This is a great demonstration of how consistently horrible luck can still be turned into a win!
Its almost painful to watch the noobs with such a huge advantage play so terribly. They could have easily taken him out and got even more cards but they didn't.
Digi: "Can i get a trade on 3?"
Risk: "Best i can do is a dude trade on 5."
FEATURED
I actually learnt a tonne from watching this game. Your decision making under pressure is elite to be honest. When you decide to try and hold, when you allow your opponents an easy break, cleverly fortifying in the right positions, slider blitzing that bot stack to ensure you hold the board for another turn... A lot of really good learning material in this game. Well played sir.
Ha Pink really thought you were a pushover 😂 well we all have to learn that lesson sometimes
I may have gotten horrible dice on their stack but killing them felt great
9:20 cavalry
11:30 artillery
13:07 all
17:32 infantry
18:16 artillery
20:44 cavalry
22:27 infantry
26:20 infantry
29:57 infantry
32:20 all
35:16 all
39:20 all
44:52 all
48:11 artillery
49:09 artillery
52:08 infantry
It felt like more infantry
probably because the infantry came at more pivotal moments, so their weight could be felt more, or lack there of lol
it's just cognitive bias
Orange and Yellow, were definately friends or at least didn't understand that you won the game because you had the better positioning. Yellow was determined to have you attack orange so he would win the game.
There is potential that Orange and Yellow were the same account, and he was ranking up his main account, and wanted you to attack and lose all your troops so his main won (i.e yellow) but then again if it was the same account then i dont get why orange wouldnt just slam you.
Very weird game and yellow and orange were definitely both not great players, there best play was always to slam and get 2nd place, because the longer trading went on, you got bigger and bigger, and with yellow been a complete tit and obvious about his intentions, it made it very easy for you to just kill him, because he was the one slowing the game down.
If yellow slammed orange then he gets 2nd place, if he slams you, then he more than likely also gets 2nd place. In no circumstance does yellow win this game unless you attack orange as he was sandwiched in between 2 players.
Also, I completely agree that pinks north america break was a very bad play.
I think alot of RISK players don't understand that having someone on your side by not breaking them is more valuable than breaking them and denying 2-5 extra troops. If you piss someone off, they are going to attack you more than others and in the long run its hurts you more than helps you.
Very poor decision making by the enemies in this game.

Digi: "No dude. Don't put interior guards up. Do something with your life bro!"
Me: "Is that like a personal attack or something?"
Yeah
This game was presented by Kylted. "Kylted, dudes love him."
Hahahaha
I wonder at what point did Pink finally leave the lobby?
Good question lol
Probably the same time orange did or he just saw after laughing that he took back his land and started gaining on them
I hate players like yellow lmao, they think alliances mean you do their bidding while they sit guarding their bonus 😂
My man went from Smurf to Oompa Loompa in one video. Love the content brother, keep it up!
Hi digi that was fun game,i laught so mach when i saw your last trade just before you finish the game DUDES TRADE AGAIN!!!
Lol nothing but dudes!
Digi was throwing a bachelor party this game. Nothing but a bunch of dudes
*Rings Doorbell* " Hello, do you have a moment to discuss pathing during the red kill"
:(
digi: how many dude trade will i get?
RNG: Yes
What a game… Thanks for putting it up.
The orange left out of respect
YAY!! I had enough time to cook and eat my breakfast this time!! Great vid as always Digi.
"digi can I press the like button"
Digi: 6:58🤣
I thought something was wrong since it was 10:00am and i still saw no upload. Glad everything is ok. Now to watch the video
I thought I could get the editing done in time but I was wrong by two hours lol
This match was absolute insanity, Yellow has no concept of cooperative play (sometimes you've just got to eat the loss for second my guy, it's ok) and even not being botted orange looked like this was their first Risk game ever 🤔
If you taught a masterclass in patience, this would be the pilot video.
