Just to let you know Angelina has had no better champion to get people aware of Angelina since before 2017 when I showed up spouting her talents. In fact Rusty corrected me several times as I had mismangled information on Angelina. He has a listing of her first 150 songs in chronological order. So if you want to know how old Angelina was when she sang a song he's the one you should refer to.
She actually sanged thus song during her completion on Norway got talent. She was 7 years old then. Check it out.

Agree, Anthony is a bit limited on his knowledge of all the great artists that have inspired Angelina's music, Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Louie Armstrong and so on and hopefully he will research and listen to these great artists of the past that influenced so much of today's music....well the good music anyway. We here in the States are well aware of all these artists, I grew up listening to many of them from my parents playing "78's" , precursor to to the "33" LP vinyl's back in the day....I am dating myself I guess. Hope Anthony will take the time to listen to them....he is quite talented rapper and could actually learn a bunch from the past....as Angelina has.

It's amazing how she alternates between consummate singer and excited child! She lays down each phrase as if it were a work of art in itself, then stands back and says, "Hey, I did that!". I do recommend the album, It's Magic. Plenty of fine tracks there.

The history with this song "I'm a fool to want you" goes back to the 50s. Co-Composed by Frank Sinatra and recorded in 1951. Billy Holiday made it famous.

Astounding!! Angelina is a one and only. I've seen this many times and I'm amazed every time, like it's the first time seeing it.

There's one other time I have noticed this same gesture, it's when she entered the booth to sing 'I Put a Spell on You'.. she was paying her respects to Screaming Jay Hawkins then.

Nice reaction! I find it kind of sweet that she's looking for approval from her Grandma Mery, the person who is taking the video. They have a real close relationship and it was Mery who introduced Angelina to jazz and Angelina just totally fell in love with the genre. If you didn't know, Billie Holiday is Angelina's biggest musical influence. She once said that if there were no Billie Holiday, there would be know Angelina Jordan! Wow, what a thing to say!

This child is so amazing and so adorable on so many levels ! To be able to pull off the adults that she is covering is Insane ! Especially Billy Holiday ! I just can't get enough of her voice and her performances ! Just mesmerized !!

Charity, she donated the 80 thousand dollars she won on Norway’s Got Talent Angelina Jordan won Norway’s Got Talent at the age of 8 in 2014, the prize for winning was eighty thousand dollars, this money was donated to children’s charities. At age 8 her first charity performance was in Germany to raise money for heart disease. Again, at age 8 she does a telethon for Plan International Children’s Charity. Still at age 8 she performs for Norwegian Sea Rescue Society Charity. On the 12th of Dec still at age 8, she performs at Save The Child Nobel Peace Prize, 4 days later, even though she has a very bad cold, she performs for the Swedish Heroes Foundation against her doctor's orders. At age 10 she performed for the Norwegian Refugee Council Charity. Also age 10 she performed in Seoul in South Korea for Rotary International to raise money for children’s vaccinations.
Angelina Jordan comes from a very wealthy family and does need the money, she, and her family want to share her wonderful talent with the world. This is what makes AJ and her family so very special. This information was on Alan's Pod Cast.

While listening to this genre of music and especially with Angelina singing, I often get lost in her voice and the story of the song. I truly hope that happens for people who listen to the popular music of recent years.
In front of Angelina is a glass window where she can see the Band playing. There is another tape of this recording in a-cappella and she removes her ear phones so we can hear the music playing in her ear. In this one, someone added the music, I personally like the a-cappella version better. Thank you for a great reaction.

Tiny Little Girl
Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.
These songs she is singing are from way back from when i was a kid. I am 60 now. The emotions in her voice is incredibly surprising! She understands the meaning of these songs! God bless you Jordan 💜🙏💜🕊🤟

She has the bluest soul music that we don't hear much of anymore. Billy Holiday is legendary for her blues singing. This is a genre of music I haven't heard since the forties. Truly exquisite breathiness and vocal manipulation. You have some of her "old soul" music, but it shows more in self-reflective rapping. Thanks for showcasing this song. ❤

And then there's this .. magnificent sound... and yet in the visual she has leaves and weeds in her hair where she for so long had flowers and crowns .. and she's fooling around with her Grandma, who was her videographer for this. When you hear this performance without the visual, its magnificent .. you would never believe she was having fun with Grandma Mery.

Norway's Got Talent, America's Got Talent (Champions), Nobel Prize Ceremony, Quincy Jones' Birthday Celebration (at his invitation) at O2 Arena, opening for Norah Jones, National TV appearances, opening a movie soundtrack, outdoor concerts, signed with Republic Records as their Highest Priority, and the list goes on, all before the age of 16.
It is true that she was born with more talent than most musical groups have in aggregate (IMHO), but the amount of focused work that it took at achieve all this is mind-blowing.

Angelina enjoys impressing her grandma Mery, AJ's grandmother, Mery Zamani, is a famous artist and poet and was a child prodigy and has been a major force in AJ's upbringing. There is no way you can experience Angelina Jordan without becoming very emotional. This being moves mountains. Grandma Mery spent so much time with Angelina picking songs for her to perform from Mery's past, and it is very obvious, they have this very special rapport.
Both Diana Ross and Andre Day have done Billie Holiday films wonderful performances and Angelina is on par, but with a tinge more style! If you listen to the original you will see that Angelina can make a true classic her own once again! I love you are supporting her so much as she truly is something so special!
