Oh well...on to other houses that work better for you.
Let me preface this by saying that I didn't grow up with sweet bubble gum, so I'm not sure if I'm just not accustomed to that scent profile, but I don't get bubble gum or anything edible.
I get a very sweet tuberose and lots of vanilla. My skin tends to temper sweetness, so after 30 mins or so, it's not as tooth rottingly sweet as the opening, and all I'm left with is a beautiful fruity tuberose and Mancera's signature vanilla for the next 12...or until I shower..hours. (I hugged a male friend of mine while wearing this fragrance on my clothes, and he said when he got home, his wife.. also a friend of mine...asked why he smelled like cake; so be warned of the unintentional transfer.)
I agree with the compliment factor; I think it's because it's playful, sweet, loud, and approachable. You wear this frag, and you're going to seem like a fun person. I don't wear it often, but I enjoy it when I do. I love it.

This velvet vanille is pretty oke, 💛💞 i have 2 deal with the first 30 min because its almost 2 much for me 2 handle but than it become pretty!
Its also pretty if you just spray it on you clothes and in the air 2 walk through thw rain of it.
Cant handle it on my wrist but behind the ear is oke 😅

I blind bought this one too, and this is the only fragrance that has made me gag. It was not for me. Even the fake leather pouch it comes in smells awful!

Unfortunately, it’s a no for me. I have tested this and the smell of pink pepper and clove are too prominent on my skin. Makes me nauseous. 🤢 It reminds me of Rouge Smoking and I don’t like that one either.

Honestly, i strongly dislike Mancera perfumes. I got this perfume last year, though I loved it at first, I quickly got tired of it. It was too loud and I got too many compliments from men, it was crazy. One man told his wife to ask me the name of the perfume, he wants to smell it on her. She looked pissed. It somewhat reminds me of Chinatown by Bond No9.
