This whole video from start to finish was awesome. Minus the belt issue of course. That looked so cool coming down and hitting the little jumps and watching the sleds just disappear. That looks so fun. Thanks for taking us along.
Dude, you're so close to the 100k. I've been a subscriber for 3 years. I'm a total never snow guy, driving across the Rocky Mountains to dry dirt and ride my dirt bike... But I enjoy riding my bike so much more watching how you guys have fun. Thanks for the Vids Matt!!
Jerry #?? here...I've been quietly binching on your channel for a couple weeks now...subbed after the 2nd vid. Can't seem to get enough...your laugh is contagious. Heading out on my '22 Expedition tomorrow with some buddies...ice fishing and exploring some hills and backcountry...nothing like you guys but fun enough for a Jerry. Cheers, man!
so ride it till it breaks, well this season that doesn't seem to take very long at all. Still enjoy the deep pow content. Hope to take a trip next season and this just keeps me wanting it to be 2024 already. Keep it up Matt.
So rad! I was on Frisby yesterday (Monday Feb 27) messing around with some other amateurs and waiting for some sun. We gave up about 2pm, got back to Glacier House and just when I got loaded up for the long drive home to Seattle the skies finally cleared and the sun came out. 🤦♂️
It’s also worth mentioning that on my way home to Seattle today I listened to 3 snowmobiling podcasts (509 Fueling Your Passion and The SnoWest Show) and Muskoka Matt was mentioned in each one including a long discussion about the great content in SnoWest #12. So many significant people in the industry love and appreciate this great channel. So do fans like me!
So awesome to see you guys had the same conditions we did in Blue River the last few days! Also, where can I find footage of that nutty drop Andreas and the boys built?
Old sledders tip: to increase 2stroke engine durability -- even though the sled is auto oil injection , you can add mixed the gas in the tank aswell -- basically dosing the oil protection -- increase oil till just before foul -- the engine really does last longer that way // --- - optional other method: you can add home heating oil/kerosene to the gas tank ..not crazy , several of us have done this quite alot ..fun trivia: in India you can buy car gasoline at the pump that is 50/50 kerosene -- 50/50 is too much for cold weather starts but 10 20 or 30% works -- i burned 2000liters of kerosene/home heating oil in my quads and sleds over the years -- the kerosene was just sitting in a tank as the house no longer used that fuel type so i thought I try to burn it and it works good , engines even run a bit smoother/quieter with it mixed in the gas
The only snowmobile I’ve ever held wide open for along time was 2009 Yamaha Nytro XTX 144” with 9500 miles, I was in the last year of my Yamaha extended warranty and I was trying to blow it up couldn’t do it though, I basically held it as wide open as I could across a lake for 45 miles, filled it back up with gas and did the same thing. It went back to the dealer for a recall later and I had them do a compression test and all three cylinders were 205 which was in center of the factory spec, sled doesn’t get much use now but still runs amazing at over 12,000 miles I’ve had a number of sleds since but still have this one
That drainage was incredible. Could spend a whole day just makin your way up 10’ at a time. And all the banked areas to play on the way back down for another run back up 😝👌😎🤙
@@jacksonridesmachines15865 The Polaris has kept him riding this season and last. I'd be praising them for keeping the content coming but that's just me being fair. Wished other people could do the same.
So jealous of you guys, haven't really been able to ride this season since theres barely been any snow, which is unusual for where i live (far north sweden). No wonder Andreas is ripping in Canada nowadays :D is there footage of the jump btw?
up on boulder yesterday i had my sled pinned wide open for about 60 seconds. i felt bad for it, but then i realized that's why i pay money to sled, so i can do those things to it.
In snowbird I saw 52" in on night and my roommate stepped out the door. On the second floor as he said "get the fuck up, lets go" then he took a 20'r leaving the house. That is what you snow looks like Amaezballs
Matt next time you have a day where the conditions aren’t great or you take a day off from riding will you make a video about your gear (I know you did one already) but slightly more in depth kinda comparing some different gear you’ve had in the past. I am currently having a hard time finding goggles that I like, do you bring two sets each day so when one dogs you can switch? I have heated 509’s and they are garbage IMO and another 509 set that I use with magnetic lenses so I can switch between them. While one is on I have one lenses in the compartment in front of handlebars. Also I remember not long ago you said you were gonna show us a bit about what you have in your packout and what you take with you, I would just really like to see that video if you have time. Thanks and I really enjoy the videos, watch them every day.
AWESOME VID TO WATCH!!!! NICE TO SEE THE TURBO MADE IT OUT. WHAT IS UP WITH THE 9R'S BLOWING PLUGS LIKE THAT??? MUST BE DETO IS ALL I CAN THINK OF. MY HIGH COMPRESSION DRAG SLEDS NEVER DID THAT.
One more thing i forgot to add. I live in northeast pa and we never get good snow anymore. I mean not at all and if we go riding we have to trailer all the way to tughill ny or old forge ny which is about 5 hrs away. so i'd want to come out west rent a place for at least 3 months.
Polaris, and now Arctic Cat, have a drive belt instead of a chain case. It's a lighter mass to spin and frees-up horsepower. Doo are the only ones who still uses a chain case.
8 hrs after Matt posted this video, there has been over 22K views and more than 1.2K Likes !!! So how cool is that ??? Keep up the great work Matt, stay safe out there. P.S: I put my comment before watching the video, should be a good one based on the Title … 😳😳😳.
I was expecting something to go on the Polaris on the last video already looks like you were driving it hard, so something would break and you could get back on the Skidoo turbo, which is obviously the right thing to doo LOL
