I know many UA-cam channels operate on a video a week, but as a viewer, I am more than happy to watch on whatever schedule. No pressure. I'm happier being able to see your content less often, than you burning out from the pressure. You do you Casey!
I appreciate your content and understand where you are coming from about adding more than sewing. I sew also and alter many of my purchased clothes (love secondhand buys). I also knit, crochet, embroider, upholster, journal, paint, draw, cook …. So many things. So I enjoy seeing creators explore more than just 1 thing they do as it motivates me to pick up an unfinished project and get it done. So thank you for your content and also for sharing more than just sewing. 🥰❤
I’ve been sewing for 60 plus years. I love your channel bc you are creative, personable, and you make it all seem so easy. 40 is a great age and your confidence increases for some reason. I have enjoyed all of your videos. But I enjoy your design ideas and sewing best. It’s quality over quantity for me. But I’ll probably watch whatever you do.😂
You are charming, interesting and clever! I love all the types of videos you do, and will watch them all! Congratulations on nearing 100,000 subscribers!
I would love to see you use the lotterloh system again. I bought it myself and do struggle occasionally with the fitting and your videos helped me a lot in this 😊
I love and look forward to all of your videos, no matter what you're talking about our making/showing! Your work is a consistently fun and inspiring corner of youtube. Like many of the other commenters, in addition to a (very uneven) sewing journey, I also knit, alter thrifted clothes, crochet, embroider, cross stitch, cook, paint walls and objects around my house, etc. I always learn from you - seeing how you approach projects helps me think through my own. I also really value your kindness towards yourself and how encouraging you are to the rest of us - those are lessons we all need. You're a great teacher in addition to your obvious other smarts and skills. I hope your 2024 is full of creative energy, no matter where you choose to direct it (and regardless of whether you film what you do).
Thank you so much for this comment! It's encouraging to read that others are interested in many creative outlets (it makes sense--sewing is so creative)! Looking forward to sharing so much more here! :)
I haven't sewn clothes for years but I would like to resume doing it, so I have watched lots of sewers and thrifters on youtube recently. What I enjoyed about your videos is that you care about the quality of your workmanship. I like the mix of new makes and upcycles as that is what I would like to do. Quality over quantity is what I prefer, so the youtube episodes don't need to be frequent. Just show something useful and interesting when you create it, and maybe explain sewing construction techniques clearly that most sewers will come across. And pattern hacks are handy so we can re use patterns a few times. We don't need to see somebody opening a pattern envelope and rambling about what's in it for ages. Good luck in 2024, I will keep tuning in.
You are a very classy lady, very well put together, and a good example of taking your talent and showing us how to perfect it and expand . Your style is exquisite and I am so inspired by all your videos. I'm a senior experienced sewer from way back, and you have reignited my love of sewing again. You make even the more difficult patterns seem attainable with patience and commitment. Thankyou..... keep up your wonderful videos and your broad variety of sewing patterns and your crafts. It is so satisfying to see your completed projects.... ❤ I look forward to following you and all your future projects❤
Hi Casey. I understand that you feel guilty and that’s because you’re passionate about what you do and your desire to share with us, but please there is no need for you to put yourself under that kind of pressure. I started following your channel about 3 months ago and you’ve inspired me to start sewing again after probably more than 20 years. My mum died in September last year and she gave her sewing machine and overlocker to my daughter so we now have a 60 year old Bernina as well as my 1990s Bernette and two overlockers and more thread than any single sewer could ever use! So thank you for everything you do, you’re an inspiration! I also enjoy your thrifting videos - something that is dear to me. I live in New Zealand and we don’t have the volume of thrifted items as you seem to have in the US. Keep up the great work and know that you are appreciated.
I'm so glad you feel inspired to make things after watching my channel--that is the BEST compliment! So thank you so much for watching and letting me know :)
HNY, Casey! Please share anything and everything you please in 2024. I'm here for it. 💙 Something I would like to see soonish is a vid about sewing cold-weather dresses and skirts. I know you have a true winter in Michigan, and I'd love to hear how you wear/sew the dresses/skirts you love while staying warm. I think you could have some fun talking about fabrics, linings, slips (yes, slips!), sleeves, etc. P.S. More time in the woods is also a personal goal in '24.
