Cam, I went into this video with an open mind, and honestly, it's much better with the voice over.
Your wit brings an element into your videos that elevates it to a higher level.
Keep it up man!
Dude...your comments and sometimes sarcastic remarks are what really makes your builds more fun. I am not a woodworker but I do enjoy watching you create these beautiful pieces...but...the commentary is what really makes it for me. I am sure the voiceovers take a long time to add but it is worth it for the end product in my opinion. Also, received the brass hammer I bought for my dad (who is a woodworker) and that thing is beautiful. He will love it for Christmas.
Love to hear that! And I have two channels with non stop talking, this one is for everyone else 😊
I prefer with voice over. I am taking the best nap watching your videos and listening to your voice!
No talking? I like hearing what you have to say and your thoughts. Beautiful table / art piece as always.
Thanks man! I have two channels with non stop talking for ya 👊
@@btsmuted couldn't the people who like to watch your videos muted, like, mute them?
@@AndrewVaughan 🤣
No blah, blah blah just beautiful woodworking, lol.
I like the talking too. Thanks for the multiple channels Cam. Long time watcher from Adelaide Australia 🔆
I liked this video but I like your other channel better! I enjoy your explanations and comments!
I actually like when you narrate.
I've watched a lot of your videos and two things come to mind.
First, find something you like to do and invest in doing it well. No fuzzy lines, either you did it well or you didn't. No fault, no blame, no shame. Just the best you could do on that day.
Second, having found something you like to do and having challenged yourself to do it well, do it for money.
I enjoy your commentary on these videos so much, but I never really realized it until I watched the muted versions! Props to you for being able to talk for 20 minutes + and still keep it interesting and engaging!
I could watch your channel…all…day!
I loved watching the collaboration with other local makers. You and Nick combined separate efforts into a beautiful work of art and function. Looking forward to more teaming with other local crafts-people.
Sed I love your commentary during the process
I definitely like the voice over videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for the awesome videos!
Gotta be honest, I still enjoy the commentary.
As always, absolutely beautiful! Your attention to detail is unsurpassed sir.
The table looks amazing! Whoever ends up with this in their house will be extremely lucky. The pattern of the wood reminds me of a delta or a marsh.
Can't help but see a smiley face with a blown out eye lol
🇬🇧 here. A local bar/bistro close to me have a couple outdoor bistro tables with epoxy Topps, now I know how it was done 👍👍 these tables also have small leaves set into the epoxy resin in the wood clefts. Cheers DougT
Although they are not something I'd like to have at my home, the products you make are extremely elegant. You are an artist in you mastery. Amazing works.
I really enjoy this alternate format.
Fabulous video as always and great work. Am I the only one that sees the crazy joker smile in its finish???? Lol
First I was all, “whaaaa, $1200 in epoxy?! Oh you gonna lose money.”
Then you went and made a $2500 table.
Kudos. 👍👊
Out of all of the pieces that you have done, this may be my favorite.
I hate the no words. I enjoy you explaining.
Excellent. It is a a serious change-up to your other videos. Variety is the spice of life! please keep being creative and don't forget who brought you to the dance...all at the same time.
Not sure how you are able to accomplish what you do by yourself. Going to start calling you Arnold Stallone
a“
Your commentary is such an integral part of the process, so omitting it may work for the more intellectually challenged section of your viewers/fans, but does nothing to enhance the viewing experience!
The explanation of your thought proccess, like your Rubio Top-Coat, completes the project............
Alright, lesson learned, I miss my friend talking me through his project 😊
I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS ACCOMPANIED WITH YOUR NARRATION!
Love the wood working helmet ⛑️💪🏾
That’s a beauty Clark.
Love seeing the struggles we all have with things like rolling carts, saw horses, etc. Don’t usually get to see those things on the other channel.
It feels weird not listening to your voice 😂 I can't stop hearing it in my mind 😂
Fantastic!!! You're a master en what you build there is a masterpiece 👍👍👍
Beautiful tabletop...and the stand ain't half bad, either!
I like the speaking version better. It rather forces me not to skip ahead lest I miss something. Here I felt no guilt skipping ahead, but then I saw the previous version anyway, so I know what happens. 👍
Настоящий майстер, дай Бог вам здоров'я.
Wonderful work, nicely presented. No incessent chatter or sales pitches for your or others products - this was a welcome respite.
I love the base with that table it looks amazing!!
I have been WAITING for this one!! 😁This table is absolutely stunning!! ❤️❤️
I do miss your commentary, though.
So tedious, but with a big payoff. Might be my new favorite! I like that guys channel. Well done. Stunning
Gorgeous table. That Marco Rubio is a fantastic finish, too. I think I could sit at that table for hours looking at the grain.
That's a sweet Lookin table.nice job brother 👍✌️
I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one making those exhale noises when moving heavy objects.
Masterpiece, to the very end.
As others have said here, gorgeous table and quality work as always but need your commentary. It's half the reason we all subscribed.
I saw the logo and I was like someone stole Cam's logo !!!😲😠 I didn't know u had this channel lol. Awesome work as always !!
One of the most beautiful and unique tables I’ve seen !
Just like at my shop, I see your friends are always available to help move a very heavy thing you shouldn’t be moving by yourself. Nice build!
