Tears of the Kingdom. No Dragon form, sad. Dragon Quest X. Yes Dragon form, happy.
If they put as much effort into dragon quest monsters visually as dragon quest x I would be so happy the game is still extremely enjoyable but definitely missed the mark there.
Also I know being a switch exclusive limits what they can do but I hope it gets upgraded and put on more consoles though
I think there is lots of effort in Dragon Quest Monsters - but they focused too much on it being a handheld title instead of making it an overall top quality AAA game.
...and Japan still loves it!

@HDHaZmY I definitely believe there is a lot of effort put into the game overall. I am currently addicted to it! The game loop is extremely enjoyable and they did a lot of cool things such as the seasons changing. I just believe it would have grabbed a lot more western attention if it was visually more polished and the performance more optimized. I can look past those things and still greatly enjoy the game being a dragon warrior monsters lover but when it comes to pulling in new westerners to the franchise I think that would have greatly helped.

Really wish I had the time to justify a new subscription, because I've been wanting to jump back into DQX for so long now, over 2 years, I think.

Seriously, though, I reeeeally want to. You have no idea, lol. If it had a proper localization, DQX would actually be my #1 favorite DQ, and I've played them all so far.

@@HDHaZmY it has to be on pc right or else it will not work due to it being region locked
@@grizzly505gaming9 Some people managed to make it work on Switch - but the Fan Translation itself only works on Pc!

Man once V7 is out we'll jave this in the quality it should be
After seeing that Dragon transformation... I am seriously questioning if any other Class is worth to play x)
@@HDHaZmY don't count your dragons yet! Each expansion comes with TWO new classes and we haven't seen the second one.
But for real Puff as the ability for Draconic warlock's pep skills was a smart choice. It makes me wonder what the other ability will be as well as its passive buffs when in a pep state. And for lore reasons I will be very disappointed If the quests for this class are not in version 3 maps
