    "This is better than anything on RAW!"
    That has been the catchphrase for these reviews since the beginning. 😂

      Because up till this moment, it has been, But like they say on the second to the last episode of this month….
      This TRULY was the end.
      There will obviously be some good segments here and there on Nitro, but from this moment on, WWF is starting to build to Rock Austin, they are gonna have Taker Austin throughout the Summer, Hunter is about to become one of the most successful heels ever, I mean, it is now well and truly over. WWF goes off like a bomb starting next week, and there just isn’t anything WCW could have done even if they were competently run, but the fact they were incompetent makes it so much worse.
      I’m not sure there has ever been such a clash of quality in television than mid 99 through 2000 WWF and WCW. You are looking at what moment people consider WWF/WWE strongest 18 months of TV ever, compared to what is OBJECTIVELY WCW’s worse 18 months they had. Do they probably die even with out Rock becoming a mega star and Hunter becoming an Ace heel, yeah, probably, but god knows it didn’t help.

    My dad worked for an advertising agency in Atlanta that had a contract with WCW in 1999. He told me that during a conference call with a lot of the WCW executives Eric Bischoff farted loudly when he thought the call was on mute. Everyone heard the fart but had to pretend like it didn’t happen.

    Alvarez looking up slang terms in the Urban Dictionary made my night. Thank you, fellow smart mark!

    Seriously Even As an almost 11 year old at the time . I watched the Vincent Vs Ernest Miller match and I was gobsmacked at how badly uncoordinated and poorly finished that it was. A truly horrendous wrestling match because Miller was green as f still in 99 and Virgil after a decade in the business was literally the drizzling sh*ts

    I know the guest hosts donate to a good cause but they are always so terrible

      *They all seemed to conform to the stereotype of wrestling fans being socially awkward/incompetent.*

    Come on guys, Nash cleanly put over Rey Mysterio. As a kid it completely blew my mind seeing an unmasked Rey looking younger than me at the time (I was 10) beating Nash

      Really good, thanks for asking. My life has been crazy busy lately. I am getting ready for Gastric Bypass surgery next month and also running for public office AND just started a new job. I am pretty much only home so I can sleep and occasionally post a video/do a podcast

    Oh, Bischoff and Flair can handle themselves in Minnesota in winter time. Didn't they both work with Verne Gagne at one time?

    • @krazyeman4
      @krazyeman4  Рік тому +1

      Yeah but for Bischoff it had been around 8 or 9 years since he moved to Atlanta and Flair left the AWA in what? 75? 74?

      It's a reward for people donating a lot of money to Bryan's wife's charity.
