hii, i'm an aspiring pre-med student, waiting for case's response to my application and i was wondering what your major is and if you could tell me if you recommend cwru for me (as a pre-med student)? especially considering research opportunities (if there's "enough room" for every pre-med student lol) and if there's help from counselors to help us get the most out of the available opportunities? since i'm debating between 2 colleges (case being the "bigger" campus) i hope that by getting your insight i can decide where to go :)
Hey! I asked a few upperclassmen to try and curate the best response. Compared to other schools, I think Case definitely has a lot of opportunities for the students. Apparently, Case has been changing the system to accommodate the students better, so it should only get better from here. Also, not every student is expected to have the same "ideal" resume. That being said, there is a lot of volunteering, work, research, and club opportunities for which every student has different attractions, so there being "no space" shouldn't be a worry. Case also has a strong grad, med, and dental school and many professionals working in labs or hospitals, so connections are guaranteed if you look around. In the end, wherever you end up going, you get the most out of the college experience by what you put in. I hope that helped and wish you the best with the college decisions :)
@@sophiaheo thank you so much for the thought, time and effort that went into your answer :)) sorry for the random question, but do you happen to know anyone commuting? since i live pretty close to campus (and it’s much more affordable haha) i’ll probably be commuting, do you think i’ll miss out on a lot of things?
@@sophiaheoheyy, I’m applying transfer to case for fall 2025 and I was wondering if you could tell me what you wrote your essay about, and how I can make myself a better candidate for case. I’m trying to find out as much as possible about case, but so far, I love what I’ve seen and learned. Thanks!