Hello Casey, my name is Monika and I come from Poland. I found your channel few days ago and I subscribed it immediately. I found it very useful in different ways. First of all because one year ago I bought my first sewing machine and I started to sew. It is a great hobby for me, I can create some garment for me and my husband, make some decorations or things for home. It is my time and I love it. It lets me concentrate on something I like so much, forget about problems and develop myself. I like the content you present and the way you do it. You are so natural and reliable, you show many interesting tips, but problems and mistakes as well. We are almost the same age (this year I will be 44) and it is good to confirm that it is never too late for different things and changes in life. You are very inspiring and nice person, your approach to life and sewing resonates with me very much. Watching your films is also a nice opportunity to improve my English:) Although you speak quite fast I understand most of it. When I have some problems I just turn on subtitles and check the meaning of the words I don't know in a dictionary:-) Congratulations on approaching so many subscribes! All the best in 2024. Thank you!
Hi Casey, I really enjoy your channel! I found you when I was looking at reupholstery, and loved watching you redo your couch. I like how you’re very upfront and enjoyed when you said you’d start sewing earlier; to just start and make room for mistakes, that it is OK. (I am learning how to sew, and I’m afraid to cut the material and making a mistake and wasting everything.) Ideas for 2024: I’d like to see you if you can share your make up application. I especially like your eye make up and think you look great. Also, I love your thrift flips, and I have modified two skirts for my teenage daughter. Keep those coming! Thanks for being you. I enjoy your personality. Annie
Great content, always! 100,000 is my kind of channel. Seriously, not only did I exit Instagram this year, as well, I have started editing the UA-cam channels I watch. At one point, I felt compelled to watch any fledgling sewing channel, just to support their efforts, then realized, I want to spend my limited viewing time watching only the best! You’re a keeper in my book! You’re genuine and thoughtful and create patterns, too! Happy New Year! 🎉 Suzanne
I've really enjoyed your channel. I am 46 and have just dabbled in sewing 'crafts' for years. I really, really want to be more of a grown up seamstress and make really impressive stuff. I am hoping to learn more from you as a I explore this outlet. I have a sewing room and all the stuff, I just need more know-how and practice. I get so frustrated with things like my sewing machine eating my knit fabric because I don't understand tension and simple, dumb things like that! Thanks for being an inspiration!
I turned 40 this year too and a lot of what you said resonate with me ! I started running this year, I couldn’t run for 2 minutes without feeling completely dead and now I do 5km and even done almost 8km a couple of times! My style is also evolving like yours, and feeling I want to “dress up” a little more. Anyway… Thanks for sharing your experience! And happy new year!!
Happy belated birthday and Happy New Year! That's awesome that you started running! Yes, definitely feeling like I want to dress up more and be generally more "fabulous" haha :)
Casey! I've been binge watching your videos because recently Your content popped up on my feed and I loved your videos so much I subcribed but I want to say you are such down to earth with your personality content. you are doing such an amazing job. You are so beautiful I honestly thought you were much younger than what you mentioned. So you don't need to be competative with others cause you are you. You have a great personality. I love what you do and especially that you are self taught speaks more than a thousand words. I am self taught in my sewing journey and watching your content is very helpful and motivating so thank you! Your so amazing! 😊 I wish you the best this year and keep doing what you are doing!
Thought you might like to know, I am nearly twice your age, but love your videos and the varied content. I really enjoy your thrifting videos and your craft projects. (Just this week,I found your video on rope baskets and have saved it for future reference). Looking forward to coming along on your 2024 journey. Happy new year!!
Go easy on yourself! You don't need to apologise to anyone or feel guilty for not uploading "enough". I know UA-cam seems to reward more consistency so it's probably useful from a growth perspective, but personally I don't want the creators I enjoy watching to feel undue pressure to churn out content. Sometimes you do a video that contains two or three completed items when you could probably have stretched them out into individual videos. I also really liked the vlog style videos you did towards the end of last year where you showed progress on certain projects over successive videos in amongst other things, and I enjoy that approach as it really is more realistic to how most of us (slower sewists at least) create our own projects. Generally I think people subscribe because most of all they like the personality of the UA-camr, and will watch most of what they create, so you can really have a fair bit of latitude there as to what you make videos about. Having said that, I really enjoy thinking, talking about and watching content around wardrobe planning/curating, not just the actual creating of individual pieces, so I'd love to see more from you about how your style has changed and where you feel it's heading, inspiration and plans for specific garments and your wardrobe as a whole. I'd happily watch you 'declutter' your stored clothing, going into detail and what you are and aren't keeping and why; analysing what has and hasn't worked for you, and how you will channel those findings into your plans for future garments.
