Thanks for the video! I think/hope most people realize by now that the do not all live together in a dorm anymore. I joined the fandom in early 2018 and the living arrangements were a lot more questionable in late 2018 and 2019. But by 2020 it should have been obvious that they didn't live together anymore. There are a couple of things in your vid that I think are a bit incorrect, though. From what I've seen, the Hannam the Hill dorm they moved into in 2018 only had 4 bedrooms. RM, Jin, and Suga had their own rooms, Jimin and Jhope shared, and JK and Tae supposedly divided up the living room area to use as a bedroom. They talked about it a couple of times. Taekookers used to squeal over the fact that Tae and JK "shared a room." But I never believed that. The logistics of that just wouldn't be practical.
JHope had bought an apartment in Trimage in 2016, and another in 2018, but we don't know when he actually started living there. When they teased JK about always sleeping in JM and Jhope's dorm room, maybe the joke was on us. Maybe Jhope was hardly ever there so of course it was really more of JK's space? Maybe Jhope never really lived in the Hannam the Hill dorm at all? Jin also bought his own apartment in Hannam the Hill in 2018. So if JK and Tae really ever had to partition off the living room to make 2 separate bedroom spaces, I don't think it lasted very long at all.
JK bought his apartment in Trimage in October 2018. Because of all the car sharing evidence, I do think Jimin lived there with him at least part time. Maybe Jimin split his time between JK's place and the dorm. JK sold his Trimage apartment around March 2020 and bought the house in Itaewon, but the house was being rented out to someone. I think he bought it as an investment property, maybe to live in at some point in the future. Since he couldn't move into the Itaewon house due to it being rented out, he rented an apartment in Nine One Hannam in the Spring of 2020. (The only property Jimin owned at that point was the property that's being completely renovated, so I do believe he and Jimin lived there together.)
The tenants at Nine One Hannam knew that leasing there was only temporary, as the complex was changing to one where all the tenants would have to purchase their apartments, not just rent them. They were supposed to have until 2023 to make their purchases. But in late 2020, the Nine One Hannam complex notified their tenants that all purchases would have to be completed by March of 2021. (SK passed a luxury tax, so that property owners can only own one "luxury" property. If they own two properties that are categorized as "luxury" properties, they have to pay a HUGE tax bill, and the complex owners didn't want to be hit with that huge bill.) Since JK already owned the house in Itaewon, he couldn't purchase the Nine One Hannam apartment he was living in or he would have been hit with the big "luxury property" tax. JK also owned the apartment his brother lives in, and he transferred ownership to his brother's name around that time, probably to again avoid the luxury property tax.
Since Jimin's other property is still under renovation and isn't worth much until it's finished, he ended up buying the Hannam Nine One apartment since it is considered his only luxury property.Taekook is not real! Tae live in his appartement in the same house with his parents.