Love the table, looks beautiful. I like the narration though. Keep it up.
Don’t care what the haters say… I like the talking! lol
Beautiful table!
OMG ! So worth all the effort refilling and sanding over & over. Stunning creation 🤘
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR EVERYONE ASKING ABOUT CAM’S METHODS:
These videos are for those who just like watching woodworking, not for those interested in in-depth learning. For that you need to go to the main Blacktail studio channel. Don’t bombard Cam with questions he’s answered a thousand times on the main channel like “what’re those chisels?” “What grits do you use” “what’s the finish?” Etc. All these are answered on the main talking channel. This channel is just for people who like watching the process. Those interested in learning go to Blacktail Studio!
Absolutely Phenomenal piece! Gorgeous beyond words!👏👏👏
Great stuff Cam, great stuff!
Loved the video. But I like your commentary as well.
Saw Blacktail and jumped to watch. Didn't finish reading that it was your new muted channel. I prefer your dialouge. But, I see how this has a place for some. Most beautiful piece of wood I've seen, and you've done some doozies in the past. Thanks for making another great video!
Love the table (got some Darth Vader vibes from the breathing, lol)
Cam you could always upload the same video one with voice over and one without on both your channels. Just an idea. Make both types of viewers happy. Also I would love if you could do a tool shop break down and go over all your shop equipment you use the most and for what reason. Maybe a 2 or 3 part series. Thanks for the great content. Happy Holidays to you and your family. If you get a chance to watch John Malecki make his scissor lift work bench its a game changer. Could maybe be something could help you out in your shop.
I also enjoy it more when you talk thru the videos….more enjoyable.
Really awesome build
Your tables are amazing 😮😊. Love your work!
Absolutely Beautiful Table!!!
I had never heard of using dry ice pellets before. Beautiful piece of wood!
Beautiful work!!
Very good work
Hard work
Skilled work
Artful work
!!!!!
AMAZING as always. Love this.
Congratulations, that’s a beautiful table.
Cam i watched an entire video with no commentary and i gotta say i prefer your voice over lol but nonetheless still loved it.
I want to set a challenge for you with an idea i havent seen you do before. I know black epoxy is your signature move but when you did your water pop it produced a look that i really admired. Instead of black id love to see you incorporate a hazy/shadowy white/black epoxy. However you want to call it but look at your epoxy on your water pop and mimick that look. It was really neat looking imo, and i know it wouldnt be much of a challenge for you. 👍
Nice table
Nice work 🙏 process 👌
Have a great day 🙏🔔
I just love your work and you work hard but I see you winning.
I miss you describing what you do 😉
Keep on talking.
Love the table base!
Really prefer when you're talking :)
I hate the ‘no talking’ idea? Did you cave to comments or something? I love your commentaries. It’s educational and personalized. I’ve been following for a long time and enjoy all the content and hard work you put into this. People that don’t like it can mute it!!
Thank you for the format instant sub.
Beautiful as usual but I like to hear your thoughts , processes and comments it helps me
I think you did a fantastic job. One question how much did it sell for.
Gorgeous!
Preciosa mesa, trabajo, dedicación, profesionalidad
Absolutely beautiful ❤ I’d love to buy one. I’d be very proud to have that in my home.
I have no idea what telegram app is.
Beautiful work 👌🏼
I think you missed a couple pits 😂. That table was sick. Can’t imagine the price tag on that thing.
Amazing.
Thank you so much for making this video. I love your regular teaching videos, but this is super relaxing. My only nitpick is that you had something on in the background that was voices at high speed. It really distracted from the lovely soothing sounds of your woodworking. I love this sort of ASMR stuff for when I'm at work and need to concentrate.
Espetacular... Sou apaixonada nesse trabalho.
10:02 Darth Vader loves woodworking 😂
Isopropyl Alcohol spray clears all ur bubbles and does no damage to the resin much easier way then setting ur eyebrows on fire 🔥
You given me lots of tips here's one back keep up the great work 👍
Very cool - love the base too - I would be cussing having to do all the touch ups! However, you did make me realize not to pour the epoxy in my kitchen! - scared of leaks.
Beautiful
Truly awesome.
great job
Just brilliant👍
The table is beautiful. The stand takes up to much room underneath. I was imagining a burnished aluminum sculpture as legs.. :)
Nice job 👍
Muted Cam, who knew. JK I like this format too. ❤ love this of art
Cam, a little CNC tip: Have the operator do a swirl pattern next time starting from the center, going in a circle and working out. Doing that keeps the flatness of the material even all the way out. Less clean up with the sander.
Hi, Blacktail Studio, Amazing looking table well done, You remind me of me in my younger days working by myself, I’m struggling I’m trying to find a way to turn something over especially when you get to a point where things are assembled and where you need at least Half a dozen pairs of Hands.
I remember about 10 years ago I made a door that I laminated up in a Vacuum Bag. And when it came to remove it it took seven of us to get it out onto another table,
Keep up the great work, very impressive, enjoy the territorial, And stay safe.
PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN FRANCE.
Great as usual, but missed your voice. Those who comment and tell you that you talk too much, are totally wrong! Keep it up.
