The work environment stops being work with him around, Taehyung makes people feel comfortable with him. He's someone so warm, with so much charisma, that his joy and enthusiasm is contagious, it's impossible not to adore him, not to smile when you see him happy, know someone like him or more precisely him is to win in life. More than co-workers, they end up becoming a beautiful family, who welcomed Taehyung and made him feel free, he enjoyed working with them so much that it comes across the screen. I can only thank the entire team who was with him for treating Taehyung with respect and affection, the result of that was seeing him with a beautiful smile in each behind-the-scenes video, sharing moments with the team, having a good time, and creating beautiful memories 🥹❤️
I'm not into hiphop and jazz but BTS just changed my heart. Sometimes I think it's kinda unfair to have all these multi-talented young men in one group. Each one of them can have their own career but they are way stronger together as a team.
Thank you for reacting our unique V. FYI, these songs are actually pop, r&b with some elements of jazz. They are not full jazz songs. V is the R&B/ soul crooner with a love for jazz and classical music as well. His live vocals are always way better than the recorded versions. It’s great that he is introducing jazz elements to a new younger audience. It has fallen to the wayside but it’s a genre that has a wide spectrum and is actually one of the more complex styles and is actually a great genre.

Of all the solo albums and mixed tapes the members released, Tae’s Layover is right at the top of everything for me. I love his neo-soul,R&B and Jazz influenced style. One of his greatest influences and favorite singers is Bing Crosby. And it shows in his vocal style though his voice is uniquely his. ARMY went through agonies watching Tae get this album out there - he’d play snippets of songs, we’d love it only to learn he decided it wasn’t good enough and he had deleted the track. 😢
This tiny desk is one of my fav things about 2023. Amazing! As a relatively new Army I didn't fully know what to expect from V, and this took the cake. V and Jhope have my fav solo projects. Glad you enjoyed it. Keep up the great reactions 🫶🏾💜

And jazz is the perfect way to feature his deep, mellow warm liquid voice. And the band and singers are outstanding. I'm so glad you like his tiny concert. I just wish it was longer. I hope he ends up doing concerts in small posh venues, expensive night clubs like in the old times when people sitting at tables and with a candles lights drank martinis and scotch but if he never does at least he got the chance to make an album like the artists he admires. I wish that when BTS is back in 2025, they will still be able to continue their individual path alongside their BTS carrier. 💜
Lory, like you my favourite track from this performance was ‘For Us’. Tae’s voice 🥰 I know this is still Tae’s individual week but you really need to listen to ‘Blue & Grey’, as soon as you can. It was written by Tae during covid, then adapted by the whole group, so it’s an OT7 song now, but it’s still Tae’s original composition. It is heartbreakingly beautiful 💜

This is such an amazing concert. I sent it and JK’s “SNTY” to friends and family who have ZERO interest in finding out why I am so enamored with BTS, and also shared on my only other SM. I think it is exciting that V is opening the door for so many people to learn to appreciate the kind of music he loves. I have always loved this kind of music, but it is exciting g for me as an all around music lover to watch people like you, Lory, discover a new appreciation for something you never thought you would like. That’s what the rap line has done for me. I’ve never liked rap until BTS (unless you found Will Smith’s tap for his old sitcom). 😂

What the introduction of BTS has taught me is that, artists can change musical tastes by listening to their varied genres. Hence, my curiosities into trying different language movies, being open minded about new foods and even wanting to travel has prevented me from being an 'old stick in the mud'... their energy and sincerity is contagious!
Layover era was the most beautiful time for Taehyung and for us his fans. I was seeing the most happy and free Tae doing the music that he loves and surrounding by very talented musicians. This that I want for my bias, I don’t care about fame and successful, I only want Taehyung can do all that he wants in music, in cinema or in fashion. I’m so glad you enjoyed this! It’s not my typical genre of choice either, but I LOVE Tae and Layover is such a relaxing and indeed, tranquil, album. I find that I sometimes have to listen to Tae’s songs a few times before they hook me, but then they get under my skin and sink in and they’re just sooooo good! 💜

The songs on Layover IMO are meant to be performed live and I still wish he could release a live version of it!! in spite of what antis say Bangtan are known to excel in their live skills.. like there's no match.
