- This clip summarizes my first experiences in designing and building vibration gloves for the treatment of my Parkinson symptoms. The glove principle is based on research work reported by the group of prof. Peter Tass at Stanford University. Here two links to interesting articles from this group:

-research article with in-depth information: www.frontiersi...
I just finished a "glove', really just tips cut off gloves using Arduino and motor shields.
We are very impressed with your work specifically the finger tip modules. Now we are settling in for the long haul, at least twice a day 24 x7. There is a fellow in California that did the whole official Sanford program and he and others had measurable results. Keep posting and good luck.
Thanks for the feedback and much success with your gloves use!
Hello, Have you had any benefits?
Do the hands mirror each other please?
I've been waiting for the availability of the Stanford glove but it may take years before it is released to the public. Please contact me with further details about how I can fabricate these gloves.
Thank You ! Your gloves are so well designed. The FDA in America WILL NOT keep these glove from HEALING the people around the world. If only Elon Musk of Neurolink would take up the cause. Please send him your video. Or maybe Bryan Johnson and his company KERNEL. GOOD LUCK.
Great work, any chance of a shopping list of the parts needed please
Did you ever get this? I am looking to construct one for a friend of mine. I'm a EE and this looks straightforward, but I'd need to know the timing etc.
Fantastic. I just discovered the Stanford study, and here comes a glove already. I really don't want to wait until their gloves are on the market. I'd love to know the details of how to build these. I'd also really like to hear about your tremors, and the level of improvement.
Great video! Thank you for sharing!
Please do a Kickstarter
Also it would be nice if you could consider sharing the 3d print files
Excellent video! Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for making this well put video! I would like to try building those gloves, but I could not find your layout sheet and your STL files. Where can I go to see it? Thank you again for sharing 🫶.
Great video! What pattern did you end up using for sequencing the motor vibrations?
kIs there someone or some company that would make one for me?
Hi thank you for the video 🙏 im planning to build the gloves for my father. Will be super helpful if you could share the STL files you used to print the micro controller box and the vibration plates and any other helpful link will be appreciated
Thank you for this video. I just about to build one. This was really helpful 👍
Which coin motor did you end up choosing? Would you mind putting up links to where the various items you used (excluding 3d print, of course) to create the gloves?
I will put this all together.
@@PDvibrationglove-yr9fn is the list allready available somewhere? THX!

Hi my name is robert .can you please tell me about any changes in your Behaviour since you started using these gloves .
Hello Robert, I am using the gloves since February 2022. The biggest impact for myself was a big improvement in sleep quality - for me personally therefore already worth all the tinkering/building efforts. It seems for me to also switch off tremors when using the gloves and/or shortly afterwards. Furthermore, I also experienced what others reported (e.g. see link for Stanford magazine article in description) that it improves the general well-being, energy level, smell/taste, motoric,... It works in my experiences best when maintaining a good work/life balance and doing some sort of fitness. Using them directly during stressful moments has little effect in my opinion. I typically use them before getting up in the morning/before going to bed, while reading, watching online, etc...
Hi Where can I get the programs for the 3D printed items???
Hello dear i am suffering from parkinson from 13 years now. I really want to build them. I saw your video but could not understand what all i need and how to bulid them . Please can you tell in detail how to make and things require to bulid i am common man to need understanding
Very Good! Thank you for sharing this information.
can you please provide a link for the exact micro controller that you use?
How would you replicate the vibration patters from Prof. Tass's work?
Great job sir !! But i really wanna know !what was the code if u can share it !! Please
How much do you charge to make the gloves please?
Yes, I would like to know, too!
Could you please post the program file url to download?
Did you try these gloves on a Parkinson's patient/s? Did they help the patient? If yes, how long did it take? What were the PD patients symptoms that were helped?
I want a pair of these gloves.
Hi can you please give me the details of the vibrations ie how long and at what frequeceny and power?
and the program for the computer. and what computer did you use?
all the best
TIM
Are you willing to share the STL files you used to print the micro controller box and the vibration plates? That would be a big time saver
Yes. I can do this shortly and provide the link for it.
The 3d Print for the vibration plate is clever.
@@pacallahan5298 Thanks. It is simple; yet very effective (in my usage experience).
@@PDvibrationglove-yr9fn looking forward to the STL file for the vibration plate. Also, which tactor are you using?
@@PDvibrationglove-yr9fn hello. Any updates on the availability of the design?
I watched with great interest but you lost me when you talked about the controller; what is it how did you program it ? Thx Dave
does the research says the pattern of vibrationt and streanght?
I don't know much about eletronics, and I'd really like to get this done for my dad, but I probably would have to pay someone to do it...
Any report on the effectiveness of your version of these gloves?
Hi Can you please send me a link to all the parts needed to make a pair of PD gloves including the soft ware or where i can buy a pair?
Hi DO all the fingers have to be in the same pairs ?ie both the index fingers put together etc?? thanks
Thank You! I will try making for myself. I see someone asked for file on printing finger vibration plates I would like to make these but I don't see where you posted the link. Can you guide me to it. Thank You
Do you have any thoughts of making any to sell and ship?
