    There's nothing better than getting paid for the dumpster and then getting 500 bucks in scrap metal.

    I run a service gooseneck bed. Once you have a truck with tools and parts on demand, you'll have a whole new outlook on life! One major breakdown where your downtime is cut in half, and you'll pay for every tool you bought to keep on the truck!

    Hey , my friend had asked me to pick up 3 commercial ovens from a school district here in San Antonio.
    Granted the ovens were 30 minutes away from my house.
    So I got there at the schools business warehouse @0630 and the receipt said that they don’t load materials but the employee used a forklift to pick each one up and we loaded em into my 20’ landscaping trailer w four foot walls and one of the pegs below broke .
    Then I had to push em to the back by myself so all three would fit I strapped em all down .
    Now getting em off was not gonna be done with a hand truck so I got him to rent a dolly from Home Depot & we still had issues getting em off but we managed. Now he’s a small appliance repair guy and each one can sell for $1500 & up .
    Bingo , as we will share the cost on that .

    The original clamps on the ram are supposed to adjust with the expansion and contraction while hose clamps do not move with heat and cool cycles. Hopefully it holds for you because did not work out to well for me.

      He's a keeper. I think having a good relationship with your crew of guys is one of the most important things. Ranks above fancy equipment, higher revenue, etc.
      Having guys that can look after your stuff, business, understand your pain points, but also have a good sense of humor is key. Anything less than that is just an added stress or risk.

    It's against the code to board up or seal up. A splice box must be exposed and accessible.

    my yard here in illinois wouldve given me stainless breakage for that oven, I hope thats what they gave you but i doubt it as it was only 200 bucks, but better to have it recycled and not paid to dump it in alandfill where it doesnt belong.

    Well hoses are always a pain, especially when you don't want or need the aggravation. Also service places hardly ever check hoses unless you specifically ask to check them. Nothing worse than getting stuck on the side of the highway trying to troubleshoot leaks.😊 Quite the haul on the toy drive congrats.😊

    • @rollingops
      @rollingops  Місяць тому +1

      @robdeaton9910 100%. Hoses are one of those things that can be looked at every day during a pre-check, but unless you see obvious dry rot, there is no way to see if a failure is in your future.

    Hiding a junction box behind drywall (or any inaccessible location) is a code violation, period. If you want to leave an outlet box in place and just use it as a junction point, then you have to have it extend through the drywall just like an outlet, and place a blank cover over it for access. Since your "electrician" didn't follow code, now you are redoing drywall work instead of just opening up a blank outlet cover.

    • @rollingops
      @rollingops  Місяць тому

      My electrician did not make that mistake, he found it. I made that mistake, and now i'm going to pay for it, in time and money.
      Lesson learned.
      Thanks for your feedback
