I agree! I used it for two months on and off and I’ve been dealing with healing and fresh TSW for a month now! Stopped cold turkey and that’s the only thing saving me
Thank you for sharing your story! It's encouraging to know there's light at the end of TSW. Im one month in and I've seen some progress on my skin. I was on and off topical steroids for about a year and half til I finally decided to go cold turkey last month and hearing positive stories of those who've gone and are still going throught is really encouraging. THANK YOU! 😃 My prayers go out to everyone going through it! 🙏 We will come out stronger! 😃
i disagree with the notion that it takes years to develop. i've only used it for 3 and a 1/2 months and i'm one month in TSW with no clear signs that it's getter better
Lowand Beland getting to the root of the issue, allergies, leaky gut, you gotta heal and detox your gut and liver since that’s where a lot of your immune system comes from. Adrenal glands to. You just gotta detox first, find your triggers, and look up medical medium, his books are amazing. Or the eczema diet
@@biakeller It did cure me years ago. This time around, I don't do much cooking anymore, so wasn't sticking with it. I need to get back on it again. YES IT DOES WORK.
Its also important to note. Tsw can make you more suitable to eye and ear infections. A trip to the dr could find you taking antibiotic drops with steriods in them..i had an ear infection 5 times in 6 months. After repeatly oral antibiotcs it kept coming back.. the fluid wasnt draining from my ear and was putting pressure on the drum..i fonally gave in and took the drops. What a mistake..at the time of taking the drops i was 90% recovered after the drops i flared worse than ever. Its now been 1.5 years. My tsw is still itchy and my neck and the tops of my hands .Somewhere i nevwr had dermatitis or tsw.
Very helpful video on TSW. However, one thing to keep in mind is that everyone has a different genetic makeup. TSW can develop after only 2 weeks. Keep in mind, once your body takes these medications all bets are off. You're playing with fire so be careful
This is the one thing that I feel is wrong. There are a lot of people who present that the Oozey stuff (which I have lots of) is to help heal the skin and should be left on, not wiped off. We all know how hard it is to leave it on because it’s gross. But I don’t think it is waste.
I used it twice a day for a month 2 times this year and my face is such a red dry peeling mess! Smh I wish my dermatologist never prescribed this I had no idea about this! It's been almost 2 months and it flares up then gets better....it keeps going back and forth ....
Hi Abby! I really loved this video! I understood a lot! About searching for the root cause, I guess Its necessary to do some exams, but.. could you explain exactly which tests can determinate de root causes? the names? and what each of them determines? I would be so grateful
Why everytime my daughter gets fever her skin get infected? She has to use antibiotic for it, sometimes she ends up in the hospital for treatment for the infection when it gets really bad. Right now she had the fever.
I wish I had seen your video sometime ago. I had a very itchy spot on my leg a few years ago. I scratched it to the point of bleeding at times. I found a dermatologist who said it would get better and began a process of cortisone small injections around the rash and introduced cortisone injections on my hip to help periodically, along with intervals of prednisone pills. The skin problem remained localized in that area. Never had other areas of itching. The area got better off and on, with periods of returned itching at which point the same treatment approach was done. A few years forward with no problems and a few months ago my leg itchiness and scratchiness has come back ( I suspect it's STW) and rashness has appeared on my arms and neck. A dermatologist I just went to diagnosed me with sever eczema, wants me to take prednisone for 2 weeks, and begin Dupixent. I think I started with a bad case of dry skin that has worsened over time on my leg with STW and now it's being treated as an ongoing case of sever eczema to be treated with the Dupixent injections. I'm really interested in your thoughts. I don't want to go to that extent unless it's necessary.
I am taking oral steriods (corticosteroid) on and off whenever flares happen, but now my eczema kinda gets worse, not sure if this is related to TSW. Is taking natural anti- inflammatory advisable, I know curcumin/ turmeric is one. Also, are collagen pills okay?
My flare up or inflammation (fire) was temporarily alleviated with prednisone. I want to make sure I prevent any more use of oral and topical steroids. I'm now going through what seems like another flare up which began on my leg and spread to most of my body (itchy red tiny bumps). I've started clean diet and eliminated inflame producing foods. Can you tell me if I absolutely need to go back to doc and for prednisone, or continue with journey which I think is TSW? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I currently started on Prednisone about a year ago after years of me trying to heal my eczema naturally I got sick of it I feel as tho life is to be enjoyed if you have a terminal illness would you go without taking heart medicine knowing you could have a heart attack feel good now boo
My struggle. I'm 5 weeks into this after 4 years of steroid use. Oral and topical (4 apps a day all over) so whole body is red and sore and itchy and swollen. It's agony. Problem is I've got a secondary staph infection. It seems despite detoxing and antiinflammatory diet etc and moisturising.. I can't heal while my wounds are infected. I'm on 4th round of oral ab's ... Any tips?
i disagree that you have to be on it for years to develop TSW. i was not on it but for 2 - 3 months and went through 6 months of hell before my skin calmed down enough for me to be able to get out of bed and do anything~!!! i am 2 1/2 years out and still having light flare ups.
@@ericthautubertv3802 it is pretty much gone except that i itch more than i used to but i tend to have dry skin. i will not take steroids unless it is a life/death matter. i would not wish that on anyone. if one or two dermatologists went through TSW and then got on the band wagon - we might see some progress in getting doctors to realize and to accept that it actually a reality~!!!!!

Aloha, Elisha, My name is KJ and I live in Honolulu. It has been a long and tumultuous journey for me with my "eczema" which is actually steroid-induced eczema. I have seen 9 doctors and professionals for this condition on Oahu to no avail. The "top" dermatologist in Honolulu told me that I needed STRONGER steroids, possibly injectable or oral and perhaps methotrexate. I did not take her recommendations. I finally went to see Dr. Marvin Rapaport in L.A. last year, and I am now 15 months into topical steroid withdrawal. It is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I believe this is the only way to true healing and complete freedom from steroids.
Make so you so mad doctors and derms I'd love them to have it put on their skin till it happens to them there not healers just work for pharmacy sick I know I should forgive but find it difficult
Yes I’m trying to figure this out too. I used steroid on my face for almost 4 days and tactolimus for 4 days . I then used pimecrolimus for 2 weeks and the texture of my skin has really changed. I don’t know how to get it back to normal. Dermatologists Have been a waste.

I have to say that I disagree that TSW takes years to develop. My daughter only used TS for 2 weeks and she's had TSW for going on 2 years now.
I agree with you on this that even just using it for a few weeks can cause TSW to develop.

How is your TSW journey going?
Animal based diet is the best way to deal with this. You get the fats you need and the food is not inflammatory. And of course reduce mental stress
When I had eczema years ago, I went on a carnivore diet and the eczema went away.
could you please guide about the carnivore diet?@@mtngrammy6953
AND HOW EXACTLY DO YOU GET RID OF THE FIRE?

Personally I do extended water fasting. It's not easy, but it does work. I do about 6-8 days at a time. It's working
I heard that carnivore diet helps. Im gonna try it