Great win!!!
bros got that main character plot armor this match
Pink is rolling in their grave lmao what an end
What a close 3 way fight
Nice man, ty for the video
My pleasure !
as soon as you killed yellow player the orange botted, very suspicious
Good video as always
Thanks!
wow. I had 2 weeks holiday and wasn't watching your videos. Now you're at 6k subs and with the new camera. Damn man great job
No disrespect when I say this and you might not notice it, but you rock back and forth a lot and it makes me smile but wonder a lot too
I was inspired by this game and captured a tiger in my honeypot, but now ive got his tail and hes rather mad.
Such a stressful game to watch!
Definitely worth the longer run time
this game is unreal.
Digi: I make alliances with a strategic player like it’s a big decision……. And then I just make alliances with everyone.
I have no idea how you won that one. Not only were you rarely allowed to hold a continent, but you were infested with dude trades. Crazy game.
The way that you destroyed this bot is what I have to learn
nice! To be honest, even against a human player who just downloaded the app, you generally lose 1v1s at a 2:1 disadvantage. That being said, yellow's stupidity was adequately addressed. Personally I take guaranteed second in those situations 100% of the time. I mean it's pretty simple, the only way you get first in that endgame is if someone helps you out. If neither player is willing to give you first and take second, guess you're the kingmaker then.
You know how good this video will be if it is 50 minutes long.
✌️
I think they were both friends and sat and helped each other and then you killed one of them and then the other got mad
24:26 4v3 is crazy
A 4v3 blitz also lol
Comment for the algorithm
closing out the game with a dude trade, it's poetic.
Really satisfying to secure the W from players like yellow and pink. Hope they were seething
The reason you didn't kill orange for 4 cards is because they are crazy? you had 3-1 troop advantage there!
Killing 28 troops for 3 cards is bad value. Sure it progresses the game, but I chose to keep orange in since their large army was face to face with yellows army. I felt like that levy was going to break so I left them in the game. To kill or not to kill a player is a judgment call and you can strategically leave a player alive if you feel that it is correct in the situation. Not saying I was right, but I went with my gut on orange.
64 against 28 for another trade... And then because you got broken twice you(what should of been a) suicide into pink. Come on man! I love your channel and all but ya got lucky in this one!
@@waynejones3844 pink wasn’t even close to a suicide kill. Both of my remaining opponents had their stacks locked and were both much smaller than me before the kill. They couldn’t even break me in australia after the kill if they tried. Even with that absolute terrible roll on pinks stack my troops numbers came out even with orange and only 15 behind yellow, and that’s before counting my trade and territory bonus on the next turn. All I did was rebalance the game with the pink kill
I need to ask, at 40:44 you said you didnt need cards and just skipped attacking. why not just take a card in central europe from scandinavia ?
That would close my ukraine army. Not worth the value of a card.
sure, but you could have taken UK or iceland as well, but yeah i understand that it's easy to sit and watch and see things someone "should" have done when there is no timer :) Keep up with the vidz, I like them
@@Joakimuddeby but I wouldn’t have done that either because you would have to lock your big army or split it up into two smaller, more vulnerable guard armies. Plus your advancement could trigger an attack. All this for three cards in fixed. Totally not worth. I’m out producing both my opponents combined with two massive armies ready to attack. No need to take cards at all.
Hey digi, great vids! Minor constructive feedback, either your mic is slightly quieter or the volume of the vid that your posting is low... my phones volume is nearly full blast and im just comfortably hearing you, but when an ad pops up its a race to turn it down and back up to hear you again. Thanks!!
Just wondering (as the noob i am in this game), why did you not take the asia + australia two point hold when you had the chance?
All them dudes all the way to the end, hey they are nothing if not consistent.
Does anyone know what changes are made, in the Risk game online, when the current ranking season (13) ends in a few days..? Is there just casual games available, or is something else put in place…? When would season 14 start…? Cheers.
"I can take australia next turn and I can leave cyan blocked" What colour are you?
*Siam
@@digitallic yea I heard cyan not siam srry..
Lol@ yellow
“Do all the dirty work, I’m a novice.”
🤦🏻♂️ funny, yet pathetic.
: )
I don't understand why you didn't initiate an attack against orange with yellow? Yellow did show a couple of turns of minor potshots, but you didn't do any potshots of your own in the same turns.
I had no intentions of working with the yellow player, lol
Your luck these days is crazy
If you accept my alliance I'll give you thumbs up
100th like!
