I have to say that I disagree that TSW takes years to develop. My daughter only used TS for 2 weeks and she's had TSW for going on 2 years now.

Thank you for sharing your story! It's encouraging to know there's light at the end of TSW. Im one month in and I've seen some progress on my skin. I was on and off topical steroids for about a year and half til I finally decided to go cold turkey last month and hearing positive stories of those who've gone and are still going throught is really encouraging. THANK YOU! 😃 My prayers go out to everyone going through it! 🙏 We will come out stronger! 😃

Its also important to note. Tsw can make you more suitable to eye and ear infections. A trip to the dr could find you taking antibiotic drops with steriods in them..i had an ear infection 5 times in 6 months. After repeatly oral antibiotcs it kept coming back.. the fluid wasnt draining from my ear and was putting pressure on the drum..i fonally gave in and took the drops. What a mistake..at the time of taking the drops i was 90% recovered after the drops i flared worse than ever. Its now been 1.5 years. My tsw is still itchy and my neck and the tops of my hands
.Somewhere i nevwr had dermatitis or tsw.

Very helpful video on TSW. However, one thing to keep in mind is that everyone has a different genetic makeup. TSW can develop after only 2 weeks. Keep in mind, once your body takes these medications all bets are off. You're playing with fire so be careful

This is the one thing that I feel is wrong. There are a lot of people who present that the Oozey stuff (which I have lots of) is to help heal the skin and should be left on, not wiped off. We all know how hard it is to leave it on because it’s gross. But I don’t think it is waste.

I wish I had seen your video sometime ago. I had a very itchy spot on my leg a few years ago. I scratched it to the point of bleeding at times. I found a dermatologist who said it would get better and began a process of cortisone small injections around the rash and introduced cortisone injections on my hip to help periodically, along with intervals of prednisone pills. The skin problem remained localized in that area. Never had other areas of itching. The area got better off and on, with periods of returned itching at which point the same treatment approach was done. A few years forward with no problems and a few months ago my leg itchiness and scratchiness has come back ( I suspect it's STW) and rashness has appeared on my arms and neck. A dermatologist I just went to diagnosed me with sever eczema, wants me to take prednisone for 2 weeks, and begin Dupixent. I think I started with a bad case of dry skin that has worsened over time on my leg with STW and now it's being treated as an ongoing case of sever eczema to be treated with the Dupixent injections. I'm really interested in your thoughts. I don't want to go to that extent unless it's necessary.

I am taking oral steriods (corticosteroid) on and off whenever flares happen, but now my eczema kinda gets worse, not sure if this is related to TSW. Is taking natural anti- inflammatory advisable, I know curcumin/ turmeric is one. Also, are collagen pills okay?

My flare up or inflammation (fire) was temporarily alleviated with prednisone. I want to make sure I prevent any more use of oral and topical steroids. I'm now going through what seems like another flare up which began on my leg and spread to most of my body (itchy red tiny bumps). I've started clean diet and eliminated inflame producing foods. Can you tell me if I absolutely need to go back to doc and for prednisone, or continue with journey which I think is TSW? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Aloha, Elisha, My name is KJ and I live in Honolulu. It has been a long and tumultuous journey for me with my "eczema" which is actually steroid-induced eczema. I have seen 9 doctors and professionals for this condition on Oahu to no avail. The "top" dermatologist in Honolulu told me that I needed STRONGER steroids, possibly injectable or oral and perhaps methotrexate. I did not take her recommendations. I finally went to see Dr. Marvin Rapaport in L.A. last year, and I am now 15 months into topical steroid withdrawal. It is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I believe this is the only way to true healing and complete freedom from steroids.