I'd be interested to see re-fashions of some of the clothes you've made, but aren't wearing (if I am sentimental about something and love the fabric I try to make it into a tank or something- even if there is some crazy piecing involved!) I love your approach to the sewing content- major projects, but also simple refashions that are stylish and flattering (a lot of wacky refashion videos on you tube out there!) And I bet if you had a great idea for making furniture covers that it would be a lot of things people could use! and of course I would love to see more patterns! I enjoy your channel and I do watch for the sewing content- but I enjoy that there is a nice variety of topics and types of sewing projects.
I love your channel. Specially the sewing content. I like The way you explain things about sewing and all the details you give also how you tackle more complex patterns.
I actually have one of those folding ironing pads- it came with a sewing travel case I bought because I used to go to people’s homes for alterations fittings because I had three small boys and was a SAH mom at the time! I love that thing and it’s wearing out! I’m inspired to recreate it now!
Love hearing your plans for 2024. I would love to see more clothing remakes. I also love thrifting and find remakes hard to do. Maybe because I am picky.
It's been such fun following you in 2023, and look forward to your content in the year ahead. Don't beat yourself up if you get derailed by "life stuff" from time to time, it happens to us all. Enjoy your life! Particularly your 40s, which in my experience is the best decade. You look fabulous, your self-confidence shines through, and you're brilliant at what you do, so celebrate! 🎉
I love that you do different format videos. I love your patterns, they always fit so well! Congrats on approaching 100k subs. You’ve worked hard for it. I don’t do Instagram or Tik Tok, so I wouldn’t miss those.
I’ll definitely watch a crafty channel. In fact, when you showed that clip of the plant holder it made me want to scroll back through your previous videos to see if I could find the instructions for that!
Love your content quality. I am excited to see various maker topics in addition to sewing videos. How-to sewing tips are always appreciated. Any release schedule is great, do what works for you!
Thank you for posting the ironing pad video and for the so along. I was successful in purchasing the materials and made one for myself. I started following you after viewing this video. Again thanks.
I love all of the variety in your content. It makes getting those notifications really fun..."what's it gonna be?!". My favorites are the drafting videos. I think they must bring a sense of empowerment and demystification to so many people. Also, thrift flips are great. Nothing like a good before & after, right? I can't believe I missed the scrappy abstract art video when it came out so a twofer for me today! Looking forward to your 2024 and congrats on the well-deserved 100K! 💛
Thank you, Libby! I am a sucker for a good before/after! :) And I remember when I first started drafting, finding drafting videos was such a treat...those are a personal fave! Happy New Year!
Of course your curiosity will take you off to in other directions at times. Makers make. Other makers understand. No excuses required. As for the monkey wrenches life throws into our plans, we get it. I'm sorry it hit you this fall. All your content has been interesting to follow. Even when I'm not that interested in the project of that week, I'm still fascinated by the process, from drafting/adjustments to fabric prep to assembling, fitting and finishing. Also in how your thinking evolves from concept stage to completion. As for what content I'd enjoy, if you're asking. I can get stuck in first gear too easily. I look for inspiration on how to get moving. You're good at planning, then diving in. I like to see how you get momentum going. My difficulties are mainly a matter of decision fatigue. Having to choose between too many delicious but incompatible ideas for one piece of yardage. Then, always wanting to alter patterns instead of making them as is. Wondering how much ease to allow in case of a changing body size. Reluctance to cut into the perfect fabric. Because of disappointments in the past, right now, I'm even hemming and hawing (hah) about finding interfacing that won't misbehave in the wash, what sort of lining material to use, and which areas to stay tape, for a few dresses I have queued up. Anytime you have a decision tree system or go-to staples to share, I'm all ears. Because my sewing time is so limited and even discounted fabrics get expensive (downside of maxi length), I'd rather spend a bit more and use high quality notions, tools and linings, if I only knew what they were. No more mediocre inputs. Your recommendations would always be valued. Congrats on turning 40! IMHO you're looking straight ahead at the best decades. The strength training puts you in good stead, as does your hard work and finding success in your business. You're young enough to be strong, and old enough to be wise. Go get 'em, tiger.
