The appliqué white blouse is lovely. The work is called “rilli” and is indigenous to the Sindh area of Pakistan. Usually it’s used on bed linens, cushion covers etc in bright colors. but used on a wearable item in white-on-white looks gorgeous. Welcome back!
Rilli work is different than applique work or tokk work

Loved all the looks but probably Look 5 was my favorite since the color contrast was spot on and the fact that a trendy top which I would otherwise wear with a jeans, skirt or plain pants...also works with a saree (print on print at that..) and makes it look approachable and casual for an everyday look
looks 5 & 6 were the best, and I agree with your mom's reasoning behind the string pearl necklace 🙂

Welcome back Prerna! It was good to see you back, however I felt all this was just a way(using tops) of styling a saree & not 6 different ways of styling a saree or should I say the title of the video should have better been styling a saree with 6 different types of tops😅

Sare look bohot khubsurat the except for 5. Mere liye it was loud or i should so much happening in that look.
Saree bhi indigo, blouse me v so much colors bag v banjara with lots of colour.
I found only look 5 relatable and practical (IMHO, 1 ad 2 are not for everyone). The rest may be good for pictures, but where can you really wear a mul cotton saree with such fancy tops/blouses and pearl necklace? I found those pairings pretty wierd to be honest.

Just stunning... Everything looks out of this world on u... I have a similar saree... But when i wore it with a white Tshirt... My hubby said i give Hon Sarojini Naidu kinda vibes... Or sometimes the tshirts with closed neckline give u aged look... Since i dont wear sleeveless, backless etc... i find it challenging to make d saree look stylish or sensuous...

Hey, so many things to write down. Let's go One by one.
1. Yaaaaayyyyy, you are back!!
2. I loved all the looks but i am definitely going to try look 1 and look 3rd.
3. Can you please share a tutorial on how to drape a saree with the palla style in last 2 looks. I searched a lot on youtube for that style, I don't know what it is called as, but I want to learn. I tried it myself, but I never seem to get the pleats right ; or the lenght falls short.
4. I just wanted to share the feedback on chill vacay look with crochet top. I mean I am no expert, but I saw few pictures of Tapsee punnu styling saree for vacay. She also wore a mul cotton saree with shoes the only difference was , she wore the saree a little higher to show off the shoes and it looked more relaxed.

I have same sari...worn with multiple blouses several times...now planning with chikankari blouse ..your styling is different..we can copy in day to day life..all looks are awesome but last one with multicolour top is adding new dimension to sari ..please give some ideas for crop tops ..we can style with sari...as I am a teacher so some sober n classy....Best of luck for your course..

Hi Prerna, does the styling course (from western University) helps with styling ethnic outfits better? As the western style is so much different than the indian ethnic style. I am asking this as I have noticed that when fashion influencers move to west and even when they come back their style changes to more towards solids and light pastel colours rather than fun vibrant colours and prints.
