Would rock climbing grip strength translate to catching? I can grip onto the wall pretty well but I’m not sure how good I’d be at catching

Yes! Grip stretch is important for not only catching, but SECURING a catch while in traffic. Sometimes there will be DBs trying to hit the ball away while it’s in your grasp before you get a chance to tuck it away so it’s important to have strong hands
