The current difference in quality of T20 teams of India and Pakistan is staggering. India's B team absolutely destroyed South Africa's main team a month back. Pakistan on the other hand lost against South Africa's B team filled with school kids.
Pitch, Bowlers, Middle Order, Fielding, Finishers, Rain, Toss - the list of excuses go on. The only problem is the problem they don't admit: Rizwan and Babar. Remove them for good from T20Is. We are anyway losing most games against competitive sides. What's the harm in giving others a run of 20-25 games.
Glad that Indian team tour SA before pak and and face much better bowling than this and thrash SA otherwise pak fans comes up with theory that Indian players can score only on flat decks. Hope now they'll see difference between two sides.

Don't forget that Rizwan has won multiple matches single handedly and pulled Pakistan out of many situations before. If someone has to go it has to be Babar because I don't remember the last time Babar Azam won a match for Pakistan in recent T20Is. Does that excuse Rizwan for his knock today? Absolutely not. He should've played with more intent however just because he had a bad patch does not mean you drop him from the team when he has consistently performed in every single T20 World and Asia Cup that he has played (other than 2024)
AS I think BABAR AZAM is a t20 material but when ever he opens with rizwan BABAR strike rate is 119 when BABAR used to open with fakhar or saim in psl his strike rate was 145 BABAR SHOULD BE in opening position BUT not RIZWAN
It's because fakhar and saim play aggressive cricket, so there's no pressure on Babar he can play his natural defensive game, rotate strike and hit couple of sixes at the end. The only solution is to go with complete new approach with new star batters, who can hit sixes at any point of the game!!!!

i think shaheen was brought in as to pretect irfan as when the game gets closer, say if 25 was needed of last 2 overs, and the wickets were falling, it would just bring in bowlers to bat and cause further collapse however this plan didnt really work out. it was a brilliant idea but it just didnt quite work out as irfan was probably unlucky.

I feel like you're a bit unfair to usman khan. He's also an opener, so its harsh to judge him on performances in the middle order. He often comes in situations where the top order has wasted deliveries and gets out playing a bad shot, but I think its better thank blocking to pad stats.

I think Pakistan need to go bonkers in the powerplay. I say that because I'm absolutely certain now that pak dont have batters who can hit big and clear boundaries once the field is spread out. I just knew that once the power play is done pak batters will start to hoic everything towards mid wicket and keep finding fielders. What's the solution? Bring better batters. This guy Usman khan is literally like any other batter in my residential society.
