Our nieces from England came over for Easter this year and I was able to make them their first Easter basket! Of course the Easter bunny brought it while they were sleeping! 😉

I always, for the 34 years we've been married, have made an Easter basket for my husband. It usually has a chocolate bunny, various Peeps, jelly beans, and bagged mini chocolates. Also I dye eggs and hide them for him. Crazy, but it's a tradition.

We are Reese fans in our house but my , almost grown, children love a chocolate orange at Christmas. We got them actual Terry's oranges for Christmas last year and they loved it. I did tell them I am not doing Easter baskets for them this year, they have their own money lol. I will still get them something though. you guys definitely have better Easter candy than we do in the USA. We always get the same candy in pastel colored wrappers - nothing really new or different. We grew up getting Easter baskets full of candy and one toy, with green plastic grass and wrapped in colored cellophane. Very ornate and colorful.
I do feel like we are starting to get a little more creative in the UK now haha. Never used to be! Love all of the new products!

Happy Easter from a Brit in ohio USA. We do a mix of British chocolate eggs, dairy milk, a chocolate egg filled with mini eggs, and a lot of other British goodies in a baske,. So mixing the 2 countries together, and a few small gifts 😊

I raised my granddaughter and had a fit that the Easter bunny came in the house. Same as Santa. So I needed to leave her treats and presents out on the back deck.😂😂😂😂😂

I started making my kids baskets with things they’ll need for spring and summer. Whether that be a new bathing suit, a size up in sandals, a new ball cap or sunglasses, a new cup because theirs is worn, etc. things I would regularly purchase them but just save and make it cute in a basket. Then add in some inexpensive just for fun things! Like chalk, and bubbles!! I don’t do candy, because they’ll get plenty from family and at Easter egg hunts. But growing up, our baskets were exclusively candy.

When my daughters were young, I always made an Easter Hunt of following clues that they had to hop to the next location which always ended with finding their baskets in the bathtub. The bathtub was able to be closed of so our dogs didn't get to the candy first!
My mom and I are trying a new Easter egg hunt we saw online this year. In each egg there’s a piece of paper with a letter on it. You collect the letters, and spell a word. Once you spell the word, you get the item. “Cash” “candy” “treat” “toy” whatever words you want to use really. Just to help the egg hunt last a little longer than 3 minutes!! Haha and he’s just started to read and spell (he’s 6) and he’s really into it! 😂❤
This way too your prizes can just be 1 bag of something and doesn’t have to fit in the eggs.
My mom got prizes from the dollar tree and dollar general. So it’s nothing crazy.

We definitely need different than the usual Easter candy here in the states. So boring with none of the novelties. No wonder they're putting other stuff in the baskets. The one basket I remember as a kid was one with just 3 different sized good chocolate bunnies. Wishing that store delivered across the pond ; I'll take one of each.

I only get easter candy after it's on discount, I don't celebrate so I'll take whatever chocolates that are on full discount in a few days after.

I don't know why but my mother's mother for Easter would give my mother and her siblings Reese's eggs and my one Aunt would get black jelly beans cuz she likes them yuck but she would also give all of us grandkids Easter baskets when we were younger which there was like 10 of us and then after we turned adults she gave us the eggs too instead but sadly because her health changed last year she couldn't do it anymore