I will turn 40 in March and am on the same skin and workout journey as you! I started working on my skin late 2022, but kept it going all of 2023 and I love it. It is therapeutic for me and loving the results. I also started watching videos from plastic surgeons and dermatologists to understand what is good/bad for this skin, etc. So I feel you on this subject! Regarding your channel, I am so happy that you are almost at a 100k! I am a huge fan of your channel and love the variety of content and I am sure others feel the same. I would love to see more Luterloh makes! I find this system fascinating. As for Q&A, I would love to know how you learned to draft patterns digitally. Did you take a class on this? Do you sew up every size to test each size or how do you know if the grading works for larger sizes? What is your workout routine? Any fitness channels you watch and have found helpful? On a personal level, do you plan to have children? I don’t have any and am so curious since I am almost 40 how other women feel about this at this age. Totally personal though, you don’t have to answer of course but thought I would throw it out there. Happy 2024!!
I love your idea of switching to a makers's vlog, that will work really well for you i think cos you have such a great approach. We all love that stuff! All the best with it all and wishing you a happy and successful 2024 ❤❤
Happy new year casey, I’m so happy that you are nearing the 100k, so well deserved. I loved following you on your tube journey and will continue to do so in 2024. When it comes to posting videos, quantity over quality always wins, so please don’t worry about how often you upload. I love the colour palettes you use, is that something you do intentionally or is it just a case of liking something you see, is a question I would ask on a Q & A. I hope your personnel issues don’t cause you too much stress and I look forward to seeing you in your next video 🤗🤗🤗❤️
Just wanted to say- I really love your UA-cam videos! I originally discovered you on instagram, (I didn’t watch much UA-cam prior to 2023) and have been really enjoying your content! I’m hoping to grow my channel this year and it’s been so inspiring to see yours grow so much over 2023! All the best to you in 2024!
Thank you so much for sharing your vision for 2024! I love that you’re expanding your content. You are teaching me about new things and ideas that can expand my own sewing journey.👏🏻 keep up the amazing work
I love watching all your videos especially the sew alongs, the thrifting ones are another favourite. 40 is a great age still being able to keep up with the trends not worrying about the length or are they a bit to low at the front, make the most of it keep up with the exercise you will be so glad you did when you reach my age of 72.Happy New Year.x
Huge congrats on all your well-deserved success on here, Casey! Excited for you to reach that 100K milestone. Also, love that you share varied content and multiple creative interests. 2023 was challenging on so many fronts for so many...I hope you have a good support system and here's to a new year full of grace and ease (and, of course, dresses 😉)!
Love your channel! Like the sewing variety you present from fashion wear and hats to rope bowls. I am a long time sewer and have learned techniques from you that I never knew about. As for age, you look great at 40. Your perspective changes with age …. you started to take time for yourself. Hey, I started walking 4-5 times a week 3 miles each day… I am 72 never imagined that. Good luck 2024.
Thank you! Yes, making time for myself (taking good care of myself) has been life changing. My husband and I used to walk almost every day and it's something I want to start doing again this year...so many benefits to getting out in the fresh air and getting a good walk! Happy New Year!
Looking forward to your next videos...40 is a great age...the only thing is the decades go by faster now. I love your videos and you will hit 100K before your know it! I think it is wonderful that you are going to try camping more often...sounds like a lot of fun!
I use Instagram as a journal. I've tried actual writing a journal sooooo many times. It lasts a couple days and then forgotten. I have several all unused and collecting dust. You mentioned you just turned 40. I wish Instagram was around when i was 40. I'm 67 and have forgotten most of my 40's never mind my 30's. It's not just the picture history its the concept of 'a picture has a thousand words'. It's your history in your hands, transportable with you everywhere you go. Followers aren't important to me. Sure it's nice to engage with strangers but i use it as a memory of everything I've done made cooked ate, restaurant & sites I've gone to in foreign countries. And it's easily accessable. That's the main thing. Sooooo maybe don't discount it just yet. You might want to be able to go back twenty yrs from now to see what you did, who you were with or how you made it, cooked it or upcycled it. I don't get to see my gkids all the time. I keep track of them with Instagram. Especially the teens. Just stop thinking of it as keeping up with the Jones', instead as a visual journal.