No, sorry. I am sharing design and building practices and use my limited time to further improve the gloves. For technically skilled people it should be not to difficult to make them.
@@PDvibrationglove-yr9fn thanks for your response. All the best!
Thank you for sharing.... which kind of microcontroller did you use...are the intervals of the impulses randomised or ist there a special sequence?
Wolfram
Arduino Nano - ~5-10 EUR & available online. Pulse interval: no specials sequence. Easiest - write up a list of all sequence combinations for 4 channels, randomize & loop them in the program = 'pseudo-random''; Arduino has a randomize command but you'll have to do a little more effort to achieve a real randomized sequence. People have published such a program online.
Not sure why he is not showing a materials list along with files for 3d printer parts ????????????? 😢
Hi can you share video how to you made and what all you. used.
Hi Where can I buy a pair of these gloves? Or where can I buy all the parts?
Can you build one pair for me and how much will it cost
Do hands mirror each other please?
If I wear too much can it make tremors worse? Overstimulation?
what motors did you land up using??cat details please!
Did you use the vibration rhythm fom Stanford university?
Can you tell me if the vibes on each hand mirror each other thank you
Thank you very much for your sharing. May I have the type model of the microcontroller?
Arduino Nano - not expensive & available in common online stores.
What is the vibration sequence please?
This is awsome wish I had them I sure would love to walk better with out more pills. Thank you for sharing God bless😊😊❤❤
The only problem you may have is that the vibration patterns are not mirrored on each hand/glove. I made some very similar to yours but we didn't see any improvement in PD symptoms. I'm pretty sure the timming was correct and looks like the same rate/speed as yours. I didn't play around with the timing and I used the smaller motors but they seemed strong enough. Good luck and hope they help. "Life with Parkinsons" channel made some and he said it was beneficial but later videos he seems less enthusiastic. We have just gone strict carnivore to get to the source of the PD problem.
I had the arduino control both gloves with USB cables going from a belt box over the shoulders and down the arms so the signals were mirrored.
I just hot glued the motors straight onto some velcro which works just fine. No need to 3d print. =)
I had the motor wires come out the front and bend back up and under the velcro and along the top of the fingers loosely. No problems.
In Life with Parkinson's latest video, near the end he says he adjusted the vibration pattern and is getting better benefits. About the carnivore diet, some of the 'food experts' I've listened to says protein can block dopamine receptors so meat should be a small part of a Parkinson's diet. Maybe they are wrong. I hope you find something that works for you.
@@pdobernigg it doesn't sound like he mirrored the pattern just adjusted the timing so it still may be a problem.
I've heard that too about protein but seen many doctors and professors talk about high uric acid correlation with lower parkinsons risk as it reduces the oxidation of dopamine.
Anyway the carnivore and LION diet are elimination diets which have heal some severe auto immune diseases like Mikala Peterson and 50 years of a bad modern processed food is probably the cause of many of these problems and time is short so its worth a try and we are feeling great like most other people who try it.
Hi thank you for this informative video by any chance can you sell this?
No, sorry. I am sharing design and building practices and use my limited time to further improve the gloves. For technically skilled people it should be not to difficult to make them.
How much can you please give to my father
Is the glove on Amazon the same type of glove? I've soldered before, but wouldn't try it today, plus my old soldering stattion is in my ex-wifes attic. :-(
I have hand tremors so making a pair of my own gloves is impossible. Does anyone out there know where I can buy a pair ready made ?
Very nice work ! Well done.
I have a few questions if you have a minute. The first is how are you using a 9 volt battery without damaging the Arduino Nano? I thought the maximum supply voltage for the Nano was 5 volts. I have built one set using the larger 5 volt cell phone "charger" battery packs but I would like to get down to the much smaller 9 Volts like you are using.
About how many 1 hour treatments do you get from each recharging of the batteries?
Have you been able to post the plan for the vibration modules yet? I'm using a similar device that I am hand making from scrap Lexan I had laying around my shop, but your device is first class. I would appreciate being able to use your plan very much.
Thank you for the reply. I appreciate your time crunch. I have fashioned some finger pads from scarp Lexan laying around the shop for my current project. We' see how that goes. I hope you continue to get bennifits from using your gloves. All the best!
Sir,Can you make a pair of vibrating gloves for me.I shall pay you for the same.
Hallo, ich höre das Sie einen deutschen Akzent haben. Wäre es möglich ein Video auf deutsch zu machen. Meine Mutter leidet auch an Parkinson und ich würde Ihr gerne diese Handschuhe bauen. .
How nice ! How can we contact you ? I am anxiously awaiting this product to get FDA approval and available to PD patients . But the Stanford team is not talking about any plan or timelines. Thanks a lot you are sharing DIY for it.
How long you have been using these gloves and are you getting expected benefits ? It will be easy for us if you can publish a receipi video on UA-cam.
I believe the Stanford team is hoping to have the glove available to the public, with government approval, by the end of 2024, if I'm not mistaken. There are no guarantees, of course.
@@glassman56garner76 big pharma will never let it go through
Attempting to contact you. Would like to order your gloves. Z 3:34
If you have been using it during last year, could you please post a video with feedback of the results?