Did you change your username to Kylted?? Never seen so many dude trades in my life 🤣🤣🤣
Do u have a thing about honeypot? Like u have to use that term 10 times to trigger the algorithm or sumthin?
Love watching your videos and watching your gameplay, but can't watch it with my younger boys due to the language. Would love it if you could clean it up a little.
Oh boy that yellow player wanted to threaten you but never followed it up. Not very insightful of him.
Hi, maybe a stupid question, but what do you mean when you refer to a 'honeypot'?
When one or more blizzards block chokepoints accessing a continent so it can be held at fewer guard territories. Less skilled players will fight to the death over honeypots just like they do over AUS. Just as with AUS, if you can get a honeypot without destroying your game, it may be valuable, although there was an example of a worthless early honeypot in Africa in this game. When there are 5 or 6 players, so the 5 bonuses that are not Asia are taken, the Africa player is sandwiched between EU and SA so if their externals are lost they can't get cards. Once it got down to 3 players it was possible to hold Africa but Digitallic showed that the 2 point Asia+AUS was a better position if you could hold it.
Holding whole continents in risk give you extra troops as a bonus. Sometimes, when playing with blizzards, it creates a situation where you can hold a bonus or even two bonuses whilst only needing to defend one or two territories.
Digi calls them honeypots, because they have one entrance and give sweet rewards, I guess? But it just means you can get a whole lot of troops pretty easily, which is normally pretty difficult.
Obviously the catch is that usually all the other players want the honeypot as well, like yellow and red at the start of this game so they're not always worth going for!
@@davidholland4713oh thanks for the explanation!
@@timcornah9815thank you!
A comment 12
you could have just held asia and australia the entire time to put 15 in every turn against their 6 but you decided to go for the memes and actually won it wtfff
Held asia and australia the entire time? Not a chance.
@@digitallic idk how to play the game i just assumed you were memeing, it was very funny good job on the win
helloooooooooooooo
Helllllo
Very satisfying to watch Yellow get what they deserve. I hate players like that
No comment of the day 😢
Where's the comment of the day🥺
How??? Lol these are the games that it looks like the game wants to kill you with those dude trades and no traded on 4 but then you got amazing rolls at end to destroy yellow
Of all the times to bot out that has got to be the worst timing
Why didn’t you just hold the 2 choke point at Mexico and Spain? Sit back, getting lots of troops and get twice as strong than they were. They would have had to attack each eachother for second place and you would only have to clean up…
I think you won because something was fishy. The bot-out came after you killed their friend. Either that or just more players who refuse to progress the game and don't understand game balance or how to use diplomacy for mutual benefit. Bet that kill and that win felt good.
Nah I don’t think so. If they were friends they wouldn’t be constantly locking their stacks against eachothers. Just not good players.
Plus, why would orange bot when his “friend” got killed? More than likely orange wanted the game to be over and assumed his bot would win.
I’ve had it more than once where I’ve suicided for second and the last remaining player bots, think that they think the expert AI is actually hard to beat. Or at-least hard with a large deficit.
I’d lay money on the fact they weren’t friends. Just not very good players
@@liamjames2956, I agree. It is strange to see the bot out and the weird way yellow moved (or, rather, *failed* to meaningfully move) when messaging 'attack orange', but I definitely see that as a selfish play rather than coordination with orange. Yellow aimed to manipulate digi into weakening orange and then win the whole thing.
In my mind, that consistent stack lock against each other indicated 'no coordination'. Friendship requires trust, and these two seemingly had none between them
So it's not so much a lucky game after all
man you call out yellow the whole time for not attacking orange while yellow is attacking the whole time and you're sitting back xD saying yellow has a clear path to kill orange when they are long gone from their lead and orange has far more troops. backseat gaming at it's finest bro
Yellow attacked orange once. They attacked me 4 times. The reason I’m telling yellow to attack orange is because that’s the only way I’ll give them second. I was trying to get them to stop fortifying into my face and they kept doing it so they were handed third place. If yellow wanted to actually work with me as an ally they shouldn’t have broken australia and since they were first in the turn order they naturally should have been first to attack orange and I would follow suit.
