I remember a bug in the first level where the robot gun would persist if you entered the aircraft within a certain timespan. There also was a way to run off the map at the snow cliff.
A very entertaining video! I played this game for the first time ever for a Twitch stream a couple months back, and experienced some of these glitches by accident. (Namely how Baku defeats himself in your boss battle with him.) I love glitchy games like this, it just is plain fun.
It's amazing when I was a kid playing this game, I did ALL of these glitches just too crack myself up countless times or just to see what would happen! xD
Hahaha. This brings back some good memories. I was fortunate enough to come across this years ago in small computer shop. I had never heard of it until that moment and it looked so lonely sitting in the used game bin. It was also my first exposure to the whole anime style. I booted it up for the first time and was instantly confused by the silly, melodramatic theme song and the copious amounts of blood.
The most memorable glitches from this game were when a huge Sanjuro appeared in MCA levels and a tiny MCA appeared in the infantry levels. Made weirder by how the tiny MCA still killed people on touch.
how you pulled off that glitch? i managed to do it once using the change mech cheat code with noclip but only once, maybe you knew a better way to do that? i would like to play it again but reversed
As a kid I made a glitch appear when you fight Baku like at 8:46 in the video and on the level afterwards I was on foot and I had the Juggernaut of the MCA. I have no idea how I did that.

do you know how to pull that glitch to use the mca in onfoot missions and viceversa? i remember doing it with the cheat to change the robot midgame but couldnt make it work again any advice?
