I must admit that I came across this concerto by a circuitous route. When I saw the surname, at first I thought, are there now 3 maestros in the same family? Well the answer is Yes. Heloise, Mathilde and Axel, you are those maestros. Your own unique playing elevates music to another level. Heloise, your delicate hands are like will o the wisp. Sometimes seen,but never forgotten. Mathilde,your exuberance and enthusiasm playing your violin, is beautiful. I would love to see you play some Vivaldi. This is my first time to see you play Axel. You have added a different dimension playing the cello. Please forgive my next line. When I have seen or listened to a cello, in many instances it has been a lady playing. Thank you to all of you for some beautiful music.
