Crystal Yuan surely won me over with her role as Chu Xuan Ji. Her cuteness as Xuan Ji is totally another level 👍🏻😍 She perfectly nailed every expression of Xuan Ji in every single scene which I think it's quite rare to see. Her on-screen chemistry with Cheng Yi is off the hook which I think it's one of the reason why this drama is very well received. Bravo to the writers and producers of this drama for making such a great fantasy drama! Awesome story, nice flow from one episode to another, not draggy, everything is well explained and easy to digest! Perfect mix of laughter, happiness, sadness, action, adventure, and eternal love. The CGI is quite impressive as well. The best part is this drama has the most satisfying ending that I've ever seen in any Chinese drama. Superb ❤
So true everything in these drama is perfection, now after finishing it now it feel so empty , feels like i have nothing to watch thats why im rewatching it all over again
I watched Chéng Yi's "The Promise of Chang'an" but it is still not as good as Love and Redemption. Also instead of re-watching it and seeing the misunderstandings and pain and betrayals, I would prefer to see a combination of all Xuan Ji and Si Feng moments.
They both acted very well. Their chemistry level was overwhelming every moments on and off screen. They may have developed a kind of trust and love. Is difficult to act when you are in love if you have no feelings for the other lead. Must have good feelings for each other. Plus the director guided them well. He may be the real matchmaker
Xuan Ji 's innocence and pureness are lovely and enticing that is why Si Feng feels in love with her which makes their drama beautiful ❤️😍 they Cheng Yi and Crystal Yuan acted so well and realistic ❤️😍

個人覺得：一部成功的影片除了不但需要一個好的劇本，而且最重要的是要選對的演員，同時演員的演技也是該劇取得成功因素，琉璃劇特別好，不但主角選得好，而且配角也很好，所有演員的演繹特別好，能夠完全把該劇的角色演活了，最重要的是男女主角好有夫妻相喲，他們很襯喲，真心希望他們能夠再繼續合作男女主角。
自從琉璃後，暫時未見他們繼續合作，實屬遺憾。琉璃後，雖然男主成毅也接了好多新劇，例如（長安諾）、（南風知我意），成毅的演繹很好，神情很到位，雖說女主角的演技是不錯，很努力的演繹，但是就無法詮釋該劇的主角精髓，沒有把角色演活，（1）首先女主角外表年齡感覺比男主要大一點
（2）該劇的選角不太好，他們特別沒有cp感