Just subscribed! Thanks for the content. A personal suggestion, in the patreon section of the video you had much more direct eye contact with the camera (audience) than the rest of the video. I feel that direct eye contact helps me feel more engagement with the content provider and I find it more professional. I'm looking forward to seeing your 2024 content and celebrating your reaching 100k subscribers.
Oh I wish I was 40 again! I’m 66. I started going to the gym when I was 24 and I still go and at my age I definitely have to incorporate weights in my routine. Do take care of your skin.
Thanks for sharing your creativity on UA-cam, I really enjoy your channel! I think your content should reflect your authentic interests, so if you want to include things like décor and thrifting then I think you should do that. I would also love to hear about any future camping trips, especially with a focus on what garments you wore (even if they are RTW). I love to wear my me-mades when I'm camping/hiking, but the cute clothes that I make aren't always appropriate for those activities. Also, have you ever considered doing a meet-up? I'm within driving distance of Lansing, so I would be interested :)
Just found your channel a few months ago and I am so glad I did! Congratulations on the growth of your channel! You have inspired me with my sewing journey. I am a beginner and while I am far from having the advanced skills to make all of the garments you make, I always enjoy watching all of your sewing projects. While you consider changing up your content, please be sure to incorporate plenty of sewing projects, if you can! With that said, I have also enjoyed watching your non-sewing videos, too! Maybe you could do a video on your makeup routine? I am always drawn to your eye makeup and would love to know your technique. Happy New Year!
Oh I will for sure keep plenty of sewing videos in the mix! :) I have way too many garment projects on my mind to let it go too much, haha. And I love makeup and trying new things there, so maybe one day I can do a little get ready with me video :) Thanks so much for watching! Happy New Year!
I'm very excited to see what things you would create outside of sewing. I'm a lover of many art forms as well, and it's awesome to see other multi creators. Happy New year!
Casey, congratulations on the growth of your channel. I’ve so enjoyed the journey 😊. I’ve always appreciated how you share your thought process as you figure out a way to solve an issue with a pattern, fitting or sewing. Your Fern top is my all time favorite pattern. Yes, it’s a simple sew, but I love the look and the fit, and all the ways I can change it up. I remember emailing you with a question I had about it ( very beginner sewist back then ) and I was so impressed that you responded to my question. I’m here for whatever creative path you choose to wander down. ❤
So glad you have enjoyed the Fern Top! That was the first garment pattern I released and it holds a special place in my sewing heart :) Thanks so much for making it and following along here! Happy New Year!
I can’t remember how I found your channel but likely it was due to refashions. I’m big into seeing the possibilities of fabric or clothing I find at the thrift store. I would love to see more of that, your techniques are always so polished! I have a goal to not buy any fabric this year, then I saw a “no buy 2024” goal on insta. I totally see the point of not having certain media on our phones and I may consider getting rid of some due to a scrolling 16:28 problem. Anyway I look forward to your ideas, sewing my stash and listening to music while I sew! Thanks for your inspiration.
Thanks so much for watching! I love thrift flips, too (I actually still have a few items I thrifted and never shared that I have flip plans for)! Browsing thrift stores is so calming for me.
Happy recent birthday milestone🎉. Congrats on almost 100k subscribers, and I look forward to what you bring to 2024❤️. I always enjoy your creative processes, bring on all the things. I also turned to working out consistently with weights in 2023, at the age of 49. Best thing I did for myself, feel 100% better after a year.
Thank you, thank you! :) When I was nearing 40, I decided I wanted to be in the best shape to live a long life. I read that weight lifting is SO beneficial! Good on you for lifting weights!
Happy New Year Casey! What a lovely Update. Congrats on 100K subs!! I love all of your content. I like how your channel has evolved the last couple of years. Most Sewers are fairly creative, so we enjoy other non sew Projects too. Keep them coming. Right now I'm hugely into Up-cycling, be it from what I already have or thrifting. I would love to see more videos like that too. I'm always motivated to check my stash pile after watching your Videos see what I can come up with.
