Okay this confirmed what I started doing today. For some reason after 2 years of running and Muay Thai, the last Race I did I'm not struggling with Achilles pain. I've tried a lot of things and it feels like slant board usage has really helped alleviate the pain some. Will start doing these a few times a week. Also that second hold has my glutes firing as a bonus. 🤣

for a few seconds I was thinking "what is up with that crazy earring?" I'm a dunce, but found this video more helpful than any other video I've watched. Will keep coming back to it
I know it's individual to people and you mention yourself about different angles but what would be the optimum angle/level to set the board at? I have an adjustable one with 4 settings. Thanks.
it's the same concept as a one-arm pushup versus a standard pushup. Or a one-leg squat versus a two-leg squat. You're getting more weight on that one leg and therefore getting a deeper stretch.
I feel more pain and tightness in my ankle instead of the 'stretch'. Probably scar tissue from multiple ankle sprains on both feet. Any tips or should I just keep at it?
Most likely impingement in the joint. Have you tried band distractions, checking the biomechanics of the foot motion, external rotation of your femurs/internal rotation of your tibias? If you’re feeling pain with blocked mobility it’s likely something that needs to be addressed before you’ll make meaningful progress
Hello Dean. I have been using your book for a few months and have subsrcibed to your channel like both a lot. would you consider posting the routines you have in the book? Do you lock the Knee when the leg is straight?

Um, this routine
Thank you this was so Very informative .
Thank you
You're very welcome! Hope you found this routine helpful.
I use to stand on the edge of a side walk, & lift up & down what a stretch work out😄😃
Hey, that works too!
Thank you! Totally need this 👍
That's great to hear Daniel! The timing was perfect.
I tried prop alternatives to a real slant board for awhile, but there is nothing like a real slant board for most of the exercises possible on it.
Thank you for the feedback!
I've been using a slant board to assistwith my dosiflexion ROM after a tri-mal break. Works well!
Great to hear, thank you for sharing!
I've seen these before and wasnt sure if I should buy it or not. Now it really does look very convenient if tight on schedule.
It's definitely worth looking into. But you can also use a yoga block or stack of books. Where's there a will, there's a way.
Thanks for the tips. Chill dog .
You got it! Glad you found them helpful.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it Ricardo! Hope you find it helpful :)

That'll depend on the person
Can you address the benefit of doing one side at a time versus working with both legs at the same time. thank you

Do you lock the Knee when the leg is straight?
I feel the stretch more in my shins when my leg is bent. That normal?
Can I stand on it for 30 minutes?
Eventually (maybe) but you shouldn't start at 30
Use the slant board with toes pointing down also..Learn to do squats with toes pointing down
My ankles are so bad. I need an angle board to lunlock them... hopefully I don't injur myself!
Can you squat with dumbbells or a barbell on that thing ?
