@@blazejenkins8386 the problem is ,every thing can pen him, arty can kill him in tow shoots ,this tank is slow and does not have any armor so even a tier 8 tank can kill it ,it means in average battles ,if u are facing pro enemy, u can not do any work and u die so fast.

Well, it depends quite on your play style. I mean, jagd panzer is one big meaty slow TD with a 170mm. Slow and helpless if you’re surrounded. Kv2 is OP
if you know where to aim penetrating is almost never an issue.. its really dependant on your team how good you do though.

sadly EBR wheel "armor" can "bounce" these rounds.
aim higher on ebr's, when you hit a weel you don't hit the hull verry often.

Hitting and EBR would be like tanks trying to shoot down planes. Tiny target moving super fast.
If you are spamming HEAT into the sides of EBR's, you should be punished for that. If its AP, not so much.
Bucks N Trucks And our tanks should just cripple them with our machinegun while they break they axle against a rock or totalled their car against a tree, or go into a barrel by turning hard at 90 kph... Wheeled are just cheats machine abusing the server lag and physics model to achieve unrealistic ability.

And if one time you manage to do real amount of damages it's because you are losing. So this video resume my feeling about it.

also as a slowass tank you need to hope youre lucky enough to have chosen the right flank and not just stare at nothing for minutes

If you angle well you can still bounce some gold, but I agree. The 420 HEAT is so troll though.

tbh my biggest problem is Artillery, I kinda learned to bait the enemy into shooting my gun mantlet with their gold rounds
It is sad how much gold is slung around now. Might as well retire anything that isn't russian or a medium/light tank.
Let s be' honest here:jagdtiger, JP e100, ferdinand, maus,mauschen E 100 are all massive and slow tanks with reloads from 11 to 21 seconds. The fact that with some ammo you can penetrate massive spots on the tank is legal cheating. Maus is slow and chunky, ferdinand has big weakspots, e100 has some on the turret s corners and on top, jagpanzer E100 has his cupola... they already have weaknesses and weakspots. Even the bobject nerf makes no sense to me. The power plate is still non existent basically, but pressing 2 you can pen the area near the gun.... this is legal cheating and gold ammo should be' changed asap because they ruin tank roles and tactics.

Apparently in WOT Blitz they buffed this things gun arch. I think WG needs to do that with this thing to make its armor more effective. Rn this game things armor is just a gimmick.
Nothing wrong with its armour, but when people just load heat rounds that's when the armour turns to cheese. Nurf the heat rounds and stop buffing tanks

@@ywoisug8845 Armor isn't mediocre. It's pretty good. I've had games where I block 5k-6k damage in JPE100 since I constantly angled and remained hull down. I even bounce tons of AP rounds sometimes.
This was my very first tier X tank and I used to love back when gold rounds actually cost gold. There weren't many tanks that you'd face that would have any chance at penning you unless they shot your lower plate.
Oh now I understand tomatoes. You want to drive your impenetrable tanks without having to skillfully bait or angle your armor that's why you cry about gold like babies
@@philosophist9562 Well when I started playing years ago I didn't even know about the angle of the armor. I just picked it because it had one of the biggest guns and lots of armor, and off course I thought it was a cool tank. Although nowadays I only play meds and light tanks.
Still doesn't change the fact that it's not as good of a tank as it used to be. I feel like people in general never aim for weak spots anymore, or at least not against tanks like the Jp or the E100 heavy tank. If you know where to aim you don't need gold against either of them even as a lower tiered tank. Neither one is impenetrable if you know where to aim, not even close to it actually. But now people just press the 2 key and aim for the superstructure. I would say people need less skill now since you can compensate with more gold in many cases.
I still think it's a fun tank to play for the lols but nothing more. I mean I'm sure there are lots of people who still like it but I have more fun and do better in my meds and lights.
Off course everyone started out as noobs. I don't think anyone starts out as a unicum, I was no different. I sucked in the beginning but I've been getting better and better over the years.
@@alvins5054 Meh, wekapsot aiming is not super hard, I don't rly cpunt it skill myself. Now that rng is not such a big deal because of gold it becomes more about how you cobtrol your own tank such as autobounce angles and baiting

When gold rounds weren't available for credits in this game, the jageru was a force to be reckon with on the battlefield, if it's lower plate wasn't visible it was unkillable and no one dares to even peek the corner because fear of being obliterated to oblivion. But as soon as you pull the trigger, they swarm you and you're gone before u can reload (21 sec with maxed out stats) As times went on the jageru was never buffed and power crept since it's released and so many hull down tanks came into the game and spam heat unto the super structure, yes it's glory days are long gone, I'm pretty sure it could use some buffs to the superstructure as the e100 is getting to it's turret, to restore it's reputation of the early days of wot. But I won't deny the heat rounds on this thing are very brutal, it challenges even the strongest turrets in this game still, but since enemy spams heat at your super structure, I simply will return the 420 heat shell in your face.
I dont think that Jagdpanzer need a buff, what the game needs is general nerf to fix the effects of insane powercreep and give a chance to heavies.

