    My wife and I use Paprika. It’s nice because we use it to store our recipes and we can add things to our grocery list for a recipe straight from the recipe. It also has meal planning.

    Thanks for sharing Tom. Loved the pun lol. Bring is a fantastic grocery list app! I love how they use icons. I find it easier to identify the item I'm looking for. There's something I haven't seen any grocery list app do right so far and that's helping prevent you from getting lost or bouncing back and forth between aisles.

      Thanks Patrick! It also sorts your groceries depending on the order you tick them off so it matches even better where you are at in the store. 👍

    I would like to add that what is a plus point about this app: couples that use both apple and android can use it. The app is not only for Apple products! 😊

    What I miss in this app is that household members can not ‘reserve’ a product of the list and put their name on it. If that were possible it would minimize the chance of different members buying the same thing in a period of time.

    We use Microsoft ToDos because he is android, and I am Apple based but we both use PCs. Everything is synced. Anything that is ticked can be kept in Completed so buying again means just scrolling and untick. I will give Bring a try. Thanks for sharing this.

    Bring! Has had some recent updates so you can organise by section now. Also Tom didn’t mention the Alexa Skill, Google Assistant and Siri integration available. It is one of the best grocery list managers.

      I use it in combination with iPhone where I setup my lists and then tick them off on the Apple Watch. Works great!

    Good tool Tom, thank you for sharing it! Cool the feature that allows the app to learn the timing/order of purchase, but is it possible to manually group (tag) products (we use it to group together similar goods that we find in specific areas of the market)?

    • @paperlessmove
      @paperlessmove 3 роки тому

      Tagging isn’t possible. However, you can create different lists which does the trick you are after 👍

      What you can do is assign one of the existing sections (like Fruit & Vegetables) to a product. So your product will then be sorted according to the assigned section on your shopping list. You can also rearrange your sections per list. So for example if your grocery store has arranged Milk & Pastries before Fruits & Vegetables, just rearrange the sections in the list settings and your good to go :)