Thank you! Happy New Year! That is good to know--I enjoy SO many other creative things, too. And love following creators on YT that are doing all sorts of stuff! And I definitely have a few items in my closet that need a little flip!
Happy New Year. Congratulations on turning 40 and getting close to that 10K. I think one of the first videos of yours I watched was you making a sofa. I thought this gal is smart, and isn’t afraid to take on a challenge! That led me to your patterns which I love. From the comments it looks like your subscribers will enjoy whatever you decide to do.
Hello Casey - just want to say I absolutely love your channel and your content. I will enjoy watching how your channel expands and to see where your creativity takes you and us (by default) Season’s Greetings for 2024. What about posting fortnightly? I also look forward to your new patterns.❤
I really enjoy your videos! I always click to watch what you post! 😊 Would you ever consider making a knit button down top pattern? There are so many woven versions in home sewing patterns, but I've think I've seen just one knit version come up on Google. I would love something like that. 😊 I know your video about your mesh tops included a button variety.... (If anyone knows of one, please let me know. 🙂)
Agree with your suggestion. I’ve got an ancient knit button down top in my closet from Orvis. I hang on to it because I can’t find anything like it and just keep hoping the style will be popular again. So comfortable but still can look fairly put together😊.
Question for your 100K anniversary: how did a Southern Gal find her way to Michigan? Love all your makes and thrifts. Just keep being Crafty Casey! And, great PSA-wear your retainer! My mom worked for the orthodontist I went to in my teens and I HAD to do everything doctors said, but didn’t have to get braces again in my thirties like my sister did, so guess those ol’ doc’s knew what they were doing😅.
Oh my goodness!! It was like you were telling my story (I also turned 40). What is it about this age that makes you do all these things you’ve never done before? 😂
I see all the fabric you have bought ahead of time . Since you didn't really have a project in mind, how much did you buy of each fabric without knowing the amount for a project? I would like to start but have no ideas on what or how.❤
I usually have a project in mind and know how much to get based on that, but if I don;t have a project, I'll usually get 2 to 3 yards, which is usually enough for a nice blouse ir dress :)
You mentioned you have clothes you need to get rid of. Perhaps you could use them as prizes or sell them at a local market. Im tall like you and its hard to find clothes for tall women.
I bet a lot of your subscribers would love to take the hand made items that you no longer wear would off your hands. Maybe an online sale or a contest or something like that.
About the years around 40 my body decided to become fertile. My son was born 2 months before I was 40 and my youngest daughter was born after I turned 41... Talk about being off center. Menopause and puberty hormones don't mix, just saying.
I know many UA-cam channels operate on a video a week, but as a viewer, I am more than happy to watch on whatever schedule. No pressure. I'm happier being able to see your content less often, than you burning out from the pressure. You do you Casey!
Thank you for that! :)
Thank you! I am the same, I love watching creators who make all sorts of things and find it super motivating!
Aw, thank you so much! :) I appreciate that!
I would love to see you use the lotterloh system again. I bought it myself and do struggle occasionally with the fitting and your videos helped me a lot in this 😊
Ooh yeah, I can definitely do more of those--I love that system!
Me, too! I made one thing and need to revisit it.
I love all types of making! Thrifting, knitting, crochet, home decor making.
I love that you’re wanting to expand the creative content on your channel…I’m here for it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful skills with us!!💕
So good to know, thank you!!
I just retired and I am teaching myself to sew. Making your tshirt pattern is on my bucket list! Looking forward to more of your content!
When I have some problems I just turn on subtitles and check the meaning of the words I don't know in a dictionary:-)
Congratulations on approaching so many subscribes! All the best in 2024. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching my videos, Monika! Means a lot to me!
Hi Casey, I really enjoy your channel! I found you when I was looking at reupholstery, and loved watching you redo your couch.
I like how you’re very upfront and enjoyed when you said you’d start sewing earlier; to just start and make room for mistakes, that it is OK. (I am learning how to sew, and I’m afraid to cut the material and making a mistake and wasting everything.)
