Loved Clivens. commentary. When you have as much experience and knowledge as he does I am all ears. Reminds me of all the old guys that taught me so much.
I'm right there with you boys when you are roping those cows, I just get to do it from my recliner. For that 30 some minutes I'm back home in Wyoming on the ranch. Thank you and if you can avoid it please don't leave us without good videos for so long. Love you guys keep at it.
Alwas great to see Cliven out there doing what he does,,,, Lost my Dad a few years ago and realized late that wasn;t what anyone was really ready for He was 92 though and just can't last forever sadly,,,,,,,,
Awesome yall have some pretty country out there. Glad no one got hurt I've been there when a rope breaks unfortunately I was unlucky and got ran over and hooked pretty good. God definitely watching over y'all then. Keep cowboying
Love the videos. So glad to see more videos, was afraid you were too busy to video any more. My Dad worked with Cliven back in the late 60’s or early 70’s up in Lake Valley. He has a hard time remembering a lot of things but he remembers Cliven. Thanks again for the videos.
Good save Clance, good loop Arlen. (Roping one facing me is always my toughest loop). At least you have enough to make a bunch of tie strings. I'd love to seen Cliven high stepping around that trailer. Take care Pops, keep on whoop n ride...and driving.
Great video you guys makes us old boys smile and remember the good old days. In the winter up here all I get to ride is my chair. Merry Christmas and have a happy new year .Stay safe.
We're glad you enjoyed it, I’m sure happy to be able to still work with my dad. I’m sorry yours past . But as we all should know God has a better place for all of us brother ❤️
Oh my goodness ❤ I stumbled across your channel and first watched your story unfold many years ago on FB when the government stepped all over your family. To see Cliven is still loving his ranch just melts my heart ❤️ Gods Blessings always to you and your family. 🙏 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🙏
Totally enjoyed Clive's narrative ❤. How you have made the desert work, raising some impressive cattle. Those bulls were good looking. I really like the white face red in the trap. Looking at them, trying to figure out all the breed blends used to make them up. At this point they are a consistent Bundy breed of cattle...❤. When Clive was talking about the hay you are raising yourself. Impressive how you make this all work. Not easy to do. Clancy, get you a set of Legit leggings 😂❤.
Great video, need to have someone teach me how to share this with my Facebook followers. I didn’t spend much time with Cliven but Wild Cow Dave Bundy and Newt Bundy taught me a lot of what I know. It would be fun to share your channel.
What a great video, greetings from Argentina, a very nice prayer, we must always ask the Lord, what a great father you have. Hugs and greetings to everyone, may God bless you.
Another great vid! Great to see Cliven out and liken his camera work too. How about showing us how you get those cattle from the back section to the front section, better put a grinder on that rope cutin latch. God Bless you Cowboys!
Good video, and i enjoy Mr. Cliven"s input. I would really like to hear him talk and show more on the different foilage. Being from SE USA, Alabama, i don't see how those cattle make a living and can't tell the weeds from the feed. Pretty sure Clance will never forget those leggins again, wouldn't be surprised if he sleeps in them 😂.
Great to see Dad doin it with U boys! Love your visions and honoring God's blessings Idea grow some winter forage mix. Beardless Barely beardless wheat rye Oats Montezuma Sierra whatever Oat grows well cut it when the Oats are in lite 2 heavy dough stage! Everything will love it The Hay Dude 51
NASA trailering. Bring some hay, lumber, tools & time to repair & stock the water trap. This looks like the best thing goin' since sliced bread. Oh yeah, your drone could fly over & tell yu if there are cattle in the trap. I like it. Too old to do it but like it. Stay safe!
Hey I’m a big fan I’m from eastern Utah we do the same thing as you guys do me and my family I seen Clancy at the rio hotel and I was all starstruck I forgot to stop him and ask him for a photo and autograph ❤️👍😂
God dam, good to see y'all getting the OG Bundy out there. Trumptastic. Y'all have a new master cameraman right there. Loving his OG cowboy commentary. It still amazes me how those god dam wild cattle even survive out in that desert. Let alone thrive. Is that the organic beef y'all serve up in your Steak House? I do prefer that water trap they use on Anchor Brand Range though. because it continues to work and catch cattle through their style of trap gates. Check it out yall. My nephew's working on a 4 million acres cattle ranch in Australia, and they started using the ABR style water traps to great effect.
Arden have y’all ever thought about using cow halters to load those bulls and big cattle? Then you don’t break ropes. We tie our own cattle halters out of big rope so we can drag them on easy.
Those horses sure take a beating... The theme music on your vid sounds like the Lonesome Dove series... Btw , that series was loosely based on 2 Tx Rangers that were on a cattle drive . (Post ranger career) The Natives had free range throughout the civil war & pushed settlers back to east Tx. After the war , Tx was broke h there were no railroad heads . The biggest cattle depot's were in Kansas & Colorado .. So they got a herd together , and headed for Colorado.. While the rangers were scouting ahead they were attacked by natives . And just as it was in the tv series , one of the rangers took an arrow in the lung. The other ranger went for help and by the time he was able to travel , the wounded ranger showed up.. At first they thought he would survive , but after a wk , he got pneumonia & died. Before he died he ask his long time partner to take him back to Tx & bury him there.. He did just that & the story of their journey was known far & wide . Once the book came out , it went to # 1 for months & then the movie came out which was hugely successful... Those actors played cowboys , but you men are the real deal . I doubt there's another channel like it.
There is absolutely nothing better than listening to old cowboys talk. Your dad needs a GoPro on even when he ain’t punching cattle.
