Valery Mikhaylovich Khalilov (1952-2016): March "General Miloradovich", F-Dur/F major, 1992 year. The music is dedicated to the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812 General Mikhail Andreyevich Miloradovich (1771-1825). @@Rustycaddy17. Yes I agree, but I particularly like "Uhlan". You can hear the horses and the harness! It has certain overtones of Malcolm Arnold's march "Padstow Lifeboat", another of my favourites.

A great sounding march. Just love the sound of the soaring Euphoniums and horns. Trombone sections always play with such authority and the light hearted reeds and that piccolo player is fabulous. Why is it all Russians musicians can sing with great style and intonation? I get a kick out the directors minimalist style. There is no doubt he is in total control.
