  • In this video I’m sharing my experience of purchasing 85 kg of used Lego. The video is split into two parts: in the first one I explain why I decided to jump the gun on such a large purchase (2700€) and in second part I share my takeaways from processing that amount or lego, in other words best practices that I developed for myself.

Good tips! You can tell the person that sold it doesn't know much about Lego because sorting by colour is a nightmare for trying to build anything!

I had a talk with a guy and he knows a lot actually but not everything since he was coming back to hobby after very long time, he was actually kind of sad that he had to sell :(

I mean so is soly sorting by type if you have alot of lego... So yeah honestly both is best and those special containers(Just small ones) cost around the same as normal containers. And the trick is sort by typoe with small containter and put them in big containers by color.

Great video by the way and over 100 pounds of bulk lego has always been a fun idea to me... But man would I'd rather just buy what I need for a MOLOC then even dig into my near million pieces collection.

bricklink has a studio program that you can use to digitally make you moc.
The main reason to buy bulk is to fill out so extra bricks or if you want to be a seller.

A new channel that immediately interests me? That's a sub from me bro haha Thanks for the tips, I didn't even know about Brickognize! Absolutely using that for the collection of my auntie-in-law, who's trying to sell her hugely disorganized Lego collection 😁

I already did that and didn't film it unfortunately, but might share some more cool findings

While lego can be expensive it can also be cheap if you only rearly buy sets above $100 and never buy sets off sale and mainly build mocs with sub $1 elements or only using bulk lego.

definitely this works, but generally speaking it's pretty costly still but yeah for me personally I hunt for sales and good second hand deals

@@br1ckmate Yeah I get that but I'm fortunate enough to be able to compair it personally with alot of other hobbies and it's kinda mid.