@@malisa71 It is, but its a quick, easy and also wrong way of doing it. The issue isnt insufficient armor, its way to much firepower everewhere (and also gold shells being useful against some target while giving almost no advantage against others). I did not really considered Jagdpanzer E100 or other heavy vehicles underperforming when i left, i just lost the feeling i had in closed beta of driving something heavy and very well armored. Even heaviest tanks were penetrated quite easily with those new guns, receiving insane damage as a result, so mobility became much more important and almost the only way to go against a decent players.
irl High explosive do not dmg if not penetrate or if not hitting crew so why does HE damage of HP in WoT ?? no logic

high calibre HE shells in real life have extremely high pressure explosion that when it hits a target, the target will take internal damage because the innerside of the wall will fall off and kill the crew or damage other modules.
This is not limited by HE shells, high velocity shells will cause the same effect. This effect is called Spall or fragmentation of the inner walls.
That is what the Spall liners should reduce in real life. There is logic with HE damaging inner compartments of a tank.
It used to be fun, then it took a powercreep to the knee. It can still BE fun, but its too easy to penetrate.

I wish that they'd make 3 versions of each of the skins, 1 winter, summer and desert. Just change the paint, none of the other element need to change. It just looks so out of place to have a desert skin in a winter map for example.

This was my first ever Tier X. Sadly its near on useless with the current meta :(
Mine was the E4, which was good when I got it back before the 152/155 Alpha nerf but that gun with a great firing arc was all it had going for it, they took the alpha away and I sold it a few months after and never looked back. In fact for a bit I ran the T30 instead of the E4 until I got the E100 in clan wars because the T30 was more reliable and more versatile.
Love this tank, took me years to finally get there. The boom factor alone is worth the reload if you play right. This tank is superior.

Do you need a stenth in your heart or legs yet ? Takes to long to even get a tier ten . the damage is done to your body for sitting to long !
It's one of those things...I really like this tank, I really do! But it's just unplayable at the moment... there's so many mitigating factors to take Into account. 1). The amount of Heat/APCR being used at the moment makes it's armor worthless. It's threat factor is that as soon as players see it on the overview they immediately dab the 2 key.
2).It's simply been powercreeped over the years, The introduction of faster mediums/Heavies with higher calibre guns (I say that but everyone knows that the same 2 guns have different stats in this game.) You're constantly out positioned by your faster opponents.
3). It's Reload is ridiculous. 20 seconds with a maxed out cree gives them enough time to break cover, permanently track and HE you from behind.
4) it constantly gets ammo racked and tracked, every round, and I mean everyone damages something, whether it's the tracks, Loader, gas tank etc something always gets damaged.
I could really go on and on... It needs a buff I think, either directly to it or Gold ammo needs nerfing.
JgdPzE100 was my first tier 10 and even then when I first acquired it, i thought that is extremely underperforming. The part where you mentioned module damage is 100% true.
For some reason with this tanks, it looks like it takes increased module damage. It is so weird... It looks like as ifs tracks HP is way lower than its counterparts...

To be honest I get so frustrated with players these days and with the game in general. So many games where I'll be in a tier 8 tank and I'll get shot by a tier 10 TD using Gold ammo and it's only a minute into the game.... and tanks like the JgPz E100 are arty magnets...
All the years of powercreep need to be nerfed so that all the other tech tree tanks can keep up. Buffing 5 tanks every few years leaves a hundred that continue to fall behind while they introduce new powercreep vehicles.
@@social3ngin33rin Yeah, There needs to be a more active approach to buffing and Nerfing tanks.. it's so weird that wargaming move at a glacial pace at balancing... but like you said they'll spam out new tier 8 premium tanks with 390 alpha and can hit 50km. Frustrating to say the least.

