Amazing recipe. I used red vermouth instead of wine. I used chicken stock for the lentils. And added a bay leaf and rosemary & thyme to the lentils too. I added 1 tbsp chilli flakes to the sausages too. It was absolutely delicious, I've never cooked something so good.
It pays to be beautiful and pretentious when you aren't a very good cook and need tv money. For goodness sake all she did was heat sausage in a skillet in her million dollar kitchen.
Those lentils look quite dreadful with only onions. You could buy basic mirepoix mixes at the grocery store these days, the pop of color & flavor from the celery & carrot would liven it up.
