Ronnie Eketone I probably should have said terrible lighting effect. From about 4:33 to the end, somebody turned on large eye level lights up-stage and left them on. It shut down the iris of the camera and likely had a similar effect on the audience. There's a helpful rule of thumb for artists and designer - less is more. Still, Body Rock 2015 on youtube has been fun to watch.
THERE SHOULD NEVER BE A VIDEO PLAYING ON BIG ASS FUCKING SCREEN ON ANY DANCE PERFORMANCE. I see that shit way too often, amazing perfomances but getting distracted because some shit playing on a screen with 6 mag brightness. Terrible event organizing.