Ideas for 2024: I’d like to see you if you can share your make up application. I especially like your eye make up and think you look great. Also, I love your thrift flips, and I have modified two skirts for my teenage daughter. Keep those coming! Thanks for being you. I enjoy your personality. Annie
Woohoo nearly 100,000 is exciting for you xxxxxx
Yes!! So exciting! :)
🎉 Suzanne
Thank you, Suzanne! That is so nice!
I am 70 and still feels 20 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish you the best this year and keep doing what you are doing!
That is so great to know, thank you!! Glad you are enjoying the videos! Happy New Year!
Thank you! I've heard that the 40s are the best decade from so many people, so I am ready for it! :)
I love that you do different format videos. I love your patterns, they always fit so well! Congrats on approaching 100k subs. You’ve worked hard for it. I don’t do Instagram or Tik Tok, so I wouldn’t miss those.
Thank you, that is good to know! I like to switch it up, it keeps it fun for me, too. And I am with you, I don't miss instagram or tiktok at all!
Oh that's so great! So glad you made it, and thank you for following! :)
Any and all of your creative work is very much enjoyed!
“You do You” so well!! Keep it up!!
Looking forward to your pattern releases. Love your patterns and your sense of style. I may even be inspired to sew a casual dress.
Love your channel…the Thrift-Flips are some of my favorites!
Wow congratulations on the growth in your channel. I always look forward to your videos
Thank you! Happy New Year!
Thank you! And best of luck to you and your channel this year, too! :)
Welcome to the Forty's club. I love your contents
Enjoy your presentation. Please include more talk about fitting, ease, how you go about it.
I’m excited about you doing more “making” videos! I love your garment construction videos and think including making will be so fun!
For your 100k video - can you speak about how you applied your architectural skills to sewing? Very interested and ❤ your channel 🎉
Woohoo! 84 BABY!! Yeah!!
Life happens to us all, don't be so hard on yourself. Hope 2024 brings everything that you wish for you and your family.
Thank you! That is so true--I wish I could be go-go-go all the time but it's just not sustainable!
Oh I wish I was 40 again! I’m 66. I started going to the gym when I was 24 and I still go and at my age I definitely have to incorporate weights in my routine. Do take care of your skin.
Love the idea of a broader maker approach to the channel.
Have a great year!
Thank you! Happy New Year!
I’d love to see your skin care routine
I'm very excited to see what things you would create outside of sewing. I'm a lover of many art forms as well, and it's awesome to see other multi creators. Happy New year!
How about a video on your skincare since you’re looking so snatched at 40!! Love your channel. Happy New Year!
Haha thank you! :)
I would love to buy your 'Easy DIY Skirt' pattern!
I love watching your videos. You go girl! See you again soon!
Have a nice year 🥂❤ Greetings from Vienna 🇦🇹 Austria
Happy New Year! :)
Aw thanks!! I definitely like a challenge, and once I start a project I go all in!
Hello Casey - just want to say I absolutely love your channel and your content. I will enjoy watching how your channel expands and to see where your creativity takes you and us (by default) Season’s Greetings for 2024. What about posting fortnightly? I also look forward to your new patterns.❤
Thank you so much!
I really enjoy your videos! I always click to watch what you post! 😊
Would you ever consider making a knit button down top pattern? There are so many woven versions in home sewing patterns, but I've think I've seen just one knit version come up on Google. I would love something like that. 😊 I know your video about your mesh tops included a button variety....
(If anyone knows of one, please let me know. 🙂)
Agree with your suggestion. I’ve got an ancient knit button down top in my closet from Orvis. I hang on to it because I can’t find anything like it and just keep hoping the style will be popular again. So comfortable but still can look fairly put together😊.
Thanks! I have thought about making a pattern like that, actually!
Is your adorable dog a BG??? Mire dog please. And i like the thrifting and theift flips too
We think he is a shih tzu, but he is a shelter buddy so we aren't 100% sure. He's a sweetie! And always close by :)
Which of your patterns do you recommend for beginners?
The Fern Top is a great beginner project that I sell!
Thank you! I love and appreciate your channel! ❤
@@PatternScout thank you. I will do just that
I buy three yards of whatever it is, lol.
Your teeth are beautiful😁!
My mother went through menopause right as I went through puberty. My poor dad!
@@daxxydog5777 , I did it as a single mom
