Damn that's nice. GM really had it together on the '77 redesign. You may have already tried this, but if you fiddle around twisting the headlight switch, you might find a spot where your instrument lights don't cut in and out. Thanks for sharing.

Those are some of the best driving, most reliable GM products there are. EVERY engine they installed in those were durable. The funniest part is that at one time or the other, those B-bodies could have had engines from every division except Cadillac. Buick V6, Buick V8, Pontiac V8, Chevy V8, Oldsmobile V8..gas AND diesel. That led to a lawsuit because a customer bought either a Buick or an Oldsmobile and discovered it had a Chevy engine installed instead of one from the related division. That's why they were forced to add a blurb on later window stickers that read "this vehicle may be equipped with engines produced by various GM divisions".

I had a 78 Buick Lesabre 2 door back in the mid 90's when I came back from my overseas tour of Germany, My step-dad "Sold" it to me for $100, but in reality he just gave it to me and just told mom he sold it to me, so I could get around and drive the 5 hours to come home for the weekend when I could.
