Hope you're all having a really lovely morning/day/evening!
This is a very quick video, but I really wanted to share these thoughts and feelings with ye, while also making this very exciting step forward. I realise selling stickers might seem like a small thing, but it's a good step for me. XD

I'm getting to this video super later because I am super behind in my UA-cam feed, but it's so cool to see you promoting yourself more! I still love the commission I got from you awhile back and would love to support you full time! I just got back to a good place financially, so I can schedule donations. I first got into your work through your Nuzlocke, but stayed around because I just love everything you make. Original characters, sketchbooks, stickers, etc. It's all rad! I'm far from an art authority, but I hope this little nudge might encourage you further. You are great and you make great stuff! Don't downplay what you do!

@@french-teapot I want to stay I started reading somewhere between chapters 30 and 35, so a lot of the comic had already been made. Having to watch THAT death happen "live" when I caught up was devastating, but it was super cool seeing how your paneling has changed over the years.
The stickers are so cute! Promoting yourself can feel super weird sometimes! I get it! I constantly feel like I’m shouting into the void on social media & UA-cam, when I send an email to my email subs, etc. You’re so not alone in this. I’ve been dealing with these feeling a LOT for the last 2 years and I’ve been a full time artist for 11 years and business ebbs and flows (it’s been in the ebb state since 2021🫤) so lots of self doubt has crept in. But I also know that a lot of indie artists I know personally are also having the same challenges and struggles. But just know that it’s not reflective of the beautiful work you share, it’s just something that is often out of our hands. We can’t control the algorithm, we can on,y make and share and eventually the eyes will indeed land on our art and that person will take action to support us. There are SO many talented and amazing creatives out in the world that go unrecognized and give up because they get the encouragement they so need in order to feel motivated. For time being, some of us just have to keep encouraging ourselves and keep on trucking. It will all pay off in time, I promise ❤

It's so hard not to let your self-criticism take over for sure. But it's good to know that at least everyone kind of feels the same way, which isn't good that they do, but it helps y'know? XD Everyone can encourage each other and offer help if they can cos we all understand how hard it can be.
But you're right! The key is to keep powering through, and having faith in your own work and that it speaks for itself. It's so much easier to boost someone else's art because you can see how much merit it has, but it's tough for your own. We have to try! Our work is great Debbie! 💖