I've been playing WoT on and off for 7 years. I started off by working towards the Jagdpanzer E 100 and have been grinding since. I just got enough XP to unlock it a few days ago, as my first tier X tank. So this video is perfect timing for me to learn more about it.
Sorry to tell you, but this was my first tier X as well and I think (and most seasoned players would agree with me) it sucks. And although I am one of the better players on EU with it (according to xvm I am better than 80% of the players who play this tank) I absolutely hate taking it out of the garage. Let me tell you why.
1. It's sluggish and you have to commit to a position. If nothing happens there, you are useless for the rest of the match.
2. You can't snipe. Although it has 0.32 accuracy (with BiA and vents) the shells more often than not go wherever they want. Because somehow WG has a problem with big caliber shells and they can behave very strange in the game. Even with my Obj 704 which only has 0.37 accuracy AND slower shells i hit better on long range targets.
3. Since you can't snipe (you'd get spotted fast anyway) you have to play this tank as a second line support, shooting at medium or close range. Good luck with that, seasoned players just load gold and pen you in the superstructure no matter how you angle. Sometimes you get a lucky bounce but yeah, you only get good games if the enemies you face are noobs who don't know weak spots.
4. Narrow gun arc to the sides. 8 degrees are bad, and for this tank even more. Because if you turn the tank, the bloom is big. And trust me, all these snapshots you see in the videos? PURE luck. Most of the times if you even dare to shoot before fully aimed, that shot is gonna fly to the moon. Since you need to turn the tank to angle your armor you are in a bad spot everytime you want to shoot, cause you NEED to fully aim.
So all in all, get ready to have very frustrating games with it. From time to time you get awesome games, with crazy amounts of dmg. And omg these are so fun and the only reasons I sometimes take it out on the battlefield. But for the vast majority of the matches you will have mixed feelings about this tank.

@@SunshineViaPocket No worries. There are still some things that are fun to do with it:
1. Pen Maus in the turret cheeks. Especially with gold it's very easy.
2. Pen T110E3 in the machine gun "weakspot" (it is NOT a weakspot). Load gold and show them that for your tank in fact it is a weakspot.
3. Pen IS-7 in the turret. When they raise the gun, shoot underneath it (every tank is able to pen them there). With gold you also pen the turret a bit lower and left or right to the gun.
Be careful with gold ammo because it is HEAT. Never shoot anywhere near to tracks or any spaced armor (S.Conq turret, Maus side armor) or armor which have a strong angle (HEAT can't overmatch).
The super structure needs an armor buff frontally. It doesnt need to be obj268v4 standards, just some sort of HEAT protection like covered with tracks
Cover it with tracks would do shit. The track would still be flush to the hull so the plasma stream from the shell would just go through both.
What you need is a.k.a spaced armour. This triggers the shell to explode some distance from the hull and hence it has lost most of it's energy when it hits it and thus can't penetrate.

Idk about PC, but on blitz, we do that for the "Death Star"(Fv215b 183).
All slow tanks are no longer competitive anymore. With all the fast meds, lights and crazy fast wheelies you just get outplayed by people who can reposition, track you with dpm or circle you since you have no turret. If you choose a side and your team melts..you die bc you cant get out of there fast enough. Also most new tanks have high pen guns so armor on this and other slow tanks just isnt enough to make you survivable. In a platoon with a tank or two to help you, yes it can be good. Your mobility prevents you from having as much influence as your div mates though.
You say that; but this month I've just unlocked the Tortoise and within 120 games I have 2 marked it and sitting on 86% MoE. Super-Heavy TDs still have a role in the game; but maybe few have a role tier for tier; compared to the Tortoise's accuracy, RoF and penetration. It's become one of my favourites; and I even have a super-unicum status in it where even my T95, WZ-111G FT grinds I completed in similar timing last month didn't receive that status (Just mid-unicum 2500 wn8 for similar games).
If you can foresee a flank falling; at least convince people to leave and set yourself up to take advantage of a enemy that stretches it's line of advance; and over-commits to many flanks before they consolidate and eliminate remaining allies on a flank. That's my advice to any Tortoise/TS-5 player - You can just simply turn around a lost flank in kill deficit very quickly; neutralising the score and even giving your team the advantage. Of course it doesn't happen all the time; and experienced players will know these intuitions better than new players; or those with less than 10k games.
Most new tanks have high pen guns? Bro the ST-2, the 60TP and even the 268v4 have lower pen than others.

Think of all the tanks in the game that really make you pucker when you roll around the corner and find one looking at you. KV-2, FV 4005, JagPanzer E-100. Easily the top three in my book, and honestly I still get nervous around the KV-2 in my tier 8's, maybe ptsd from lower tiers lol.

