That is really cool Grain!!!! You have more idea's than Felix the Cat, remember him? Always fixing everything with his little black bag of goodies, which always had everything in there he needed to fix just anything I mean. Keep up the great ideas.
Not doubting that this can be done, but this video makes it look too easy! I have 16mm x 150mm tubes and 20mm x 150mm tubes, I've tried repositioning the steel wool, finer and courser steel wool, a smaller flame, paper extensions to lengthen/tune the 20mm tubes, etc. etc. also I "uncork" or "pop" the the end of the tube with my finger tip to try to get pressure waves started... nothing works. It is a little maddening. Geez, I built a pulsejet engine before and that worked on the first try. I wonder if anyone else has had success with this? It certainly does not require much expensive setup, many people must have tried this.
Oh, thanks! Now I have to buy a lot of different sized test-tubes to make an organ!
Great video as always.
:)))
um salve do Brasil + like. nunca veremos um experimento como esse nas escolas públicas do Brasil. muito bom. parabéns.
This also works with sulfur and steel wool stuffed in to keep sulfur from falling out.

i am fail too. tried open and close end tube, different size test tube, different thickness of steel wool ,wire gauze.
@@yciktmc4643 I've failed too😢
show it to ,y students thanks a lot
Congratulations.!very good phisics sound experimentation. I loved it.
Thank you!

You have made the stirling engine man
Yes. This is also called a thermoacoustic stirling engine.

How did you know to put steel wool exactly 1/4 length of the tube?will this work with 15x150mm test tube?
this is amazing, keep up the good work
всегда с нетерпением жду новых видео, спасибо !!!
Спасибо и вам за просмотры и отзывы!
So cool
mr grain i have tried to do this experiment many times but never succeed why ?should i take exactly the same measurement of the test tube?
I do not know what you have, but I also did not immediately succeed.
what do you use to make the electromagnetic car and how do you do it? I did not understand the video well, I need it for a homework😊
There is something wrong with your experiment. I did exactly like you but there is no sound. no good explanation
Try to change the density of wool, it should not be very dense, you need quite a bit of wool. Try to change the location of the wool.
Excellent sir
Awesome experiment

Very cool!
Hi grain, nice experiment.one thing i want to ask that will it work if i use 150*15 mm test tube
Why not. Just every size has its own sound frequency.
Please explain why this happened.
It's hard for me to explain, look for the keywords "Stirling's engine" and "thermoacoustic engine".
OK thank you

Can I use something different than steel wire wool?
I dont know
Very good!

Amazing 👏
I try it but it didnt work. what is the problem?
Sorry, but how can I know?
I used steel wool and did exactly like you but there is no sound. Maybe I did something wrong. I can take a video what exactly I do.
Any trick
Wow that's cool! :)

Nice
I tried it but can't work, can someone explain?
Same here.
Sir, what's the use of steel wire wool
To be honest, I do not understand this myself. :)
Cool
Nice one sir.

03.29 tht 10000 mhz sound
IT WOULD HELP IF YOU EXPLAIN IT.
It's hard for me to explain, look for the keywords "Stirling's engine" and "thermoacoustic engine".
It made my computer crashed because of sound
cool
Bukod po jan pra san po ito ginagamit ng iba
I try Tesla coil 1year. But not working me sir......😭😭😭😭😭😭
Wow
How to make piston
Where do you see the piston? Inside there is steel wool and nothing else.
