I cry every time I hear him sing ABBA. I went through a tragedy at the same time I first heard his audition. He helped me through some dark times. His smile alone gives me hope.

His heart breaks every time they break the Idols down. He bonds with every body. I see that he feels more sadness when his friends leave than him being happy that he’s still in American Idol. It just breaks my heart 😭

I do the same, I listen to and watch Iam's songs and videos all day everyday. I have to charge my phone multiple times a day. I have changed my listening preference to Hawai'ian music, even at night I listen and when I hear Iam's voice I wake up and repeat the songs. He's the best of the best.

I am from the UK and now live in Thailand after retiring. I have seen and heard so many great singers in my 60 odd years on this planet but NONE have had me crying like a baby like Iam Tongi. I watched your recation to his initial audition when he sang Monsters but I was about 20 times worse . The tears were rolling down my face and luckily I was in the house alone. My neighbour is from Hawaii and I told him to watch American Idol as I told him this kid was going to win. I am now downloading everything that I can find including the songs he recorded with his Dad. It is all breathtakingly beautiful. Your facial expressions and feelings you have for this superstar are echoed all over the planet. He has no boundaries and he has had his mishaps with the guitar and being emotional but he has risen above it all. Huge credit to Rodney and Lillie his Mum for bringing him into this world to make it a much better place and Congratulation to Iam Tongi - you are a WINNER!!!!

First time I saw his audition video I was a mess, lost my mom almost 10 years ago, and all the pent up emotions, never allowed to rise to the surface, just came bursting out. The ones who want to change him and mold him into the next best thing. What people haven’t realized yet is he is already there. I am from the UK and now live in Thailand after retiring. I have seen and heard so many great singers in my 60 odd years on this planet but NONE have had me crying like a baby like Iam Tongi. I watched your recation to his initial audition when he sang Monsters but I was about 20 times worse . The tears were rolling down my face and luckily I was in the house alone. My neighbour is from Hawaii and I told him to watch American Idol as I told him this kid was going to win. I am now downloading everything that I can find including the songs he recorded with his Dad. It is all breathtakingly beautiful. Your facial expressions and feelings you have for this superstar are echoed all over the planet. He has no boundaries and he has had his mishaps with the guitar and being emotional but he has risen above it all. Huge credit to Rodney and Lillie his Mum for bringing him into this world to make it a much better place and Congratulation to Iam Tongi - you are a WINNER!!!!
