This is the best first listen reaction I've ever come across with. It should have more views honestly! I was vibin' with you and the listen was also a roller coaster ride. The interpretation was lovely and the last track (Always) was too emotional. And lastly, I agree, this album is an easy listen, very relatable and yes, it's 10 out of 10!

There hasn’t been a day since it came out that I haven’t listened to it. It is my daily vitamin. I don’t know if you ever listened to his 1st mini album Blue. If you haven’t, I highly recommend it. The entire album is just perfection. No skips! Great first listen reaction vid! I reco also listening to his first album Voice if you still haven’t by this time. That’s more ballads but all quite distinct & all showcase Onew’s (no pun intended) voice. 😊

I'm getting around to this late, but thanks for the wonderful reaction! As for Cough and what you thought it might mean... Onew was one of the participating artists for this year's annual festival of the Shiny Foundation, a charity run by Jonghyun's family. He sang two songs at the event: "Shine on You," a song he wrote himself that's from his first EP Voice, and "Cough." (For what it's worth, some people think Walk With You is also about Jonghyun.) In my view, there's a theme of missing a person and meandering through memories woven all throughout this album, and I've kind of casually been calling the entire album Onew's mental health manifesto; he himself has described it using words like "healing" and "restorative." It's really one of my favorite albums of all time. :) (And yeah! If you go to SHINee's official UA-cam channel, you can find the behind video of Onew recording Caramel [and all the other songs] and doing the mouth trumpet. He also performed Cough, Anywhere, Paradise, Expectations, No Parachute, and Always in his recent concerts, and you can find those live performances on UA-cam too. I recommend Expectations and No Parachute.)