This was a “WOW” video for me - even being a year out it still resonated with me. Now I want Jg, P. E 100.
13:55 this clearly shows that basiclly all tds need a group buff. If you look closely, youll notice that most of them have winrate under 50% with some exceptions.
Not only a buff.. but redesign in several cases. Take the Strv e.g. It's the pure definition of autoloader and the new suspension system. FFS, it invented it. Instead you have this "siege mode" and "manual loading".
@@azynkron Unfortunately if equipement and behavior of Strv 103B were accurate it would be as toxic as WT E100 was and would have been quickly removed and replaced by the current WG made Strv 103B. Sadly...
I kinda like the fact that TDs are a bit underpowered since I don't think that's where the game should be at. On a lot of the maps you can't push a side just because there are probably a few TD in the back in some sort of OP bushes. Too many TDs in todays games. Sometimes they can't do anything but sometimes they farm crazy amount of damage which breaks the game on a certain map. Either fix the broken position on maps or or keep the TD a bit underpowered IMO. The fact that they are nor flexible and can't do anything on a lot of the maps is what gives them the bad win rate. Better maps or not random matchmaker where you can choose which maps you want to play in your TD would give you much better win rate since you can actually influence the battle. Sorry for the long comment didn't intent to make it that way.
Best buff would be to firstly remove that eheeled shit from the game and then finaly after 10 years fix that gold ammo problem
obviously, TDs is a class that better players tend to avoid so its winrate will be dragged down a bit.

There are a selected few positions on the maps where these things work and so so well. Exposed tracks and heat going through the front being the biggest issues with the vehicle.

I just bought the mighty JP E100 a few weeks ago when there were sales on tonks. And I love it that's my new toy. As soon as you that it has a very weak lower plate and know where and how to hide it you'll do consistent damage to the ennemies. And just like that, my first game in it was a loss but I did 7.7k damage and 4 kills. And on the top of having a huge alpha damage, you have a very good DPM so, it is a very powerfull Super Heavy Tonk Destroyer in my opinion

Being the Author of the screenplay, “Tiger One”. (The saga of the Top Tank Ace of WW2, Kurt Knispel) I play primarily the German line. Last year I got the JgPzE-100. Had over 700 battles in it. Also recently revisited my E50M and E50. QB I must be transparent but I actually get more Joy w the E-100. I have a 50% win rate which is the highest in my garage of 70 tanks. Also the highest Alpha Dmg, (by a nose.). I love at times being a game changer as I know my teammates love seeing me with them. The armor works. And the gun works. If I get caught alone I suffer those consequences. But I’m in enough battles where I play a major factor. And that brings me joy.And that’s what WOT is all about.
*"I wish Wargaming would actually listen to the community."* HA! Yeah right. It'll take another mass exodus of players, like when they released the Chrysler K, for them to even consider listening to us. WoT's player population still hasn't recovered from that mess.

Juan D as on old wot player, don’t play this game. It’s not worth your time. However, blitz is better if you still really want to play. But I wouldn’t recommend even blitz

This was my second ever Tier X tank after the IS7 and I was so disappointed with both I quit for a month.
I think you just suck. My first was IS-7 I wasn't dissapointed, I just 3 marked it because it's a beast
is-7 is not even out of the meta its pretty good tank but 277 is little beter most of the time
Bit of a long comment:
It's an inflexible tank. It primarly only good on punishing tanks.
It has good pen and high alpha which leads to players being quite cautious.
So you tend to have to wait for people to come in front of you due to it's slow speed and traverse combined with limited gun arc.
This gun arc is compounded by poor gun handeling and long reload you really dont try to snap shot, because it's so punishing.
If you do attempt to side scrape then pop out and shoot you often still take the gold shot due to the armor. You take the gold shot then proceed to miss cause of the mention limited gun and the enemy being cautious and only exposing a limited amount of the tank and instantly retreating after firing cause big gun.
Attempting to push is generally a bad idea cause of general lack of mobility and being a quite limited non turreted tank.
So you often get focused easily. Also being a rear mounted TD is generally harder to get good spots in as well.
So it becomes a frustrating experience to play solo in. To properly trade in you need a good platoon to support you when you try to support.
In general to possibly "fix" this tank, may consider an option of a much better gun arc 12.8cm gun from the Jagdtiger.
Or just introduce the krokodile version of the design.
The reason the tank not completely crap is because of the alpha. Take that way and it has nothing. However on a side tangent talking about German TDs I do believe the grille should be replaced with the 12.8 pak 44 Waffenträger Krupp 1 (Waffenträger auf Panther) which is the historical planned successor to the Waffenträger auf Pz4. As the name implies it used a modified panther hull very similar to the one the grille has, but it used a similar gun shield as the Auf pz4 and the same devastating 12.8cm. It’s sad that the tier 9 is better than tier 10 grille in almost every way and the play style on the grille is completely different from the entire line.

zorin234 just look up the Waffentrager Krupp 1, you can see pictures of the models for it. I don’t think it was ever produced, I don’t think the Wt auf pz4 was either but they would have been fairly simple conversions. Not like building a new tank from the ground up
zorin234 the 8.8 cm pak 43 waffenträger ardelt would be an interesting turreted replacement for the Sturer Emil. Similar to the premium tier 7 already in the game (can’t remember the name) but is plenty different it was actually built as well. Weird enough it’s actually sitting right next to the Sturer Emil at the kubinka tank museum

the JPZ-E100 used to be able to do 2700 alpha damage a shot with a drawback of 27 secs to reload, i miss being able to do that.
Watching your WoT videos to learn how to defeat a certain tank. Good stuff.
One of the big things I find about alpha damage vs dpm is that for dpm you have to reveal yourself more often to get the same damage. On the test server I used the E100's big gun for this reason. Less chances to get shot with a meatier punch means you can hold a position for much longer.
Dpm is good for meds and flanking alpha is better for trading
I love this tank. I usually get anywhere from 2 to 5k damage every game. This tank is a monster if used behind low cover. Quicky that was a good game tho. Still want to see you one day on the field.

North America player here. This tank is not only my favorite tier 10 tank Destroyer but also my first tier 10 of any class. I loved it enough to min max it by applying Bond Rammer(19.19 second reload)/Bounty Vents/Bounty GLD. I have a 4 skill 100% crew working 75% on 5th skill. It's able to out trade opponents who happen to sit in front of its gun. The decent armor allows for some bounces and non penetrating shots if you get a bit lucky.
I'm not perfect with it and mistakes happen. Its capabilities allow it to be an assault gun in a city environment or a sniper. although with 0.31 accuracy it can be troll. 54% wins in the tank and about 875 average xp per battle. I enjoy it and hope for it to be the first tier 10 in my garage with 1,000 battles on my account.
It was also my first X and still my favorite TD :)
My first tier X td :) love it! Not playing him so often but from time to time I get in for 2 or 3 battles, just to see huge dmg numbers :)
some calls it a meme but even an average player like me have those kind of games and the funniest thing about that td is you clearly see the panic of your opponent when they trying to dodge your shot lol

It was my first t10 and most played tank(2k) in my garage. But the fact that I can't get 3 mark of excellence no matter how I hard I try really makes me frustrated. It makes me realize the limit of my ability and talent.

QB, have you thought about doing a “does it suck” on the Centurion AX? it’s hovering around 50% WR, but it’s a good dmg, sporting, and survived battles are 7-10% lower than any other tier 10 non-auto loading/reloading MTs. Also, as an all-rounder, the M48 is better, and as a sniper, the Leo1 is now better as well. It doesn’t really have a role anymore. I think it would be a good candidate.
I still remember one game where me and my friend were playing a match, and there was a 279e on their team that we were really struggling to take down (obviously). And my friend forgot that the gold rounds on this E 100 were 420 pen. And the line that he said right before shooting a gold round to the 279e was, "you know now that you mention it, i think the gold rounds on this thing can easily pene-" BOOOOOOMMM straight though the frontal plate and ammo racked the 279e. One of the most beautiful moments I've ever witness. That made me start the E100 line! Currently on the ferdi 😭
the 'skin' from the JgdPz E100 is so food it is the reason why i want to get the tank and hope to be able to then buy the 'skin' at some event when its available

Hey quickie I have a question about the jagdpanzer e100 I played around with the new update today and for shot for shot I was getting 993 instead of 1050 a shot did they Nerf the Jag Panther e100?
It was close to reach 8000 - last TD mission for Obj260.
Considering that its armor gets useless with regards to gold spam 'not to mention the weakpoints on top and lower glacis'this tank will already be killed until fully reloaded when it does not have any cover.
That's why map positioning is very important in this tank. And at least have 2-3 teammates nearby for some support.
5:15 well they have to make profit somehow but I wish there was a way to get those boxes "free" by doing some long missions for example

I started playing about a year before gold rounds were still only purchasable for real money, and it's true that the Jp E100 was one of the biggest threats in the game at the time. These days, with tanks getting faster, having stronger turrets, and having the ability to load full gold clips in every tank that renders all armor pretty much useless, I rarely see a Jp E100 survive very long in a match. I don't have one yet, so I can't speak from playable experience, but in all my 10k+ battles so far (assuming my number of battles since gold was made available for credits), I have yet to take part in a battle with a player pulling off a result anywhere close to the one in this replay.
